hello everyone,I am trying to create an interrupt using LSM6DSO wake-up source with slope filter above a certain threshold.the problem is that right now I get an interrupt if the accelerometer exceed the threshold at any axis x,y,z.I want the LSM6DSO interrupt to trigger my esp32 only when it exceed at a specific axis, is there a way I can do it?thanks.

Did anyone have success configuring the LSM6DSL to use FIFO and threshold to trigger the interrupt pin?

I just started working with the Sensotile box (STEVAL-MKSBOX1V1). I managed to upload the datalogger binary to the module (from the FP-SNS-STBOX1 function pack) and configured the sensors to acquire data via Unicleo GUI.Now I want to use a python script for the configuration of the sensors via USB cable instead of using Unicleo GUI. 1 - Can someone share if it's possible to acquire accelerometer data from the module in high-performance mode with high sensitivity? 2- Is it possible to acquire data at high performance over bluetooth?3- Is there any existing function pack that supports the functionality with python-like  FP-SNS-DATALOG1 does it for STWIN? Any information on this will be very helpful. Thanks

Hi.I'm currently working on an application where I have a lis2dh12 accelerometer sharing an i2c bus with another sensor. These sensors need to be turned off by cutting off the power on the Vdd line. I'm running into issues with communicating with the other sensor while the accelerometer is off, so I'm curious to know how the i2c pins of the accelerometer behave while the sensor is off. More specifically, I'd like to know if the internal pull up of the sensor could affect the i2c line while the sensor is off (is the pull up active while the sensor is off?).Is there a publicly available electrical diagram of the sensor? Something that has more information than the block diagram included in the datasheet.

I am interested in calibrating precisely the delay introduced by the filter chain (LPF1 and/or LPF2) of the LSMDSOX (or DSO/DSM - I presume they are the same). I have found the settling times in Table 13 of App Note AN-5272, which is a good start, but is there more information available on the actual transfer functions of LPF1 and LPF2?Can the self-test be used as a clean step function on the input, as a way to characterize the overall transfer function? The AN-5272 App Note suggests to wait 100 ms for a stable output, but it is not clear whether this is due to the settling time of the filters, or if it is imposed by some other stabilization of the self-test circuitry itself.Thanks in advance,Best regards,Laurent

I intend to use IIS3DWB accelerometer for machine vibration monitoring. In order to offset DC I intend to use HP filter ODR/800 which gives me high pass cutoff 33Hz. I wonder how to capture frequencies for a range below 33.3Hz (equipment running at 1500rpm (25Hz)? If I don't use HP filter, there is always DC component. Is there any way to capture low running frequencies while applying HP filter too?

Hopefully someone can assist:I am using the ST EVAL-MKSBOX1V1 (aka Sensortile Box) and trying to set up the SPBTLE-1S for use with STM32duino. I tried to follow the instructions in the STM32duino pages (here: https://github.com/stm32duino/Arduino_Core_STM32/wiki/STM32duinoBLE) and put a header on the board and hooked up a ST-Link JTAG programmer, and I can talk to the flash, however the links to both the DTM_LLOnly.bin and the DTM_Full.bin firmware files are both broken. I found the BlueNRG-1 dev kit however there are a lot of different DTM[misc].bin files available, and I also don't know what is currently flashed into the MKSBOX1V1 module however I'd like to be able to flash it back to "factory" if I play with re-flashing it. I'm using a IIS328DQ on an I2C bus @400KHzEvery now and again, the part hangs up and won't talk to me.  The only way out that I've found is a power reset.Attempting to follow https://community.st.com/t5/mems-sensors/if-hang-up-i2c-interface-of-the-lis2dh/m-p/157456 I have run out an SCL with like 20 pulses (as shown below)I've tried this with and without SDA framing to no avail.  Any ideas?

