Cannot build X-CUBE-SPN2 in CubeIDE

Hi All,  

I am trying to import the X-CUBE-SPN2 in CubeIDE, I have followed all the correct steps and am importing the project through the filesystem. However, when I try to build the project I constantly keep getting an error stating that:

An internal error occurred during:

"Build Project".java.lang.NullPointerException.

The .cproject files in this x-cube package for SW4STM32 seem to be corrupt. SW4STM32 apparently still is able to read it. But CubeIDE cannot. Has been bug reporter to SPN2 team.
