Error unable to read device id from rom table

Hello every people. 

I am new member. We have issue . We have one computer ( PC ) , it is working normaly, but when we setup for other devices , SMT32cube programmer not working.  Plz caution  , one PC working normaly, we received from custommer. New device although we setting , they are not working.

They show error :

Error unable to read device id from rom table

Error ST-LINK error DEV_CONNECT_ERR

Plz help us.

Your screenshot shows a very old firmware version V2J29S7 for your ST-LINK/V2, which suggests that you are using a clone. Please check this again. You are welcome to insert a photo of the front and back of the ST-LINK using the camera button.

That looks like an original ST-LINK/V2. Please start the firmware upgrade with the current STM32CubeProgrammer (light blue button in the middle right). After that, you should have the firmware version V2J46M33 or V2J47M34; otherwise, there is something wrong with your ST-LINK.
