Hello! Where it is possible to buy ST25 RFID tags (cards) I can not find any distributor, no such tags on aliexpress and ebay.

Hi,Im trying to interface ST25DV04K-8pin with ESP32Wroom. I have initialized I2C communication on ESP as Master. Source files for ST25DV NFC - https://github.com/stm32duino/ST25DV/tree/master/srcNFCTagInitialise is failing as it is not reading the system Information at 0x17, 0x18-0x1f. ESP - I2C driver returns error (-1). ESP is unable to write the target address to NFC chip (invalid address). Hence Read buffer is not loaded with the data from slave (NFC module)

HiI have been playing with ST25DV04k SOT8 for a while. My team is trying to use the FTM to transfer sensor data from MCU to android phones. The protocol can be summarized as phone initiates a data transfer session by writing to the mailboxMCU get the interrupt, read request, return the TLV of sensor data to be transmittedphone write ACK response to the mailbox MCU get the interrupt and read the mailboxMCU puts the first 255 bytes of dataphone Read the mailbox after 10ms (This time period is tested to be sufficient)phone write ACK response to the mailbox...................................phone Read the last piece of sensor dataThe bug comes when MCU is trying to put 255 bytes of data to the mailbox. It happens with a probability. So, I connect a logic analyzer to I2C and find out some mailbox writes are not ACKed, thus denied by ST25DV. Then I check the MB_CTRL_Dyn before sending out 255 data. Hello,I have created a board similar to the NFC03A1, and 6 different exchangeable antennas to be able to use the desired one. I matched all of the antennas to approximately impedance of 45-50 Ohms. Showcasing one here: Now I received a question on why didn't I match them to the impedance of 27 Ohms, which is stated in a datasheet to be the differential impedance. I found in the other post here, where you guys state that: The target impedance can be between 27 +0j and 50 + 0j. In that case I would be in the limits and should be no problem, my question is though...Why there could be this variety of impedances ranging from 27 to 50 ohms and what does it affect when I used higher impedance that the differential one from datasheet? Hi, I am using ST25DV04k Tag and I can see an external tool can write to my Tag over RF.I am trying to read RFA1SS, LOCK_CCFILE, LOCKFILE registers over I2C but always getting values as zeros. even if I write LOCK_CFG=1, LOCK_CCFILE=0x03, RFA1SS=0x0C, still external tool can write or erase user area 1 data. please suggest me why all my system configs are reading as zeros and why I am unable to write or change the register values to lock/block RF write?Thanks Rakesh

How to match the output of the internal power amplifier to 50OHM? The Datasheet doesn't provide the output impedance. I know the eval board provides a schematic for the matching, but i don't want to simply copy and paste. I would like to understand. Any help will be appreciated.

Hello community,I'm actually working on an NFC application using m24lr04e. I use hal_i2c_mem_read/write to read and write data to eeprom. I'm able to read and write user memory area. but for system memory i can only read it. I'm not able to change sector security status for RF, but i can read them. I don't know what might be the issue. Hi, I am building an android app to read mailbox with fastReadMailboxMessage() function. I have already had problems with that function and read somewhere on community.st that this function doesn't work and I should just use readMailboxMessage() instead. So Question 1: Does fastReadMailboxMessage() really not work on android java application? Q2: If I use readMailboxMessage() instead does it use the fast read or it's already a slower access? (slower than 53kbps)I also encountered problems with hasHostPutMsg register read through RF. After a successful mailbox read with a phone (all bytes available) hasHostPutMsg register should go back to 0 but for me it stays 1 till I reset the MB. Why could it happen like this? I send 250bytes of data through I2C once, then read with RF and HostPutMsg is still 1 I appreciate Your quick help!

