Cube IDE not showing the login name after successful login

Hi,

I have latest version of STM32CubeIDE software . After I logged into the tool, it does not show the user name as it was in previous versions. When I try to login using help -> STM32Cube update -> connect to myST, it says, it will  display message "Clear myST account information for this session" if I have already logged in, else it ask for use id and password. I tried with wrong password to see if it checks, I get a failure notice. If I use the correct password, the login window disappears, signalling that my login is correct

Thank you for reporting this.
Actually, this is a normal behavior since the previous version of STM32CubeIDE, and it has no effect on the user authentication.

Ok thanks forthe clarification, it make sense except that one is not sure whether logged in or not. Do not understand why to hide that information.
