STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0 Problem migrating OCTOSPI2 (STM32H730) from 1.18.1

I have a ioc file created with Version 1.18.1, that enables only the OCTOSPI2 (and some RCC and clock settings).

Importing this file (see attachmend) the OCTOSPI2 gets disabled, further more it is non longer possibile to re-enable it as QUAD-SPI!

If added with out migration the IOC it is working as before.

The problem seems to be resolved in STM32CubeMX 6.16.0 (together with STM32CubeIDE 2.0.2).

Hello,

I've got the same issue here with an STM32H7A3. I need to enable the Quad configuration because otherwise proper codegen with FileX/LevelX will not work.

Any idea when it will be fixed?

I decided to stay on the version 1.18.1 for the momento.

I am having the same issue with a fresh STM32H23VETx project (CubeMX 6.15.0):

Hi @Mahmoud Ben Romdhane ,

Has this issue been resolved. I am trying to use the quadspi in my project.

Thanks

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Also facing this issue with STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0 and am wondering if there's an update on this. I'd like to be able to use CubeMX code generation for this as opposed to manually configuring it. If not, did any of you find workarounds?
