on H743 board (DevEboard) I2S1 (master 16b 44k1) -> ES9038 DAC (I2S slave) : DAC playing music fine, ok. now switching DAC to I2S master , H743 to slave transmitter mode : no data / silence.test with DSO : pin PA7 (SDO) is tri state now! thats WRONG !!!!looking in ds/manual , see, maybe change SDi/SDO pins, when change master -> slave mode....so i try: set in cubeIDE pin PA6 (i2S SDI ) manual to SDI ("no mode" , "yellow" ( pin in cube) = warning);compile...run : DAC playing, so data coming from "inactive" and "no mode" pin, but from ("green": pin in cube) SDO nothing coming.i think, this is obvious error in cube; missing the IOSWAP in SPI_CFG2 to set or wrong setting preset.to proof , i add pinswap in HAL_I2S.c driver / init slave mode:

Hello community ,I am newby trying to do a small project  with STM nucleoh563zi  and stumble upon following brickwall .I need to interface an Incremental encoder that produces 1000pulses per rotation and simply print it to com port  and i searched  as many resources as i could and all of them are pointing / deal with encoders with less pulses such as ky-040  and i tried to replicate and failed all the time .could you please help me by suggesting me any  resource that can help an absolute beginner to learn to work with encoders with high number of pulses per rotation , any road map or suggestion , or simply a step by step guide would help me out a lot 

OK, this is perhaps a fairly stupid question but I do not get it.I have an analogue voltage in range -5V..+5V and wantto measure it with the ADC of an STM32F446. The ADC-input works in range 0..3.3V.I have the feeling I can do that with a simple, resistor-based voltage divider that pulls down the 10V effective of the input value to the 3.3V the ADC expects.But...how has ti voltage divider to look like when going with +-5V, means when it starts at -5V?

I'm working on recording audio synchronously using multiple I2S microphones connected to different SAI subblocks on an STM32H7. I’m trying to synchronize all four SAI subblocks to ensure aligned multi-channel audio capture.So far, I've successfully configured SAI1:SAI1_Block_A as Master RX (Asynchronous)SAI1_Block_B as Slave RX (Synchronous to same SAI). This internal synchronization works fine, and both DMA callbacks are triggered as expected.However, when I configure SAI2_Block_A as a Synchronous Slave to SAI1, I encounter an issue:The DMA for SAI2_Block_A never completes (no callback, no data).But I can still see Data signals on the logic analyzer, coming in from the mic.I’ve double-checked the physical wiring — BCLK and WS from the master are properly

Hi All, We all know how hard it often is to track down the cause of hard faults, particularly random or intermittent ones when the debugger isn't connected and particularly when using freeRTOS in a complex system with many tasks, timers and queues.  To assist I have written a hard fault handler that provides printed output of all the mcu and if used, floating point registers, special registers and the freeRTOS task that was running when the hard fault occurred.  It also provides memory ranges to check for program counter, link register and stack addresses to check whether an address used is definitely invalid. I have checked it on a range of fault types and it seems to work OK. I'm not an ARM assembler expert, my assembler knowledge is quite limited, so I would appreciate it if the assembler/mcu experts could critique it and suggest fixes and mod's. I am using STM32H747-DISCO board for development, and I try to access for MDIOs connectivity of the STM32H747, I found a document describe about MDIO:STM32H7-Peripheral-Management data Input Output slave interface (MDIOS)From the document it describes like the STM32H7 MDIO can go up to 16bits, can it go beyond that and modify it to read/write 32bit data?If this model cannot support 32bit MDIO, does any other STM32 IC support 32bit MDIO?

hi, im using stm32g474vet6 mcu for power converter. when the supply is turned on initially first time, controller is behaving like hang or stuck somewhere. if i do a pushbutton reset, the mcu starts working fine. after that no issue. whenever im turning off and on the power supply, that time controller is not responding or hanging.what to do for this. since nrst pin not pulled down or pull up. only boot pin is pulled down with 10kohms. i think in debugging mode, controller will alive only, this problem will not come. initially some code issue or init issue or configuration issue if there also, but after the reset mcu starts working finely.so what happens with the initial supply on time. since i have changed power supplies also. after changing the power supply, if i turn off and on(POR) , during that time also hanging is happening.whenever main supply turn off and on this probelm is coming one time, after push button reset only mcu starts working fine

