I am trying to upload the code to my target STM32F407 but below error is showing up. I tried some of suggestions but problem is still there. I'm using STM32H743VGT6 QSPI drive an AMOLED screen. AMOLED read sequence need IO0 line send and receive data.(Picture 1) But I checked the H743 Reference manual, it says in the single mode, IO0 just output, not input.(Picture 2) How do I fix to make sure the IO0 data received?

Hi, there; I am migrating the DCMI from stm32h743 to stm32u575, on the stm32h743 chip, I can make the dcmi work perfectly, but on the stm32u575 chip, I cannot make the DCMI work, neither the GPDMA for DCMI. Anyone met the same issues? When I use usbuser to power the Nucleo-H563ZI board, I have add jumper in the usbuser at JP2.Then ld5 and ld7 light up, but the mcu firmware doesn't start properly. I need to add jumper in the CHGR at JP2 then the mcu firmware can start. According to the manual, isn't it only necessary to jumper the usbuser, why is this happening? 

Hello,I am running into a weird behavior where EE_ReadVariable32bits call in EEPROM EMULATION library fails when optimization is turned on with Os setting. With Os setting it works only once after full chip erase and fails to read (resets) after any subsequent resets. With O0 (no optimization) it seems to work just fine.I am using STM32H562 with STM32 Cube IDE.Any idea how i can debug this issue? Thank You,NC

Hi everyone, I’ve been following the official ST guide for setting up USB Power Delivery (PD) Sink on an STM32 device, as outlined here: Getting started with USB-Power Delivery Sink. I successfully compiled and flashed the firmware onto my NUCLEO-G071RB board. When I tried connecting my setup (NUCLEO-G071RB + X-NUCLEO-SNK1M1) to an external monitor via USB-C to test the power delivery negotiation, I encountered an issue: `ERROR with Trace_Notif :78`.The issue can be caught when debugging using STM32CubeMonitor-UCPD.I've attached the whole trace.Kind regards,Vlado

Hi ,I am using STM32G4 to receive USART data from external interface and USART buffer overrun when USART interrupt conflicts with Flash Erase operation. As mentioned in STM32G4 Reference manual , in single bank mode, any read operation while writing/erasing flash stalls the bus until current flash operation is complete. To mitigate this performed following,Moved ISR handler and subroutines invoked inside ISR to SRAMMoved Interrupt Vector table to SRAM     After all these changes , USART buffer still overruns when it conflicts with Flash erase operationRequest you to share your views.Regards,Hareesha

For my project I am using the LPUART on an STM32U545 and 585, currently I am using the normal GPDMA and this works like a charm in normal run mode. However I want to be in STOP1 and receive UART communication. As per the reference manual the GPDMA is active when clocked. But when I clock the DMA in stop it still does not work and I get overrun issues.When changing to the LPDMA with the same settings I get no data whatsoever.DMA settings:

Hello,After some investigation was found that memset has different behavior executed from different places in flash. Data and instruction cache are off! Micro used is stm32h743xi.Function is called with following arguments --> memset(dummy, 0, 64)Its execution time is ~5us when function is placed at:..., 0x8040c34, 0x8040c54, 0x8040c74, ...Its execution time is ~1us when function is placed at:..., 0x8040c3c, 0x8040c44, 0x8040c4c , 0x8040c5c, 0x8040c64, 0x8040c6c ...Any ideas?Thanks

Hi,I'm aware of the BOOT0 pin which is available on most STM32 MCUs and allows to select the device being booted from Flash.Now my problem is, once shipped to an end user, this flash can't be updated easily. So it would be better to have a more simple possibility to update this firmware. In my setup, there is an other micro-controller available which commands and controls that STM32 MCU. No my idea is, to load the STM32-program from this controller to the RAM of the STM32 MCU and then start this dynamically loaded firmware.So...is this possible? Can I download some code to an STM32 MCU and then start it via some internal boot-selection.-function?  Or do I have to do some hacks for my own?Any ideas and suggestions are welcome :)Thanks!

There is no external display controller – the STM32 is driving the display directly.ProblemThe display works and renders correctly using custom drivers, but the refresh/update speed is very slow, especially when trying to render large bitmaps or full-screen updates. This is the output from an UPS inverter. they are driving signals of four mosfets of H-Bridge. I can generate same signals using stm32f103 advanced motor conotrol timer(TIM1). center aligned pwm and complimentary output with maximum 20us dead time.The problem is, stm32f103 cant give more than 20us dead time. But i need 100us for my project.Is there any other way to generate these signals ?Thanks

Hi, I would like to use the MDMA with the QSPI on an STM32H743 or similar.I need to use the QSPI to interface with several multiplexed LCD displays and I want to use the QSPI in 'indirect' mode to send commands to the displays and DMA the pixel data into the QSPI to transfer to the display.I am a bit confused about how the MDMA is supposed to work - the reference manual says that QSPI can trigger the MDMA when the QSPI data FIFO reaches a threshold.So I think I would use MDMA in 'buffer' transfer with TRGM = 00 - so each trigger from the QSPI transfers a buffers worth of data (to fill the QPSI FIFO), then configure the MDMA channel to run in 'block repeat' mode to transfer a whole frame buffer's worth of data (about 285 kB)Am I thinking along the right lines here? Good morning, I have been trying to make simple characters appear on the 16x2 character LCD display for a while now and I am using a U575ZI-Q core board. I have followed many tutorials but none of them have allowed me to display a simple line of text on the display.I would like to point out that with the Arduino board I have no difficulty displaying simple characters like hello word, but with this board I can't. I am using two libraries in a row and the following code in the main.c file. Could you help me? However, it seems always not able to enter sleep mode (standby mode tested, same story). Its a simple program, all peripherals and clock are remain in reset state. I'm on STM32F103CBT6.I have a TI DAC8564 on SPI2.  It has a 24-bit input register, requiring me to TX a pair of 16-bit values (extra 8 low bits are ignored) while SYNC is low.  After sending, I have to toggle SYNC high and then low to begin a new write cycle.I want to perform this write sequence (TX 16-bit value, TX 16-bit value, SYNC high, SYNC low) using DMA, ideally all synchronized by a single timer (currently TIM2).  The timer will run at 160kHz and send a DAC buffer consisting of 64 samples of 40kHz audio for each of 4 channels, each sample being a 16-bit pair.I've had success using DMA to send the SYNC high/low to GPIO at defined phases of the timer cycle.  I'm now looking at using DMA to write the pair of 16-bit values at two other phases of TIM2.  RM0008 lists TIM2_CH2 and TIM2_CH4 as available requests for DMA1_Channel7.  Can a single DMA channel receive requests from two different channels of

I don’t understand the behavior of the _C ports. According to the datasheet, the pin type for PA0_C is listed as ANA (analog input only). However, I can configure it as an output and successfully generate a square wave by toggling it in a loop.Given that, it seems the pin does have an output driver, but I can't get TIM5_CH1 to generate PWM on this pin. (Note: The same configuration works perfectly on TIM5_CH2, so it’s not a configuration issue.)Additionally, when I configure PA0 as an ADC input, PA0_C no longer works as an output, only when PA0 is in reset state (not configured)This behavior is confusing because it contradicts the pin type listed as ANA in the datasheet, and it’s not clearly explained how these _C pins should behave. Could someone clarify what can or cannot be done with the _C pins and why this behavior occurs?The IC is an STM32H743XI (TFBGA 240+25).
