Update: I found out that HAL_PWR_EnableWakeUpLine() must be enabled to wake up the system.The system now wakes up correctly from Stop3 mode. I am trying to measure DC output of an RF detector (AD8363) using STM32H723's ADC. The Signal that is to be measured has about 80 mV - 90 mV of high frequency noise embedded on it. Due to inaccuracies in the measurement I am probing the measurement circuitry and therefore would like to know:The 5 pF capacitance of ADC is total capacitance of the 12 or 16 capacitors inside ADC or just that of one capacitor?What is the resistance of the ADC's sample and hold switch?Is there any model of ADC Circuitry, that includes parasitic as well?What is the tracking bandwidth of the ADC?

Hi -I am trying to bring up a new design - a 3 phase forward converter, using the HRTIM to fire six gate drives.  Under normal design loads it works great, but for normal loading I have the CONT bits set for master and subs.   For light loading, I need to keep a minimum on-time, so must drop the frequency. I could reduce the resolution by using a smaller PLL multiplier (presently using x8 with a 150 MHz sysclock for a 1.2 GHz HRTIM), but that is unsatisfactory.  I tried setting different PLL multipliers for the master and the three sub timers, but found that different PLL settings precludes cross-channel event messaging, so I could not phase the three sub clocks with the master anymore.   I suspect I could use the burst mode, but have not researched that yet.The technique I am trying now is linking to TIM1 to start the master for one cycle in one-shot mode.  This gives me a proper fixed on-time burst for all six phases, but reducing TIM1 frequenc

Hi -    I have an application running a 1 kW 500VDC to 25V DC supply for a klystron filament heater.  I am using a 3 phase forward converter - each phase driven by a FET half bridge to a transformer primary returning to input mid-point.    I drive the six gate drives using six HRTIM pins.I have programmed this so that each of the gate drive pulses is turned on at a fixed time in the master cycle, and turned off by one of two things:   either a timer counter (thus setting duty cycle %) or an event connected to an internal comparator.  The comparators use an internal DAC for the -IN reference, and are pinned out to a rectified current transformer on the primary.   This then gives me both duty cycle and peak current control for continually adjusting providing regulation.What I would like is a continual running diagnostic where I can read the status from the HRTIM and determine what caused the most recent commutation off (i.e. cou

I have erased page 63 wrote data into 0x0801F800 then locked the flash and then again unlocked it erased page 63 wrote data in 0x0801F820, but the contents of 0x0801F800 is still there even after page erase. The Problem: I am flashing code to the board using an ST-Link. When running a simple LED blinking application (which uses HAL_Delay), the LED either blinks only once or gets stuck indefinitely within the HAL_Delay function. This strongly suggests an issue with the microcontroller's clock configuration or the LSE activation. Hello community,I am running in an issue with the VREFINT calibration value of the ADC.For calculation I use the __LL_ADC_CALC_VREFANALOG_VOLTAGE function from the stm32u0xx_ll_adc.h file and I'm getting wrong values.The Chip is powered with 3.3V and so I expect a reading of approx. 3300 from this function, but what I'm getting is a value of around 2993.The measured voltage at the VDDA/VREF+ pin (48-pin package) is 3.296V, the reading of the VREFINT Channel is approx. 1660.If I change the supply voltage to 3V, I get around 1820 from the VREFINT Channel.The readout of the VREFINT address (0x1FFF6EA4) is 1654 (0x0676) so point 2.1.2 of the errata sheet is not applicable.If I change the value VREFINT_CAL_VREF in stm32u0xx_ll_adc.h from 3000UL to 3300UL the return values are plausible.For me it looks like the calibration was done using 3.3V instead of 3.0V as stated in the datasheet.The marking of the controller reads likeSTM32U073CCT6CQ27C 9R ACHN 435 1M (or LM)Can anyone confirm or is th

I'm working with an STM32F411 and trying to run two I2S master-receiver interfaces (I2S1 and I2S2) at the same time, each receiving data from a pair of PDM microphones using DMA circular transfers.However, I found a very strange and extremely hard-to-debug issue:Observed abnormal behaviorWhen only one DMA is enabled, both I2S1 and I2S2 work correctly.When both I2S + DMA are enabled at the same time, the following happens:If I2S1 has no microphone connected, it correctly receives all zeros.If I2S2 does have a microphone connected, then I2S1 suddenly starts receiving non-zero data, even though no microphone is connected to I2S1.It looks like I2S1 is receiving data that actually belongs to I2S2’s DMA buffer.Sometimes the behavior changes depending on the order of calling HAL_I2S_Receive_DMA().Both DMA buffers are allocated as global arrays (4 × 512-word buffers).I also tried disabling JTAG on PA15 (I2S1_WS), but the issue still exists.DMA configI2S1 RX → DMA2 Stream2I2S2 RX → DMA1 Stream3

