Hello everyone,I’m working on an embedded project where I need to receive a variable-length stream of bytes via UART on an MCU  STM32H750. The key points are:All bytes are payload, no start or stop bytes, no protocol framing.The number of bytes is undefined and variable.The byte stream starts when the MCU is ready.I need to calculate CRC (Ethernet CRC32) over all received bytes.After receiving all data, I must output the CRC via UART.The UART baud rate is very high (greater than 900,000 baud).My current approach:I use UART interrupts to receive bytes one by one.I update the CRC continuously with every received byte inside the interrupt handler.This works fine for small data, and CRC calculation seems correct.

Tried to erase , recently i keep getting this error , when attempting to erase through IDE even though not successful , after several tries it programs.

Hi everyone,   I'm working on a project using the STM32U5G9 microcontroller and trying to interface it with a Macronix MX35LF1G24AD NAND flash via the OctoSPI peripheral. The goal is to enable memory-mapped mode so the external flash can be accessed as part of the MCU's address space. However, I'm facing some challenges and would appreciate any insights or examples from the community. Here are my main questions: Is the MX35LF1G24AD NAND flash compatible with OctoSPI memory-mapped mode on the STM32U5G9? Most examples I’ve found are for NOR flash, and I’m unsure if NAND is fully supported in this mode. Tell me about multibuffer communication in the registers of the UART. We have a description of the RXNE flag. "The RXNE flag can also be cleared by writing a zero to it. This clearing sequence is recommended only for multibuffer communication". It turns out that when using DMA, you can reset RXNE this way. But why? After all, DMA does this automatically during operation.Edited to add 'F4' and 'DMA' Labels.

I find that I need to enable the APB clock to the RTC during sleep (i.e. by setting the RTCAPBSMEN bit in the RCC APBSMENR1 register) otherwise my code won’t wake after calling __WFI(); is the AI explanation below correct? I have successfully completed using STM32N6 in LRUN mode and got the proper result and now I want to use Execute in place mode so please provide with all its related documents and videos.When I try to run appli code in DEV mode it does not run, it displays "Target is not responding, retrying..." and also when i try to use xspi clock to 200MHz and main clock to 800MHz even FSBL shows the same error.

Dear sir,In our custom board, we are using the STM32H747XIH6 microcontroller with Wi-Fi functionality. The Wi-Fi module part number is LBEE5KL1DX-883, and it is connected via the SDIO interface.We have properly configured the I/O pins in STM32CubeMX and generated the code. HiI use CPU pin 6 as ADC input ADC_IN12. I take measurements every 100us and save them to buffer[100] via DMA.I have a 1M+10k resistor divider connected to ground to the ADC input.I measure a rectified sine wave signal within 0..2V.To my surprise, after a few minutes of measurement, the signal increased by about 400mV and it should go down to zero. It turned out that an internal pull-up was created in the CPU on pin 6 and even 10k to ground is not able to lower it to zero.Connecting a milliammeter to ground gives about 0.7mA. I thought the program was to responisble for this situatiuon, but I made a test program in which the pin is only an input and the pull-up is permanent.After replacing the CPU, the problem disappears and appears after another few minutes.I checked it on 4 pieces. Hello,I have got an STM32U5G9J-DK1 and I want to use its VBAT pin which has been connected to the signal VDD_MCU, which is internal to the board, via solder bridge SB29. As far as my understanding of the data sheet goes, the VBAT pin is supposed to be fed with 1.8 V. So, I was thinking to remove the solder bridge and connect an appropriate battery for this operation. Hi  I am facing one issue I am trying to run Timer2 and as soon I have enable the by setting CR1 register bit CEN, My all flags in SR is getting set even I have enabled only(UIE) so my UIF flag bit in SR register must set but it is setting all (CC4IF CC3IF CC2IF CC1IF) . iam working on stm32h7a3zi controller in that datasheet they mentioned up to 164 I/O pins capable of 5V tolerant but they didn,t mentioned about which pins are capable of 5v tolerant

When I program my STM32WLE5  using STM32CubeProgrammer and UART, a simple push on the reset button does not reset the MCU.I always need to power-cycle it.Why is the reset-pin not working, or why does it not start the application ? Is there a way to configure the option bytes to solve this ? More info : I am doing this on a custom board, which has a USB-UART (CP2102N). Whenever the device comes out of reset, I check for the USB voltage, and if present, I jump to the bootloader.After programming I remove the USB and reset the device again which should start the application. But until now this second reset does not work and I need to powercycle the MCU.

Dear ST, Will you be releasing a variant of the H5 with both USB HS support and hexadeca/hspi/xspi support?It seems confusing that your U5 series supports this but your higher speed more performance range doesn't. Thanks.

As given on datasheet this microcontroller can support 10/100 Base T Ethernet. Is there any probability that this microcontroller supports Gigabit Ethernet and if yes, please provide the recommended circuitry for the same.

Hi everyone,I'm working with the STM32F030 and recently ran into a hardware limitation that I unfortunately discovered only after designing my custom PCB:I'm using PA4 (TIM14_CH1) to control an LED driver (like SM16126 or WS2812), but just realized that TIM14 has no DMA support on this MCU.So now I'm trying to find a workaround to still achieve DMA-controlled PWM output on PA4 without redesigning the PCB.🧠 My current idea:Since TIM14 can still generate PWM on PA4, I thought of using another timer (e.g. TIM2) as a DMA trigger source to regularly write new values into TIM14->CCR1, changing the PWM duty cycle every 1.25 µs (or whatever timing is required).So the setup would be:TIM14 is configured for standard PWM output on PA4TIM2 runs at e.g. 800

I have on my desk an STM32F407 Discovery board and an STM32U083 Nucleo board.  My intent is to write software for the F407 to bootload the U083 via I2C.  As far as I can tell, these are the general steps:Drive BOOT0 high and pulse the NRST pin on the U083 to enter the bootloader.Send appropriate erase/write/read commands to reprogram flash.Drive BOOT0 low and pulse the NRST pin to have the U083 boot from flash.Problem is, I can't even seem to do step 1.  I have a logic analyzer verifying NRST and BOOT0 at the U083 chip, but regardless of the state of BOOT0, if I reset the U083, it boots from flash (i.e. I see my debug output on the UART).Looking at RM0503, section 2.5 Boot configuration, Table 6 Boot modes, there are two ways to boot into system memory.  Summarizing the table's logic conditions:BOOT_LOCK bit must be 0.nBOOT1 bit must be 1.If nBOOT_SEL bit is 0, BOOT0 pin must be 1.

Hello, I have a custom board wich is based on the evspin32g4-dual Board. I generated the code with motorcontrol work bench and could upload it with a j-link. I added an uart output in the startup and noticed that it kept printing it, so the board was constantly resetting. When I stepped through the code the problem was in HAL_Delay, as the HAL_GetTick() function always returned the same value, thus not leaving the function. Could there be an error with the external Crystal? I am using a ECS-240-8-37-CKM-TR with 8pF caps.Thanks!