Dear Sir/Madame, I am using X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 connected to our MCU (NXP Kinetis). The communication protocol used is SPI and it works well (sends and receives echo). Therefore, we would like to read a text on the smartphone in "NDEF tag emulator" mode, but in the reponses indicate that the NDEF file is not found.Our goal is to deesign an access control with an NFC reader that is accesser with a smartphone application.The commands used are extracted using the datasheet, page 78-81, D.1.5 Forum Tag Type 4A, and it works well until the commands after "Select Application" because it responds 0x6A 0x82 (file or application not found). The Select application responds 0x90 0x00 0xF1 0x00, but if I change the command to >>> CR95HFDLL_SENDRECV, 02 00 A4040007D276000085010100 28, it responds 0xF2 (I understand that the timeW is exceeded and I put the maximum value 0x60).Could you please help us to solve this situation?Thanks you and Best regards,José Manuel.-

Hello, I am using the ST25R3916 reader. looking at the schematic of the filter and matching circuit I notice that the cutoff of the filter is lower than 13.5 M. I would like to double-check the L and C of the filter : 270 nH and 680 pF , thanks

We are evaluating ST25R3911B  using the X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1 board, with our custom IMX6 system. We have tried RFAL with the nfc_poller_st25r3911 example. Initially, no tag was found. We determined that the problem was our long IRQ handling. Since we had connected the IRQ to an IO expander rather than directly to the CPU, IRQ response time was about 2 ms, and no tag was found. Apparently this is due to overlapping IRQs. After connecting IRQ directly to the CPU, IRQ response time was about 0.2 ms and tags are correctly found. Is this a known issue or limitation? Can it be solved in software/RFAL, or is it necessary to use "fast" IRQ pins?

When I set the tx power as 25 dBm in the application what would be output tolerance. What would be the output power accuracy?We understand that tolerance resolution would be the parameter to drive the step size. RegardsPrabhu

Dear Sir/Madame,I'm currently using ST25R95 for a design and I have a question from my software colleagues. Is the device capable of writing on Tags with a protected acess (by password for example)  ? We are using NFC TAGs Type 1.We would like to garantee that we can read and write the memory of the tags but without the possibility to copy what we are reading. From reading the ST25R3916 datasheet, it seems like using the MCU_CLK output as my microcontroller clock source will ultimately generate less undesirable noise and save on additional parts. My mcu and rf circuit will all be inside the antenna much like the str3911b-disco. However, I notice in the str3911b-disco design that the mcu is using an external 32 khz crystal instead and that mcu_clk is disconnected? Why didn't they use the MCU_CLK pin for this board?

Hello!I using X-CUBE NFC-6 library on X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 board in Card Emulation mode and writing on "tag" (board) 300 bytes of data and it causes hard fault during next read or write "tag". I think it's a bug in library, can you help me with that problem?Best regards, Vladimir

Hi. The only example of software that drives the ST25R3911B's capacitive sensor function I've found is the Discovery GUI. But there's evidently no source code available for the GUI. Is there any available code demonstrating the capacitive sensor Wake-up, configuration and/or use? I want to vary the capacitance measurement gain and have no idea how to begin.

I was working with the two ANT-1-6-ST25DV boards. But I could not find the schematics of these boards. Does any one have it??

I try to read tags with the configurations:Coding = FM0BLF = 640hzTari = 6,25usAnd I didn't get sucess. But when I try to read tags with the same configuration with EVAL Board I did get sucess. I don't know what is diferent, because I use the SDK 2.3.0 and I modificatied just this configurations parameters.Can you help me?

There are constrains on the dimensions of the tag antenna size. Ideal tag size for our application is roughly 25mmx50mm, however using off the shelf tags I only get close to 10cm with tags larger than 50mmx50mm or 30mmx80mm. As I'm using the ST25TV I've seen that I should tune the antenna for 23pF and hence Lant = 5.95uH. Using the eDesign tool I can play with various parameters to get this resultant inductance. However, there are many options like trace width, trace spacing and number of loops which play a part in the performance and read range of the resulting tag. Of course, tag antenna size / surface area play a significant part. Are there any rules of thumb that can help optimise for smaller size and long read range?As a
