hi,The PCB with STM32F746zgtx has already been shipped to the customer.Pin PA12 is responsible for controlling the RS485 DIR.The documentation states that Pin PA12 is powered by the Vddusb pin.It turns out that pin PA12 doesn't drive the high voltage (3.3V) because the Vddusb pin isn't connected.I can't make any hardware changes. Is there any way to force this in software?I've tried unsuccessfully:1. Set Open Collector + Pullup,2. Set Push-Pull,3. Set PIN PA11 (which is also powered by Vddusb) as a PULL-UP input, hoping it will transfer to PA12.4. Pin PB14 controls the LED (via ground). This pin also receives a high signal from the Vddusb pin, so I thought it might be possible to transfer the high signal from the LED to pin PA12, but it didn't work.5. I tried setting PA12 as hardware control (RS485).Do you have any ideas?  

The new STM32L4R9 svd file (version 2.0) has renamedTIM1_OR2 to TIM1_AF1,TIM1_OR3 to TIM1_AF2Removed TIM1_OR1 which is in the reference manual containing ETR_ADC1_RMP and TI_RMPAdded a new TIM1_TISEL at offset 0x68 which is not in the current reference manual.Is a new reference manual due and/or are these changes correct?p.s. I have a small project which should generate an interrupt whenever a DMA transfer has completed. If I build the code for an STM32F411 then it works exactly as expected. If I build that same code for an STM32F401, which is within the same family as the 32F411, then the project is not built correctly. Hello,I want to use the Timer1 CH1 and CH1N of the STM32H563ZI with dead time generator and break input functionality. It should behave in that way that when the break input (BKIN) is triggered it should goes to a predigined idle state (for CH1 low and for CH1N goes high). After setting the configuration to PWM mode 1 in that way and run the program on oscilloscope I can observe that eg. when the CH1 is low, CH1N is high and the BKIN triggers, the CH1 keep being low, but the CH1N change it state to low for dead time period and again goes high as a predefined idle state. Is it normal behaviour of the timer that even when the output should be high when BKIN occure it is pulling down for dead time and after dead time it is enabling the idle states? 

In STM32G474.svd version 2.1 that can be download from STM32G474RE product page , WWDG peripheral has no interrupt defined but it is actually the first (0th) interrupt. Is this a mistake or there is a reason behind not defining it in the SVD ?

 Dear all,I’m seeing unexpected behavior on an STM32N657. A timer is configured to generate an interrupt every 1 ms, and this works as expected.I would like to use WFI to stop execution and wait for that timer interrupt. I surround the WFI with the usual barriers (DSB before, ISB after). However, when I use WFI, the timer no longer synchronizes and the interrupt is never taken. With WFE, the system resumes correctly, but that is not the functionality I need.The same code works on my other ST targets (M3, M4, M7, M33), and it also works on a non-ST Cortex-M55. I haven’t found anything relevant in the errata.Could you please advise or point me to any known issues or configuration requirements related to WFI on the STM32N657?Many thanks in advance.Kind regards,Edo

HiI have to connect an STM34 Nucleo board to a TMC2209. I have to setup a single wire UART. Only TX is connected with the TMC board.I transmitted a datagram and when I try to receive the response I get back the initial data I have e sent.Does anybody know what could be happening?does anyone has experience controlling a stepper motor with TRINAMIC TMC2209?Please, I need help. I’ve just started learning STM32 and I’m currently using the STM32F411E-Discovery board. I loaded the default code provided by the Board Selector in STM32CubeIDE and was trying to get a simple LED blink working. It works fine when using the internal HSI clock, but it doesn’t seem to work when I switch to the external HSE clock. Hi,I have a STM32F103C8T6 configured to operate as an I2C slave device on I2C1. It operates as intended for 30-45 minutes before the I2C hangs indefinitely with a HAL I2C state code of 0x2A = HAL_I2C_STATE_BUSY_RX_LISTEN. In this state, further I2C transmissions won't occur but the main code loop will continue to execute without issue.I've tried restarting and resetting the I2C with the inbuilt HAL commands when in this state without success. However, whilst probing with a STLINK debugger to observe the code, merely adding a break point once the I2C is hanging (even if the break point is in a section of code that won't be triggered) will fix the issue immediately.Any pointers or ideas for fixing it would be greatly appreciated, the non-HAL I2C slave functions I used are below: extern I2C_HandleTypeDef hi2c1; uint8_t

Hi, Im new to STM32 and writing a bare metal interrupt based i2c library. For some reason addr bit clears itself automatically even though im not reading sr1 and sr2. I also have problems with debug mode, if i decide to step over the function that sets up the interrupt for I2C1_EV_IRQ it sometimes causes debugger to skip the interrupt, it happens randomly. I am trying to make a guitar loop pedal with my nucleo-l476rg board. It has 1MB of flash and I am trying to write and read from bank 2 only as it is the bank of memory I want to use for storing recorded audio. I currently have an active buffer set up between my ADC and DAC and it works well. My goal is to continue to have this active passthrough while recording and playing. It currently stays active when recording however, my DAC shuts off or I read on open circuit from my multimeter when I press the play button. I believe my issue is with either how I am writing to FLASH memory or reading from it. I am using two buffers to achieve this active passthrough while recording as one buffer stores samples while the other is being written to memory and then the buffers reverse. This buffering I believe is working properly as I've been testing which code is running with the on-board LED however i dont think memory part of my code is working. I am trying to erase a sector of the flash memory on my STM32H503RB.  I have successfully validated that I can write to the flash, but when I attempt to erase the sector that I wrote, the contents that I wrote stay the same.  I have a feeling that I am just erasing the wrong sector, but I can't seem to find where I went wrong.  I'm pretty sure that I can erase, because if I put in a deliberately wrong sector number (sector 4, which corresponds to the location of the LL drivers) the device hard faults (which is what you expect when you erase the drivers).I am trying to erase the sector starting at 0x0801_0000, which I would expect to be sector 8. (sectors are 8 kiB, correct?)  I have tried erasing sector 8 of bank 1, sector 8 of bank 2, and sector 0 of bank 2, but none of these seem to work.  Am I misinterpreting how the banks and sectors interact?Code:#define FLASH_BASE_ADDR (0x08000000UL) // FL

I now intend to reset each FDCAN instance (i.e., reset all its registers) during its respective bus-off event, and then reinitialize the instance. Resetting all registers of an instance is typically done through the corresponding FDCAN RST bit in the RCC. However, since both instances share the same RCC, triggering the reset would affect both instances simultaneously. CubeIDE reads the serial number of the V3 but can not connect to the target.- Target is supplied with VCC.- From the Board-to-Board-Connector after a lengthy search i connected TMS to SWDIO, TDI to SWO. Hi All,   I want to build a system to sense 240 low current signals at 20kSPS at the same time using 15 ADC with 16 channels each (DDC316 by Texas Instruments, Datasheet: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ddc316.pdf). I intend to use something like the NUCLEO-H723ZG to drive this system. My question is: Is it possible to use OctoSPI to connect to 8 ADCs at the same time?As far as I can see from the datasheet the sorting of the data will be wrong since the interface expects a parallel data input but maybe I am missing a setting that allows for my use case. A secondary option would be using multiplexed QuadSPI. Something like this seems to be intended for the ADC, as it features a 4-datalane communication mode.
