CubeIDE CubeMX UI unusual

Hello,

When I launch CubeMX from the CubeIDE via New Project the UI of CubeMX appears unusual. The sidebars are "Windows XP style" and there are other graphical anomalies. When I launch CubeMX from VScode the UI appears normal. The two screenshots I posted show the differences. I am wondering if maybe there is some setting in CubeIDE that may have caused this.

Hello @Armadillo and welcome to the ST Community.

this is a known limitation mentioned on the STM32CubeIDE V1.18.x errata wiki. After updating the STM32CubeIDE from some versions to the patch 1.18.1 using the update site updater, the GUI of the integrated STM32CubeFinder and STM32CubeMX are the images of the old UI tools.

Workaround: reinstall STM32CubeIDE from the installer on st.com.
