X-NUCLEO-LPM01A: Set sampling frequency standalone mode

Hello,

can we change the sampling frequency on standalone mode for the X-NUCLEO-LPM01A without using any computer?

If I understand right, by default the sampling frequency is 100Hz, and I would like to increase it to 10khZ.

David

Hello David,

In standalone mode, the raw sampling frequency is fixed to maximum: 3.2Msamples/sec (this high frequency allows to catch short current peaks), then current is averaged: this is the configurable setting of integration time of few seconds.

In mode connected to computer, the raw sampling frequency is the same, the configurable setting of acquisition frequency is a subset of this frequency (averaged at 100kSamples/sec, then samples picked up).

Best regards

Philippe
