How do i revert the IDE? Version 2.0.0 doesn't have the ability to create a project from a board

I recently upgraded my IDE to version 2.0.  I cannot start a project from the board view; where you select the board type and configure the settings.  It would then create the c++ project code for you.  The new version doesn't have anything to help you select the board and it cannot even open up the board configuration editor when you click on the .ioc file.  Is there. a way to revert back to the previous editor version - I think it was version 1.x.18?

Uninstall that version, download the previous version and install it.

STM32CubeIDE | Software - STMicroelectronics

Or use STM32CubeMX in standalone mode as intended.
