Hi,I'm working on a setup with a filter and some electronics to get an analog signal ready for a ST microcontroller (STM32H723VG). I want to simulate everything, even the part inside the microcontroller that handles the signal. But the problem is, I can't find the info I need in the microcontroller's manual. The manual does have a table that shows how long it takes to sample different signals, depending on how much resistance the source has. But I'm not sure how to use this info to figure out the resistance and capacitance inside the microcontroller.So far, I've tried to guess the resistance and capacitance by looking at the sampling times in the table. I came up with a guess of 1K ohm for the resistance and 8.5 pF for the capacitance. But I'm not sure if 1 kilo-ohm is right. I want to sample at about 4MSPS, but 1 kilo-ohm might be too much resistance to do that quickly enough within 0.5LSB and with the required sampling time of 60-7

Hello!I'm trying to use a firmware DFU with the STM32F407 and Emulated EEPROM to change into DFU / App or App / DFU. The DFU address is in 0x08000000, the Emulated EEPROM address is in 0x08008000 and the Application address, on 0x0800C000. All this steps works fine, the DFU connect with USB to the STM32CubeProgrammer and I can load a first code. Then it jump right to the Application, run it good, and I can go back to the DFU without problems. The problems comes when a trying to load another program after the first load previously. I could find in the code of DFU, the function MEM_If_Erase_HS is never called so, it can't load a new program. The other functions, some are called like MEM_If_Write_HS (because load the first time the program) and MEM_If_Read_HS (because the verification is right). So, I don't understand or I can't find why is not called the function to erase the memory and program another code.On th

So I have two STM32F11E Discovery boards and both have the same problem: When I create a project and choose this exact discovery board from the "Board Selector" so that the template software code is already loaded up and ready to compile, after succesful compilation when I run a simple blink LED programm the software doesn't reach the while loop in main because the clock setup configuration fails even though I have not changed anything except for two lines of code in the while loop which it doesn't even reach.When I debbug the board it always fails when initiallizing the external 8MHz clock on this line of code SystemClock_Config(). When I look into this function it fails at this line:  if(HAL_RCC_OscConfig(&RCC_OscInitStruct) != HAL_OK) and after looking into this function aswell the exact error source lies here:    /* Wait till HSE is ready */    while(__HAL_RCC_GET_FLAG(RCC_FLAG_HSERDY) == RESET)&

The MCU I use is stm32f103c8t6 and the sensor is mpu-9255 on the board, there are 5 sensors and I show these sensor values on the LCD screen. I connected a button and when I press the button it moves to the next sensor. The problem is that I want to continuously receive the data of the sensors and display them on the LCD continuously. Instead, I was able to display one-time data with a delay, but after connecting the button toggle, I could not receive any data. It saves a fixed data and shows only that. As I said, what changes do I need to make to continuously receive and print data from a sensor every time I press the button?By the way, if I take the value of only one sensor in "while" and print it on the LCD at once, I can get continuous data, but this does not work for more than one sensor.(I assume there is no hardware problem with this method)This is the main.c file. Hello All,     I am trying to include arm_math.h for STM32F401RE project, I have all the source file of math.h However when I try to build it. I am getting multiple defination  error at linking stage.Can anyone suggest me how to solve this? I am not trying to add the lib. But I want to understand how to add the source files of arm_math.h.Thank you

This is my first post in the community.Me and my colleagues are designing a System on Module powered by the STM32H735IG MCU.We are trying to discover how to connect multiple HyperRAM modules to a single OCTOSPI interface in Memory Mapped mode.For doing this, we need to use several Chip Select (CS) pins in order to specify the HyperRAM chip. However, the OCTOSPI interface seems to only provide a single CS pin.Is possible to configure the OCTOSPI interface to use more than one chip select?If not possible, how can we connect several HyperRAM modules to the STM32H735? Thanks in advance. Hi,I am working on a project using an STM32U031K8U6.I have been experimenting with various low power modes and somehow, It appears that I have accidentally set RDP level 1 protection.I have been using STM32CubeIDE to create and build code and then I used Seggers J-Flash and a J-Link debugger to actually program the device. I was able to successfully program my MCU multiple times with this setup. Hi together,i´m trying to set up a communication via usb using the usb cdc class to communicate with additional software via a virtual com port running on a local pc using the Nucleo G474RE board.However i can't find a sufficient documentation what i do have to implement / settings that have to be done to send and recieve data.I`ve also watched the youtube tutorial from stm on the topic usb cdc but it didn't help me. I made the following steps until now in the cube ide:I´ve activated the usb in the communication section and the usb_device in the middleware where i also set the communication device class option.

