Posted on November 22, 2017 at 18:06Hi,Actually the question is for ST. There are all examples and support of all USB host classes except just one - Video Class. I don't understand why it happens? Are there some road map to add it? And question to forum. May be someone can share UVC host (not device) driver for STM32 (L4 or F4 specifically) on HAL level? For my study I'm trying to connect to STM32L4 usb web cam, but I need to develop whole UVC host driver for it. May be someone can help with suggestions at least?Thanks,Boris

Hello!I have an ART_PI board with STM32H750XBHX MCU and W25Q64 FLASH IC on it.I want to make my own loader, but it doesn't work as it should.Running until the memcmp cycle, I look at the memory map. But the content is not good. There are values 00000000, 11111111, 22222222 instead of 00, 01, 02. Thus, memory comparison is not good.I can't find the error.I am attaching the files and the picture showing the memory map.Thanks for the help!

Hello people, i am making a project using STM32F407VG and i am using a timer that drives a laser. The problem is, when debugging STM is probably pulling couple of its pins to High state before i start F8 (between pressing the 'Debug' button and F8 to stop the program waiting at HAL_Init() function after i run the code it switches back to LOW state ) and messes up with my laser circuit. I want to know which pins go to High state and why, and see if i can control it i really have to deny it pulling to high state. Thanks for the help. Have a great day !  

so my project consists of : exploiting the serial communication to send the conversion data from ADC1 Channel 1 in ASCII format and considering a verification scenario for the program's functionality.about the verification scenario i visualize it in "putty" and it is right (i'm using a potentiometer like an analog input to my ADC ) (i also used a multimeter to know that adc is reading the input correctly)  and i get logique outputs is there any other thing i need to check that UART communication is set perfectly any verification scenario i should also implement???

I have two STM32 micros connected via CAN transceivers.  The sending unit is transmitting without issue, as evidenced by measuring both the CANH/CANL bus wires, as well as the CAN_RX/CAN_TX logical wires on the transmitter.  I did have to slow the bus down significantly due to high capacitance (troubleshooting at 20 kbps; hope to increase speed once I get the situation figured out).  I am using classic 11-bit identifiers, subdivided into a 7-bit message type and a 4-bit node ID.I can see the ACK bit on the CAN wire, so I know the receiver in the chip is correctly identifying the frame.  However, the receiver's two FDCAN interrupts never fire.  I have both set the non-matching 11-bit identifier action to FDCAN_ACCEPT_IN_RX_FIFO0 as well as set a id/mask filter with a mask of 0, as well as a filter set up the way I would intend for my application.  I will now let the code speak for itself: First, the MX-generated initializer is c

I'm trying to use SPI to communicate with a display (BT817) and whenever it tries to send data, the while (!LL_SPI_IsActiveFlag_RXNE(EVE_SPI)) {} never returns.  I've attached my CUBE IDE project.  Could anyone possibly give some guidance?  Am I missing a setting, have the clock misconfigured?  The board has a STM32F030R8Tx.Kindest regards

I'm trying to control a LTC-2668 dac device, through the spi interface. The dac opperates on mode 00 and spi commands are 24 bits long. I am developing an application for the STM32U575, and am currently testing on the Nucleo-U575ZI-Q. As per the reference manual (Rev. 4) Section 10.9 PWR Interrupts, Table 110 Note 1: "The PWR_S3WU interrupt is generated only when the device is in Stop 3 mode (not applicable in Run, Sleep, Stop 0, Stop 1, and Stop 2 modes)."However this is not the behaviour I am observing. I have found that the PWR_S3WU interrupt is generated whenever the Stop 3 mode is configured as the Deep Sleep Mode (i.e. PWR_CR1 LPMS[2:0] = 0b011), even if the stop mode is never entered.Can I please get confirmation what behaviour I can expect, for the nucleo and my target hardware (STM32U575VIT6Q)

Hello, everyone. I try to use standby mode and use RTC to wake up but I found that after wake up everything was reset. How can I avoid RTC reset after wake up? I want it to keep running.

Helloi need some help in transfering 24 bit 3 channel adc captured data via uart. SPI based ADC sampling rate is 4ksps i.e. I get dataready interrupt at every 256usec . The total bits per second would be then 4000x9x8 equals 288000.Can anyone help me with how can i transfer this via uart? (MCU - stm32l476 at 48MHz)Thanks in advance.

Hello members,I have problem with functionality of DMA data stream for ADC3 peripheral. I have H743ZIT controller. ADC1 with DMA is fully and properly working for each channel. I have placed ADC data array to RAM_D2 section for ADC1. For ADC3 I have used RAM_D3 section which should be proper for BDMA implementation. ADC3 seems to work good - because I see changes in DR register, but DMA transfer error occur immediately after HAL_DMA_IRQHandler is executing. Exactly this case is true:"else if (((tmpisr_bdma & (BDMA_FLAG_TE0 << (hdma->StreamIndex & 0x1FU))) != 0U) && ((ccr_reg & BDMA_CCR_TEIE) != 0U))"It leads to HAL_DMA_ERROR_TE error code.

I am designing a motor controller using STM32G030c8t6. but while connecting it to battery, if positive terminal gets connected to the battery before the negative terminal, then a voltage spike (of the voltage of battery) occurs on the board and it appears on Tx pin (PB6) which is damaging the microcontroller. But due to some mechanical limitations, there is no way to ensure that the negative terminal of battery gets in contact to battery first. Is there any way to protect board from this spike electrically.I tested this on a reference board which has another microcontroller (XCM - V NRFYT 2147), and on it the same spike appears on the microcontroller pins but the microcontroller survives. Is there any microcontroller from ST family that can survive this spike? I was not able to find any datasheet for this microcontroller, but in this link https://www.yoycart.com/Pr

Hi AllI want write on the SDMMC using HAL_SD_WriteBlocks_DMA system call. The function itself works, the sector on the SD is written, but no callback function (HAL_SD_TxCpltCallback) is called.Did someone experienced such trouble ?Thanks  

Hi,I would like to know what is max number of SPI slaves I can connect to a single SPI bus of STM32F779? I understand that using the chip select pin I can select respective slaves to operate. But is ther eany recommendation from ST that ideally , I should not exceed this number due to various factors like loading etc. I have 6 devices to be connected. Either I will connect all 6 to 1 bus or 3 devices acorss 2 busses.

Hi i m using STM32H750XBH and i would like to remap SPI pin to the following pin out, i m using SPI3 full duplex master, HW NSS output, could anyone advise is this is feasible? I'm bringing up a new board using a STM32H7A3. I've developed, downloaded, debugged and run lots of test programs from the VisualGDB IDE.  Now I'm working on the main application. I can still develop, download, debug and run from VisualGDB but when I exit VisualGDB, power down the board and repower it, the program doesn't seem to start up.  Almost the very first thing the main app does is blink a LED and that's not happening after powering down and powering back up. VisualGDB has a simple HAL based Blinky example built in and as a test, I built this example and it works fine both from VGDB and after powering down and back up.If I set a break point at the first line of code in my main app and look at the disassembled code, it starts running at memory location 0x08020DF8.  The Blinky app starts at 0X08000348.  Both of those memory locations are in the Flash memory space according to the reference manual so I'm pretty sure both programs are running from Flash

I have a question, how do I get the '.ld' link file for Flash, compared to the cmsis_device_f1 library cmsis_device_f4/Source/Templates/gcc/ directory that doesn't contain a `linker/` folder.
