Question

CubeIDE opens random files on debug start / end

Since a while - I guess since update 1.8 or something - CubeIDE opens random project *.c-files, when the debug process is started or stopped.

In this example only main.c was open. When I clicked on "debug", "startup_stm32_g473vetx.s" was openend, and when I stopped the debug session, "stm32g4xx_hal_spi.c" was opened.

This is pretty annoying, because you have to close them manually or your edit window will fill up with open files, you do not want to have open.

Please fix that.

This has to be the most annoying and time wasting bug in CubeIDE. @mattias norlander any updates?

See explanation here:

Hi

https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/STM32CubeIDE:STM32CubeIDE_errata_1.13.x says that the issue ID 139768 is solved.

But this is lie. They may testet it at the first run, but not at a seconde one.