My ongoing difficulties running FATFS on an SD card has uncovered a problem! A read of the boot sector does not read all the data correctly, specifically the first 16 bytes are all zero. This means that FATFS reports there is no filesystem. The code I'm running is all CubeMX HAL stuff, so I'm at a loss what the problem is. 16 bytes is 1 DMA burst, so that might be significant. Here are screenshots of the SD boot sector, firstly as read by my PC, secondly as read during f_mount() by my STM32F767.

Hello everyone,I'm coming back to you regarding a synchronization problem between master and slave in I2C.I'm making an I2C/UART debug interface, what I want to do is display a menu in a terminal-> When we receive an address from the master (sent in I2C) to the slave we authorize the user to enter his choice in the terminal-> after reading the choice we display it in the terminal and transmit it to the master (slave->master) -> then at the master level according to RxData = which normally should contain the choice sent by the slave except that this is not the case -> according to RxData if = 'b' lights green led, if = 'l' yellow led, else lights orange led.To debug since it doesn't work as expected, when I receive all the address sent by the master, I send it to a process_data function and to force the issue, I send the 'b' character directly to the choice location, except that I receive nothing from the master and I get stuck in this loop:

Hello Team, we are using the STM32H755XIH3 for our new development. in the datasheet there it mentioned the maximum allowed voltage on input pin is 4V. somewhere its mentioned that the allowed voltage is of 3.6V.please let us know what will be the maximum allowed voltage at which the controllers pins were protected against the maximum voltage. awaiting your reply ! Thanks

I chose the directory where the main.c file is located (./). All the others' ./apps are stored in /app.

Hello, I am trying to play wav audio files from and sd card. The reading of the data works fine but the BSP_AUDIO_OUT_Play doesnt work, It get stuck inside the Dafult handler infinite loop.     

Hi i am using STM32G474VET3 controller having below clock input range– 4 to 48 MHz crystal oscillator i am using 16 MHz right now. What is the significance if i use 32 MHz crystal or increase my crystal value. Does it increase speed for instruction execution . as max is 170MHz (i guess nby internal PLL)The STM32G473xB/xC/xE devices are based on the high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M432-bit RISC core. They operate at a frequency of up to 170 MHz.    

Trying to send a CAN message every second but after a few tries it returns the HAL_CAN_ERROR_PARAM error. Tried to check if there is an empty mailbox available before sending the next can message but the mailboxes arent emptied. I am working with the NAND Flash 5 Click module, the STMOD+, and the STM32H750B Disco board. My goal is to read, write, and erase data in this memory. However, I cannot find the necessary drivers for this memory. Who could help me or has an example of code that works with this memory and the STM32H750B board? I am working at the HAL level.

I currently have a 2.8 TFT SPI 240x320 v1.1 Display (Vcc, Gnd, Reser, DC, SDI[MOSI], Sck, Led, SDO[MISO]), and I want to use it as a substitute for a 1.3-inch OLED SPI Display Module (GND, Vcc, SCL: SPI clock, SDA: SPI data, RES: Reset, DC, BLK: Led).The problem is that they have different pins.Is that possible? If it is, is there a display driver I should buy? or please suggest a pinout details. Also, I would like to hear about the coding. Hi there!I'm reporting a general documentation error for all instances of the STM32 CORDIC hardware.For the modulus parameter m, the documentation lists the following:But this is not correct. The hardware supports the range [-1,1] for the modulus value m as well, it is NOT limited to [0,1].Could this error please be updated in all instances of the CORDIC for all processors? This affects the cosine and sine functions at the least, I have not checked the other functions, but I imagine your engineers could verify. Hello team, I am using the default generated code on STM32H725 uC for ADC1. I am using it in polling mode. The value what I get in ADC DR is 10 times less than the value that I expected. I tried this for various voltage range on its external pins. I am using the ADC1 in single end mode. Also, I am using a external ref of 3.3V Thank you in advance.

I have been trying to resolve the issue for receiving the CAN interrupt but not able to find the root cause.Hardware is a custom board micro is STM32F405RGT6 i am using CAN1 for CAN communication with 500 Kbps.Able to transmit message CAN message using polling method. I am transmitting CAN messages from Peak CAN tool but not able to hit the receive interrupt.Few observations after reset, the DBF bit is set, will it be a problem?1.2.I have the Tx interrupt enabled
