STM32CubeProgrammer on Ubuntu: DisplayResolution

Dear All,

 

Hi, I am using STM32CubeProgrammer in Ubuntu system, but the resolution is not right. Could you please help me fix the problem? Thank you so much!

The messages are in the picture are too small to be readable, So we can not help you to interpret these messages.

Dear Bonnes,

Thank you for your reply. In fact, the font being too small is exactly the problem, I can't increase it anyway.

What do you mean by that?

That the text is too small?

Is the CubeIDE similarly affected?

And other apps?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Dear Mr. Neil,

Thanks for your replying. Because my computer screen resolution is high. But STM32CubeProgrammer cannot adapt to high resolution, the text is too small. STM32CubeIDE works well and displays very clearly like other software with system font size.

Did you start the program from the command line? Did it spew out messages there? Start from the command lien and check for missing fonts.

This changes work for Me , Preferences->STM32Cube->Divece Configuration Tool->display size-> Large.

Thanks for trying to help. The above is for STM32CubeMX. This program has an option to increase the size of the text. The STM32CubeProgrammer has no option.
