STMCubeProgrammer - Start after programming not possible with Readout Protection Level 1

I want to start the application after programming it and setting the readout protection. But when the readout protection is set to level 1 this is no longer possible. With level 0 it works as usual.

How specifically are you starting the application with STM32CubeProgrammer and what error message or undesired behavior do you get when it is "no longer possible"?

When I select <Run after programming> the application runs after programming if the readout protection is at level 0.

If the readout protection is at level 1 the application is not running after programming. The Log says " Application is running, Please Hold on..." and "Start operation achieved successfully" but it doesn`t work.
