I am using IIS2DLPC accelerometer for Angle Measurement . My Question is : Whether it is Advisible to use II2DLPC for Angle Measurement, when the IIS2DLPC is Placed on the Vibrating Object ??. Example Scenario : If a shaft( IIS2DLPC is placed on the Shaft) is Fitted inside the Car, Is it possible to Measure the Tilt Angle of the Shaft when the Car is in the Movement ??

Hello,We are looking to use the extended Kalman filter within the Matlab sensor fusion toolbox.There are some accel/gyro noise parameters required by the imufilter() function within that collection of functions. They don't appear to be commonly included within IMU data sheets in this form. We are looking to use your ISM330DLC device.The required parameters are:Variance of accelerometer signal noise in (m/s^2)^2.Variance of gyroscope signal noise in (rad/s^)^2,Variance of gyroscope offset drift in (rad/s)^2,Variance of linear acceleration noise in (m/s^2)^2,I've not seen anything resembling these descriptions or units on any accelerometer or gyro datasheets.While there are default values applied by Matlab, and it seems to work, we'd rather have something real. I don't see any way of arriving at these parameters for myself.What would these parameters

Hi Team We are using the LSM6DSL Accelerometer with Qualcomm Soc(MDM9206).They both are connected over i2c.Now we want to generate an interrupt from LSM6DSL and wake up my Soc from power save mode.So the issue is that we need Interrupt(Active High)minimum 16 to 20 ms for turning on the our Soc from LSM6DSL.How much maximum High state can be possible to configure.Thanks

Hi I am working with LIS2DH12 accelerometer. I want to read and calibrate the raw x,y,z axis data. For the scale level 2g, 4g, 8g, I am getting the accurate readings(At stable position, Z is 1g for above scale levels). I am interfacing lis2de12 sensor with TI-CC2650 via SPI. When am trying to read the WO_AM_I register, it is returning 255 value when 0X33 is the expected value according to the datasheet. I have analyzed the protocol using analyzer and things seem to be fine there.Below is the image showing data sent to be 143 i.e. 0X8F in order to read the contents from the WHO_AM_ register. Data received from the master is 255.

Hi.I am trying to communicate with MPU6050 through I2C protocol. Hi there,I'm tring to use the lsm9ds1 with all three sensors. Because polling is too comutational expensive I want to use interrupts. Hi, I am using IIS328DQ with SPI communication. When I Check register WHO_AM_I, it was return 0x64. It is wrong because in datasheet it mention must be 0x32. So what is the solution?Thanks​

Hello,I'm just looking at the CS pin operation of ISM330DLC and other ST mems sensors. It seems the when (CS=1) its in I2C mode. When (CS=0) its in SPI mode.Where I'm using multiple devices on an SPI channel with a sepearate CS for each device, what will stop the ISM330DLC operating in I2C mode with the SPI lines while it's not selected???Is there something futher to this? Does the device enter SPI mode from the first (CS=0) and remain that way afterwards. One of the Bosch devices works like that.Is it necessary to have a dedicated SPI channel for this device? I note the IIS2MDC appears to work in the same way.Regards,

Hi - I intend to use the LSM6DSO chip in I2C mode. Can you let me know if the CS pin can directly be pulled to VDD or needs resistor to VDD? IF so what may be recommended value/

Understanding that the temperature sensor on the LIS3DH provides a relative value rather than absolute... Is it possible to calibrate this value for an individual sensor against a known measured temperature and then use the relative changing value to calculate changes that would persist through multiple reset cycles? Might this value drift over time and lose accuracy from the calibration or will it stay relatively accurate, say within 1 or 2C?Thanks!

Hello eveyone, I used LSM6DS3 mems that I would like to get quaternion data, without MAGNETIC. Can I use MotionEC_Run function and without MAGNETIC?And then, I try to run MotionEC_Run(&data_in, &data_out) function under the STM32CubeExpansion_MEMS1_V6.1.0\Projects\STM32L476RG-Nucleo\Applications\IKS01A3\ECompass example code, but I cannot get any vaule from this function. However, I try to fill zero value in MAGNETIC functions, but I also cannot get any value. So, I don't know how to solve it because this example had already be included a library.

Who knows where can get LSM9DS1 Library for STM32?I ever find the X-CUBE-MEMS Library, but I didn't find LSM9DS1 library. And then, If it can use, but its magnetometer different to X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3of LIS2MDL. How should modify by its library?

Hi dear members, I am trying to understand complete how to drive bldc motor.And I would like to use hall interface in stm32.how can I manage to read commutation using hall sensors which registers I couldn't find it in reference manuel.And also how can I configure prescaler if motor is low speed because datasheet say "Program the time base: write the TIMx_ARR to the max value (the counter must be cleared by the TI1 change. Set the prescaler to get a maximum counter period longer than the time between 2 changes on the sensors" set the prescaler is hard like that

If 1-layer PCB is used for LPS22 or LPS25, the pin 3 connection to GND requires some complication of the PCB.Is this pin 3 really connected to some internal circuit and must be connected to GND or it may stay unconnected?At least, when pin 3 is unconnected, the measured pressure stays the same as when pin 3 is connected to GND.