I am trying to get 800KHz frequency with Timer 3 and timer clock is 64MHz and i am using below setting to initalize the timer, but its frequency is 666.66KHz. Hi,I created custom board using STM32C071CBT6 MCU and using USB port in device only mode. I have connected VBuS sensing through potential divider circuit to GPIO PA10 of my controller. My device is self powered. I read some USB related articles from STMicro for other controllers and noticed that for self powered devices VBus sensing is mandatory and should be connected to PA9 as this pin has internal functionality of VBus sensing.In my configuration I have disabled VBus sensing. However, my device is getting detected by host.Do I have to enable VBus sensing as my device is self powered? If yes, then how it will impact functionality?Should it be connected to PA9 for STM32C0xx also? Can I use PA10 with some code modifications, as my hardware is already developed?I checked datasheet and reference manual of this MCU and could not find any reference of VBuS sensing through PA9.Thanks,Pradeep

hi guys,I am experiencing an issue related to the "devnonce is too small" error. When I attempt to switch end nodes in the TTN network, I change the end node network keys (such as Join EUI, Dev EUI, and App Key) through USART. I stop the LoRa MAC, deinitialize it, and then start it again with the new end node network keys. However, I encounter the "devnonce is too small" error during this process.

Hello! I'm creating my own board based on the STM32H745I-DISCO board. I want to use the LQFP208 package of the STM32H745, which has fewer pins than the original package of the DISCO board. I need to connect Ethernet, a display, and QSPI, among other peripherals. I've encountered a conflict where the LCD_DE pin connects to PF10, which is also used by the QSPI_CLK pin. I saw that QSPI_CLK is also available on PB2. However, PB2 is occupied by MII_TX_ERR/nINT.My question arises when I notice that this pin is not defined in the Ethernet configuration in MXCube (I'm new to the CubeIDE environment and ST's frameworks, and I'm worried I might be missing something). In fact, I disconnected this pin between the Ethernet driver and the STM32H745, and communication with a test server still works. So my question is: Is it really a good idea to leave the MIIMII_TX_ERR/nINT pin unconn

hello,everyone!Recently, I found a strange problem when using STM32H723's bootloader to download programs through uart.When I tried to read out the 256 bytes I wrote and compared them, I found that the first 32 bytes were 0xff and the data after that was correct. After confirmation, these 32 bytes were indeed not written into flash, I don't know why? 

Hello, I have encountered a similar problem to the one in this link .I am also trying to use the UCPD Monitor to send message. For example, I request a new voltage from the source using the "Request Power Profile" message from the "Message Selector" , and I always get "Message rejected for this port configuration". After some investigations ,I find out that the USBPD_PE_Send_Request() function in the  USBPD_DPM_RequestMessageRequest() function is not working. It returns USBPD_OK the first time I use this function to request another fixed voltage PDO(9V)，but actually it is not working. And when I use it again , it returns USBPD_BUSY. Besides, if I request the APDO, it returns USBPD_ERROR.

Hello,  Does someone have information, project, whatever that can help me understand how do the Queues and Nodes work and interact with each other?  My STM32 has two ADCs, ADC1 & ADC4, and i want to trigger both of them to read values comming from multiple potentiomenters with a timer configured in output compare mode.  The problem is that i have to configure a linkedlist with a Queue and a Node and if i configure two nodes the values of the ADCs seen through the live expression get stuck at 0. Any help is welcomed ...  

Hi team,I am using STM32G0B1 for my project development were I use PA4 as a ADC_IN in analog mode and using RTC for date and time setting, though I am not using(/set) RTC_OUT but  1 Hz RTC calibration output getting activated at power on or at rebbot. To fix this issue I explicitly calling the “HAL_RTCEx_DeactivateCalibrationOutPut(&hrtc)” in main.c this fix the issue.What is the expected fix of this issue? why its occuring ? does the place/time of calling that API matters?

I'm generating external interrupts on an WeActStudio STM32F446RET6 board. I've the pins configured as pull-up. When I set one of them to GND, several random interrupts from other pins are generated.
