.project missing from projects created on other computers

Hello,

I have previously used a single workspace for developing project in STM32CubeIde on two seperate computers. When I updated to 1.16.0, I can no longer access projects in the workspace when they have been created on the other computer. I get the message:

SHDK2000_0-1723818131600.png

The file is obviously there:

SHDK2000_1-1723818181882.png

But I can only open the project on the computer that created the project. This was not a problem when I used version 1.13.0.

I use STM32CubeIde revision 1.16.0 running on Windows (10/11) and the workspace is located in a dropbox folder.

Any explanation why this doesnt work in newer versions of STM32CubeIde?

-S

So the .project file is visible in explorer. Can you open it with a text editor (notepad)?

Can you create a new workspace and import this project, without moving?
