Does LIS2DH12 support hand raising detection,thx.

Can anyone tell how can we send the sensor data from sensortile sensor kit to raspberry pi through ble. We have tried the method of pairing but it is not pairing with raspberry pi.

I download the document from your website, it shows how to rotate the coordinate, while the function it uses directly get the quaternion matrix Q which I cannot read from the board, can some one told me how to get this Q data? Attached is the document downloaded from st web.

I've used the LIS3DSH state machine to set the INT1 interrupt high when a certain acceleration threshold is exceeded. However, I'd like to use the state machine to detect a change in orientation.For example, I'd like it to set the interrupt high when the orientation of the accelerometer (when laying flat, with the Z axis pointing up) changes by a few degrees. Anyone know if this is possible?Looking at STM Application Note AN3393, it looks like the only possibility might be to use peak detection as described in section 8 of AN3393. However, I'm concerned with such a slight angle of change (a few degrees), the noise of normal vibration might be too great to properly identify an angle change that small.Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts?

HiI ​ expected & need to detect human(senior or kid) falling to ground not free falling.When I tested with the pre-built binary named "STM32CubeExpansion_MEMS1_V6.2.0\Projects\STM32F401RE-Nucleo\Applications\IKS01A2\FallDetection\BinaryFallDetection.bin" with STM32F401RE & IKS01A2 board, The free falling detection function was worked sometimes but human falling was never detected. I tried several times with various situation of falling action. I couldn't find the detect condition of human falling.your fall detection algorithm works for only free falling ?I want to make a product of senior watch solution for detecting fall and sending alarm message to pre-defined customer's family.please let me know the human falling detection work or not.Thanks

I need to know how to take the magnetic sensor data from the built in sensor in the discovery board. I'm using CubeMX to generate the basic configuration code and i'm also using HAL library for programming the MCU in Embedded C. All I need is just to read and store the sensor data into some variables.

I am trying to connect to the sensortile, but although the light turns on and off, it is impossible to connect through the mobile app. It used to work with the sensortile expansion. Is it welding problem?

Hi All, I'm trying to build a MP3 player. So, I need suggestions like which ST controller would be best for me to build a MP3 player. Also, for a head start are there any suitable development boards available, on which I can proceed with the coding part. ​requirement:1. Audio recording and playback option. 2. Play music from SD card. 3. SD card can be access via OTG. ​Basically I'll put some buttons in my device (custom made board) for the navigation and selecting an option. Later with a press of a button (specified) the Audio will start recording and getting stored in the SD card. With the help of same navigation buttons I could play all these recordings whenever I want. Regarding the LIS2DW12 and LIS2DTW12 devices, there is no published specification on the accuracy of the ADC sampling frequency in the datasheet, nor it's drift against temp and supply voltsage. Without these data the selected ODR is a guess, e.g. 400 Hz +/- ?.Does anyone have any info on this or done any measurements?Thanks.

I am using IIS2DH accelerometer for vibration analysis. As per the datasheet the Zero-g level for x and y axis is 0 while z axis measures 1g. For my application when the device is resting x and y shows zero but z shows the value which give wrong readings for vibration. Ideally it should be x=0,y=0,z=0.

HiWe are testing the LPS22HH on the MKI192V1, and we have got the pressure and the temperature. We also convert the pressure value to the height.We put the LPS22HH in the metal shell, and It is not sealed. We use air guns to heat the shell, and we find that it's very strongly influenced by temperature. When the temperature increases by 10 degrees Celsius, the height changes by 7-8 meters. Doesn't it have a temperature compensation function? Why is it so susceptible to temperature?

Hi Guys,I encountered a very strange problem and hope you can give me some suggestions!The LIS331 is adopte to measure device tilt, we assembled the PCBA in vertical positon and this means the sensor also works at vertical status. Please see the attached picture!While we do test, we found that Z-axis output value will decrease step by step. Howerver the X-axis is quite stable. please see test data above. Hello,I'm struggling with LSM6DSM readout and would like to ask for some insight. I use a custom board with 7 other I2C sensors and the LSM6DSM is the lost one I need to handle. Among them is a H3LIS331 from ST.For all of them I use the same code for read/write I2C operations and interrupt handling. So I'm quite certain that every thing is sound on the uC side of things.I'm trying to start with simple readout of both 3D sensors. I'm using application note AN4987 as a reference. I have configured the part to do 8 bit reads of Acceleration and Gyro. Using the FIFO in continuous mode with a watermark of about 1700. I am using I2C interface.First I determine the number of words in the FIFO.Read both the high and low bytes of the FIFO for the number of words -> This works fineNow I read the high byte register continuously and then the low byte register continuously (multiple sequential reads without address in between) -> This gives me weird results.What am I doing wrong ? Does anyone have any experience getting the LSM6DSO to talk to a raspberry pi via SPI. Ive setup my system with the BCM2835 library which allows to me to make a read and write function. Using an oscilloscope Ive monitored the data returning from the sensor during a simple reset_set function and the data coming back isn't what it should be as shown in the data sheet. I'm not sure how I would go about debugging this sort of issue, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Hi,My LIS3DH share SPi bus with an other component which has an internal pull-up (arround 15kOhm).When I start a communication with my LIS3DH, SO pin never be at 0V. I see drop voltage arround 0.5V, on SO pin. SI and CLK pin's level are ok.I have disable internal SO pullup on LIS3DH but how many current could be drive by SO pin ?When a try to set voltage at 0V I drive arround 300µA.Thks for your help

I can’t figure out how to work with this sensor. All documentation on it is extremely complex and incomprehensible (I have a VL53L0 sensor and a stm32f745 microcontroller. Could anyone be amazed at the quick start example, I don’t know where to start? How to connect libraries and how to get distance from VL53L0 sensor?

Trying to determine how I set an acceleration threshold when the threshold register is half the size of the acceleration vector registers.The gyro makes sense as the threshold for it is the same size as the 3 vector registers but the G sensor just doesn't make any sense at all.Also, can I only put values above a threshold into the FIFO or are all values entered into it (assuming its not in bypass mode)

I'm using the motion_fx library and it works very well but I would like to download the library iNEMOEngine_LI3 (lite version) to see how kalman filter works.
