Serial upload not working anymore with STM32CubeProgrammer v2.9.0!

Hi,

I'm using the serial download mode with STM32CubeProgrammer (on a Win 10 64bit system) on a custom board with a STM32F030R8T6.

Starting with last version (2.9.0) the serial download stopped to work.

If seems to work if I press the "Download" button, but if after I do a "Verify" it shows a mismatch error (and the MCU seems stuck) as shown in the attached image.

Also the "Full erase Chip" doesn't work.

 

Using the previous 2.8.0 it works perfectly. I've also checked v2.7.0 and an old v2.1.0 and all they works.

I've also tried on a Linux machine (Linux Mint 20.2) with the same behavior. The v2.9.0 doesn't work, while the previous v2.8.0 works perfectly.

So I think it is a bug inside v2.9.0.

Is this the right place to submit it?
