It also doesn’t erase after starting new debug session. Is that expected behavior? I am using STM32L476, and I downloaded X-CUBE-EEPROM software package, included it into my project and it works fine. EEPROM content is retained after NVIC_SystemReset() and after power up, which is great. But I want to start with clean EEPROM every time I flash new code or start a new debug session.In X-CUBE-EEPROM example code, in EE_Init() it calls EE_Format() if no active page is present, but it never goes there, except first time every EEPROM is initiated.I couldn’t find any way around this?Appreciate your help.

Hi all,I am using STM32F042 series mcu, and IAR as compiler.I have some #define statements in main.h which provides some setting configurations. Forexample we have different custom pcbs which have either active low or active high button. If I place #define active_high it compiles button.c source file accordingly.However, I noticed that some of my source files are built before main.c is builded. This causes my #define statements are not recognised by these source files. The simple way to solve this problem can be including main.h in each source file, but I want to learn how compiler decides order of source files which will be builded. Does anyone have any idea?Is it possible to select main.c to be builded first?Thanks in advance.

Hello ,I am working on project in which I have to write data to EEPROM using SPI.I am able to write data to eeprom successfully when I disable CPU I-Cache and D-Cache otherwise it failed.so is it necessary to disable both cache while using EEPROM or that's my mistake ?Is SPI is working on constant freqency ( in my case prescaler 13.5 ) ?I am able to write successfully to EEPROM after disable that I-Cache and D-CachePart Number : STM32F779BIEEPROM : AT25M02-SSHD-TThanks

I simply want to read A0 analog pin through terminal on Truestudio however after weeks of trying I need help. I've downloaded the "cube" package but nothing leaps out. If there's no package, what's my best bet to use as an IDE?

hi expertsi generated a project using cubemx and started programming using keil uvision 5.28 IDE and my program used RTOS after days of programming and testing I faced some unusual problems that made me think that my keil had issues and caused those problems, then I uninstalled the keil and installed a newer version ( 5.30 ) but this time I got the "keil uvision Could not open file C:\Keil_v5\ARM\RV31\Lib\RTX_CM1.LIB: No such file or directory" erro in build output and i could not find a solution by searchin the internet , I would be very thankfull if you help me !thanks for your time

I want to trace exceptions/interrupts happening in my board with STM32L4xx in TrueStudio by `SWV Exception Trace Log` and `SWV Trace Log`. I use SEGGER J-Link and In Debugger I have correctly set the interface to SWD and the Core Clock to 80 MHz. Also in the Serial Wire Viewer setting, I set the `EXETRC` and `Enable Prescaler`. HelloI can write and read to the flash, but in my opinion it should not work.Facts:STM32F205RCTFlash Size: 256 kBytesIn the "FlashProgramming Manual" there is a maximum of 11 sectors mentioned. With total 1 MByte of memory. In my case I have only 256 kBytes, so I think I only have up to sector 5 available. But when I try to write to sector 11 (0x080E 0000) it works:Does anybody know why?Thanks and best regards,Manuel

I have a routine that self-calibrates a system and returns two uint16_t values that I need to write into non-volatile memory and read at bootup. The values will only be written once during production so write time isn't important. And it needs to be possible to overwrite (erase then write) them if hardware is swapped out.I'm fairly beginner/intermediate on the software part but I understand I need to emulate some flash as EEPROM and erase full pages before writing again. I'm not entirely sure how to figure out what addresses are safe to use.Could anyone point me to a tutorial or provide some example code? Currently using HAL libraries and generating the project from STM32CubeMX. I have not implemented any "middleware" yet which is mostly what I'm stuck at so any help finding the files and moving the correct ones into my correct project directories would be super helpful.TIA

I have a little problem with external mode and I didn't know if it's nortmal or just a lack of setting from myself. I use F429 with 5.4 version and R2018bWhen I run my soft on STM32, the time is passing good (I see it with my CAN_message coming from my MCU with the good frequency).But as soon as I connect the external mode in Simulink the time become so slow (it take 20 secondes to some minutes to pass 1 second on the soft, dependind the sample time).When I cut the external mode the time become instantly good again.I tried with VCP on the STlink on nucleo board and with TTL232 on a custom board. The problem is the same exceep it's about 10 times quicker with ST link than with TTL232 cable.When I increase the soft sample time it become more slower.It's not a real problem for me if time is a little slower than I should be in external mode. But here the difference is so big and my controlled system can't work with a speed so slow.Maybe I need to change the sample time of the uart function

Greetings,I want to save a variable just before power down. There is PVD feature but it is not supported in STM32F030R8... Is there any other work around for the same ?