Hello,I contact you because I am considering three models of MEMS microphones for an application: MP34DT05-A, IMP34DT05 and MP34DT06J.Inside the datasheet the frequency response is depicted until 10 kHz.Are these microphones suitable for an application until 20 kHz? Hi mates,Today I came with some interesting observation, I Was working with LSM6DSM sensor interface with Arduino and writing the driver code for same. I was able to achieve 4 - wire communication between Arduino and Gyro using a logic level shifter. But, I am not able to achieve same, for 3 wire. My connections for 3-wire or like this,Also I have Updated the 3-wire config register in the 70h register, I am Enabling SIM_OIS, 500dps [ FS1-0], and OIS, so I am writing 0x25 in 70h. What I am receiving is 0xFFs as the device ID, and -1 , -1 , -1 as x, y and Z value.Also when I short MOSI and MISO with 2.2k resistor, my device ID is detected as 0x80h and getting a -32640, -32640, -32640 as x, y and Z value., So , i am not sure what else i am missing here, so basically my question is , how to connect LSM6DSM in 3-wire mode. What are the units of the ISM330DLC reported values? SpecificallyOUTn_G to units of acceleration (g)?OUTn_XL to units of angular velocity (°/s)?I couldn't find this in your docs, may have missed it

Hello, I am using ST’s LSM6DSOW sensor for the Step Counting of my project that’s a Wristband. The device is worn on the user's wrist. The settings that I am using for the Pedometer are as follows:Enabling the Pedometer Algorithm: PEDO_EN = 1 Enabling the Pedometer false-positive rejection block and advanced feature block: PEDO_ADV_EN = 1Initializing the Pedometer Step Counter: STEP_DET_INIT = 1Enabling the False-positive rejection feature: FP_REJECTION_EN = 1 Configuring the Pedometer Debounce, the accepted values are 0 to 255. During the testing of different Pedometer Debounce values it has been observed that:Compared to other devices (such as Apple, Garmin, etc.), the step count shows a deviation of approximately 20%. The tests were conducted with our Wristband worn on the same hand as the other devices.Our device does not count a small number of steps (e.g. 5-10) but only registers larger movements. Is this behavior related to the Debounce setting?How

I have an LIS3DSH securely mounted to a stationary object away from any vibration. Over the course of two and a half days, I've found the readings slowly change in value. I've tried this with multiple accelerometers (all LIS3DSH) and they always show similar results of drift.Here's an example: It changed by about 0.006G on X, 0.009G on Y and .05G on Z. The graphs of change are shown below. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I created a SensorTile.box project in STM32CubeIDE in which I am receiving the acceleration data from the LSM6DSOX accelerometer. I would like to convert the data I receive from the sensor into the [mg] unit in the same way it is converted in the Data recorder app which you can download on to the SensorTile.box when using the ST BLE Sensor app. Thats why I am wondering if there is any Project code for the Data recorder app, where I could see how the calculation is performed. (I require the same kind of data because I have taught a machine learning model on data received from using the Data recorder app)I have set the accelerometer to work at 104 Hz and 4g. My current calculation of accelerometer data is based off of the code I found in the SensorTileBox-BLESensors project from the FP-SNS-STBOX1 function pack. Hello could someone explain me for the FFT LINE COMPARE that is in the ST BLE SENSOR APP for the sensortile.box what are the parameters that appear to edit? and also for the FFT COMPARE, which I understand that it will be the same and the "Name file FFT to compare" that I understand that here I can place an excel as: "output.cvs" and I guess it will compare them.My doubt is about the treshold that I understand that it will be in dB, that is to say that putting a whole number will be enough, the "number line to compare" if I do not understand what it would be, and I do not know if it is asking too much but I do not fully understand the .cvs that are sent after the bluetooth transmission, I am supposed to be recording an audio of 5kHz to see if I notice any difference in the excel but I do not see anything.

I am trying to setup UART via DMA on STM32L432 Nucleo-32 to read NMEA data from NEO 6M GPS peripheral. I am using Arduino IDE for compiling. However, when I compile I am getting a multiple definition error on void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) and void HAL_UART_ErrorCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart). I checked the underlying files and found that these procedures are also defined in uart.c ( in STM32duino files) which are not weak definitions. My question is how do I use these interrupt callback routines given the above issue. Thanks for your help.FYI I was able to setup the above microcontroller to work using polling UART without any issues. So I know that the hardware is correctly setup.

I am using LSM6DSR on I2c interface. As per datasheet when the SDO/SAO pin of the sensor is connected to ground the read/write address should be D5H/D4H but currently the read/write address is D7H/D6H. Can you please explain the reason for this? Has anyone experienced this issue before?

Can anyone confirm if temperature measurement is functional on the LSM303AGR? I have everything else up and working just fine with measurements over several weeks, but temperature just return 0x00 for Hi and Lo byte. This is the third generation LSM303 I'm working with, but first time I'm totally stuck!!!
