Hello,We are currently working on STM32C542CCT6 from the STM32C5 series and developing custom Flash and Data Flash drivers.Issue 1 – Hard Fault when accessing FLASH_SIZEWhile executing code generated by STM32Cube, the following check causes the system to enter the Hard Fault handler:if (FLASH_ADDR < (FLASH_BASE + FLASH_SIZE)) /* Main User Flash */The FLASH_SIZE macro reads the value from the device information area. Split from How to program and debug the STM32 using the Arduino IDE.Hi,I am new to this forum having just bought a Nucleo STM32G431 which I want to program using Arduino 2.3.4 on MAC OS 11.7.11. On trying to upload the simple blink example I get the error:Warning: long options not supported due to getopt from FreeBSD usage.getopt: illegal option -- aTerminating...Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 1Having read around this a little it seems that MACOS is using a BSD version of getopt which doesn't support long options. I believe the problem is in the Arduino core for STM32 MCU based boards (I have version 2.12.0 installed).  Do you know of a workaround for this? Do I need to install the GNU version of getopt and is this safe? I am not a MACOS expert. Where would I find that? 

Greetings,I have an ST32L151CCT6 part with pin PB5 connected to the DE pin on an THVD1400DR RS485 Transciever, my whole system is designed to be low power, and the MCU enters stop mode to achieve that from its side, every pin goes to analog mode. I have meassured the power consumption of my whole system when I take out the transciever and it reaches the expected 40uA.The problem:Current rises up to 11mA when I solder the transciever back, even so, I mannaged to find the exact connection with the problem, when I raise the DE Pin on the part breaking the direct connection to PB5 the higher current consumption problem dissapears.What kind of worked:Setting the PB5 pin to INPUT makes the current consumption go up to 150uA, wich is way higher than we aimed for.What I have tried so far:I tried placing a 470K resistor in series to the trasnciever and the voltage at the DE Pin went to 0.7 volts, wich shouldn't as the datasheet for the transciever states having an 2M pull down resistor. Split from: Evaluation of Encoder Signal Level Shifting Approach as that was a different issue, and has been solved.I am also working with this same issue, in my case i have a encoder operating at 24V, and signal in comparable frequency i have implemented a simple voltage divider, the circuit works just fine, but as i don't have equipment to measure the noise and also i would prefer to have galvanic separation to my MCU, so in this case is there any good suggested  level shifter or optocoupler, should i combine the both strategy of voltage divider and optocoupler or just 1 is fine (from perspective of noise and safety)?

Heyho,I have an application with an STM32H7x3, which might be talking to some other STM32 (type TBD, probably something <= G4) on another stacked PCB.This is only a control interface, so no data streaming with a minimum data rate.I am looking for the "best" interface, with that I mean "highest speed at lowest complexity".  Hardware limits:trace length max 30 cm, probably over 1 or 2 connectors max. 4 pins (+1 chip select for each participant also okay)max. 4 STM32x + STM32H7x3 on the "lines"So, I2C or SPI - or anything else ?For reliability I like the I2C's acknowledge, SPI is surely faster and has no address "overhead".Thanks in advance for your input!

Hello,I am using an STM32H753IIT6 AA184 VQ V TWN AA. It does not communicate when I connect my serial board through serial communication and try to upload a TTL file using TeraTerm. The device is not even detected. However, when I replace the chip, it starts communicating normally. This has happened with multiple units and the result is the same.We verified that there are no soldering issues—X‑ray scans showed no defects. We have also tested all voltage levels and clock signals according to the datasheet, and everything appears correct.I am concerned about what might be causing this issue.  Couldn't see a definitive answer in the datasheet - What is the source \ sink capability of a USART TX \ RTS pin?The nearest answer I could find was page 128 of DS13313 Rev 5 -"GPIOs (general purpose input/outputs) can sink or source up to ±8 mA, and sink or source up to ±20 mA"but there isn't anything specifically that mentions alternate function pin capability.Can TX and RTS pins directly source or sink an LED via a 220 Ohm resistor (that would be ~15mA each) ?I'm thinking I may have to add external drives like high side MOSFETs otherwise.Thanks.

Hi, I am working with a custom board using the STM32H757BIT and a Riverdi RVT70HSMNWC00 connected through MIPI DSI.I followed the “lv_port_riverdi_70-stm32h7” example for the CubeMX setup and for the DSI display initialization.The system runs from a 25 MHz external HSE, and I have tested the DSI clock using both the HSE and PLL2Q.HAL version: V1.12.1.The UI framework is LVGL. My issue is that the display stays completely black. When LVGL triggers the flush callback, nothing appears on the screen. The backlight PWM is working correctly: it runs at 48 kHz and currently uses a duty cycle above 90%, so the panel should be fully illuminated. Hi I'm new to the STM32 board but not to Arduino IDE. I want to use two STM32 boards (with DXV lr30 900) for LoRa communication. I'm starting with a minimal program (without LoRa), just to see how the communication works between the STM32 and the Arduino IDE's serial interface. In order to connect with Audio Weaver, the STM32747I DISCO board needs to be programmed with the Audio Weaver BSP for this board.I need to program my board to connect up with Audio Weaver.
