STM32CubeProgrammer CLI Standalone Version

Hi to all

I just wan't to use the CLI inteface from STM32CubeProgrammer and I don't want to installl the full SMT32CubeProgrammer which is about 1.3GB.

Is there a Standalone Version from the STM32CubeProgrammer CLI?

There's not a standalone unfortunately, and STM32CubeProgrammer has grown to be a beast. We used to have the relatively lightweight ST-Link Utility, which still works for older chips.

There is the open source st-flash which mostly works but can struggle with newer hardware until development catches up.

Think those are your only options.

CubeProgrammer CLI is not just the program itself. (even with all these chubby Qt libraries). It comes with database of MCUs and external loaders. Bottom line: keep it simple, not small.
