SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer-2.17.0.exe failed

I got this error message when trying to install the cube programmer:

This application was configured to use a bundled java runtime environment but the runtime is missing or corrrupted

I have started an jar file to see if my local jre is broken which is not the case. Is the jre taken from the jre folder besides the exe or from the system?

I am running windows 10 x64 and do have admin rights

Tried with earlier version as well. Failed also.

I have version 2.5.0 installed

I tried on my side, and I haven't any issue, please, refer to this user manual to check the requirements and follow the installation instructions: STM32CubeProgrammer software description - User manual

I had success in installing version 2.13. which we had downloaded some time ago. And I was at least able to work the WBA55 board now. But still no luck with actual versions from the web.
