Hi,

After CubeMX auto-code generation, CubeIDE shows message: " project XXX is part of hierarchical structure. Would you like to import entire project structure? Yes/NO?  "

if I choose "Yes", a sub-directory will be created inside my project which is not desirable. How to fix it?

Ensure that the project is not generated inside another project and try to change the path of your project to another directory.

I had to check "Generate under root" checkbox in Project Manager". I did not, which wasted me 3 days to deal with many troubles caused by the simply clicking the checkbox. It should be defaulted to  "Generate under root"
