STM32 MCUs Products

I designed simple board around STM32C011J6 MCU (SO8 package). I'm using fresh-from-packaging parts, ordered from Element14 (Farnell). When I try to connect to MCU (via SWD, using ST-LINK/V2 ISOL), I get "Can not read memory! Disable Read Out Protection and retry" error:13:05:51 : Connected via SWD.13:05:51 : SWD Frequency = 0,9 MHz.  [I've tried frequencies between 400kHz to 4MHz, same result]13:05:51 : Connection mode : Connect Under Reset.13:05:51 : Device ID:0x44313:05:51 : Device family :Unknown device13:05:51 : Can not read memory! Disable Read Out Protection and retry.Chip Erase doesn't work either, which suggests RDP2 (if indeed enabled). Is there some issue I concerning board layout/setup have managed to miss (SWDCLK for instance is used to control a FET in main application, but that should not interfere here; SWDIO and NRST are not shared), or has someone delivered me bogus parts (as I suspect)?I am not see

There is a big differenece between MPU and MCU products Hi,   we are currently selecting an STM32 MCU.   We need a dual core M7+M4 and so we've spotted STM32H757, so far so good. Unfortunately we (lately) found out that even if its timer(s) are stated as HRTIM they do not have the DLL feature implemented and do not support high resolution PWM. So the question is "Is there any ST MCU fullfilling both requirements, M4+M7 and HRTIM with DLL?"   Thks

Hi,I’m trying to confirm the supported year range for the built-in hardware calendar in the STM32L452RE.Since the RTC year register is two digits (00–99), does this mean the calendar supports dates from the year 2000 to 2099?I’d appreciate it if anyone could clarify up to which date the RTC can correctly calculate.Thanks,

Hello,  I have two channels on ADC1 and I want to trigger a s ample separately, every two seconds from first channel and every 10th second from second channel. I am using interrupts so after the adc trigger I get an interrupt when conversion is done. But it seems i only get a sample or read it from the first channel. I am new to stm32 microcontroller so i am not sure what can be wrong. I am configering everything and using an interrupt handler for reading the ready sample. With a stm32c0116-dk, I am attempting to read vrefint, and calculate vref+. From my understanding of the data sheet, and schematic. VDDA is tied to VREF+ . On the development kit, these voltages are 3.3V.VREF+ = ((VREF _Charac+) * (VREFINT_CAL)) / VREFINT_DATAFrom the Datasheet - VREF _Charac+  = 3.0VWhen I calculated VREF+, after reading VREFINT_DATA from the ADC, and VREFINT_CAL from the memory address. I am expecting a result close to 3.3 volts, but instead I am getting 3.04VI have attempted to increase the sample time to ADC_SAMPLETIME_160CYCLES_5, but it makes no difference.What am I doing incorrect?

Hello all,I am on the STM23 H750 discovery dev. kit working either in Keil or CubeZone IDE-just started, anyway, so far so good, and according to the logic analyser the LIN works, at least the checksum is right :) So far I am sending the frame once the button is pressed, made with switch and different states...  this only sends out the LIN frame once the button is pressed, is this normal, OK, or should the LIN frame be send once the button is pressed continuously every 3 or more seconds... For example, I am reading the bus from the other device, random, and it is sending out frame every few seconds, looks rather random... attaching a pic of analyser...

Hello,I have an issue and until now didn't find the solution :Using ADC2, one channel IN12, triggered by timer every 100µs, using circular DMA sized of 16 half-words, the array [0] value is always 0, the array's index used by DMA is from 1 to 16, not 0 to 15. See below screen shots : 

Hello Team,With RDP set to Zero Level , Firmware upload succesfully using CubeProgrammer GUI ( USB DFU mode ).But If I set RDP LeveL 1 , Device not able to detect on PC device manager and not able to connect with STM32 using CubeProgrammer USB interface Option. It does not connect at all.Hence , Firmware update not possible with RDP 1 using USB DFU.After Setting RDP Level 1 to Zero using STlink V2 SWD interface , It works fine in USB DFU mode.Is it the correct behaviour ? Everytime do we need to set RDP Level 0 using STlink SWD and Then use USB DFU ?MCU is : STM32F303Rb

TL;DR: Two-node bus: STM32 (FDCAN1) ↔ CANable (SocketCAN) at 500 kbit/s candump can0 shows frames from STM32, but STM32 keeps flagging ACK error and increments TxErrorCnt. Scope on CANH/CANL (diff trace CH1–CH2) shows a dominant ACK bit in the ACK slot (!) External loopback works. Looks like my MCU isn’t “seeing” the ACK at its RX input—looking for eyes on transceiver mode pins, RX pin mapping/AF, and timing. Hi,I'm interfacing external ADC - 16 bit, 10MSPS (AD7626) with this microcontroller. STM32 SPI will work in slave mode, ADC will provide 80MHz clock. It will work in a burst mode - sampling 288 measurements x 16 bits at 5MHz.I can't decide whether I need BGA for this or LQFP will be sufficient. I remember having issues with internal ADC under performing when used in LQFP package. I don't want to go with BGA unless I have to.Cheers

The datasheet for STM32H573 (WLCSP80 package, rev 5 p. 251) says that the leftmost ball (in the bottom view on the datasheet) is F=0.384mm from the package edge. Horizontal ball pitch is 0.35mm*(1/2)*√3. Therefore centering the ball array horizontally would give F = 3.50/2 - 0.35*(9/4)*√3 = 0.386mm.This 2 micron difference has led to some discussion about whether the ball array should be horizontally centered within the package edges on PCB footprints. (Additional discussion arose from my initial misunderstanding of the datasheet. The datasheet could possibly be improved by measuring the margin to the top row rather than the second row. I can't see any changes in I2C line with oscilloscope. STM32G0B1KBU3N have Pin PB9 as SDA and PA9 as SLC. 3.3Volts pull up via 4.7 kOhm resistor. I am trying negotiate with LM51772 DC-DC buck-boost converter. No external clock crystal. I am sure the issue in the code but because lack op experience cant see where. The required power is less than 60W. Im looking a for a suitable USB-PD implementation for this purpose. Can this be achieved using the USB PD peripheral in STM32s? I'm using a B-U585I-IOT02A board and the IOT_HTTP_WebServer example code. My read is the PSRAM is 8M on that board, but I can only access 16K (to 0x2803ffff) and then ???? is not IDE memory display or a trap in the code.  Is this a CPU configuration issue? 

Currently, on the STM32G474, I am able to perform on-the-fly flash operations and interrupt vector relocation using BF_MODE and VTOR. However, I have encountered an issue: when a function is placed in RAM using the ramfunc attribute or located in CCMRAM, how can I still achieve on-the-fly operation?