Hello everyone, I’m new to STM32 and I’m currently stuck with using timers.I’m working with an STM32F303RE, and the goal of my project is to generate 6 signals at 100 kHz (high time between 100 and 500 ns), each phase-shifted by 60°. These signals will be used to phase-shift power commands, in order to limit current spikes by staggering their switching times. For now, I’m focusing on generating just a single 100 kHz signal with a longer high time so I can easily observe it on an oscilloscope (precise timings are not important at this stage). To generate the signal, I thought about using the combined PWM mode of Timer 1. If I understand correctly, this mode allows the output to go high when the timer reaches CCR1, then go low when it reaches CCR2, and remain low until the ARR is reached or the timer restarts. This method has the advantage of potentially generating 2 (or 3?) signals using TIM1 and CCR1–6, and makes it easy to handle phase shifts. I have already tested

Hi, I need a little explanation about what is wrong behind my reasoning..I am using STM32F411. reading, two inputs of ADC in scan mode over circular DMA triggered via TIM2 update event.TIM2 is triggering ADC at 100KHz, so I have 50Khz sample rate per adc input. At input of both ADC channels I connected signal generator feeding 1Vrms sine @20KHz.Everything works ok, I am using printf of both channels over (USB-CDC) as  and I can see two sinusoide signals on serial plotter. I am using this serial plotter:https://web-serial-plotter.atomic14.com/ Now the problem and confusion starts here:If I change only TIM2 frequency to 10KHz, I am getting 10X lower sample rate also (now 5KHz pre channel, all checked with Logic Analyzer), but I still can see clear 20KHz sine at serial plotter, without degradation and this contradicts Nyquist theorem...How is this possible and what I am missing?

I have strange DMA problem with a F303 application, in particular a STM32F303K8 (a STM32F303x6/8 variant).The concept is relatively straightforward.A configured ADC sequence is triggered by timer, the ADC in turn triggers DMA transfers of the conversion results, and the DMA raises the TC interrupt when the specified number of transfers is reached.The problem is, the ADC almost immediately raises the OVR flag (overflow), and the DMA is disabled (CCR.EN is reset).I can't see the reason why.Detailed description of used peripherals / resources :  - ADC1_IN1, ADC1_IN2 & ADC1_IN4, 19.5 cycles, with ADC.CCR CKMODE=3 (synchronous, HCLK/4)  - TIM3 TRGO as ADC trigger (ADC1.CFGR EXTSEL=4, EXTEN = 1), at about 11kHz  - assigned DMA is DMA1 Channel 1 (see RM0316 Rev 10, table 77 at page 268)DMA is configured in circular mode, peripheral-to-memory transfer, memory increment, and half-word transfers.At the moment I try only one sequence (3 samples, i.e. half-words), instead of a l

Hi, For STM32F446RET6, I want to use the DAC function of it. But I have some question. 1. If I don't use the output buffer, what is the output range? From the datasheet I think it should be 0.5mV to 3.3V±1LSB？2. If I use the output buffer, what is the output range? From the datasheet I think it should be 0.2V to 3.1V？(My VDDA=VREF is 3.3V) 3. For this 12-bit DAC, its minimum output cannot be 0V (regardless of whether a buffer is used). So how should I adjust its output? Hello dear ST forum.I need again you precious help.I am working on a data acquisition device, and need to get 14bit data from a parallel ADC connected on DCMI pins,at 48MHz, and move it to a 32MB SDRAM (W9825G6KH-6I) till almost full. The MCU is STM32H743IIT6.After reading, and reading, I did understand that the only available way, is to use MDMA linked list. Create 255 nodes and transfer the 16 bit data to the SDRAM. Can someone point me the right direction?   

Hello,I am in the process of designing a product which is based on the STM32-H753 and requires P/SRAM.However, I'm concerned the H753 might not support on PSRAM with QSPI, I need the PSRAM for write/read.I haven't found any application notes or examples from ST showing connection QSPI PSRAM into the STM32  only for FMC or OCTOSPI Flash.Has anyone successfully used QSPI PSRAM with STM32H7 ?Are the specific requirements or limitation I should be aware of ?(attached reference images for context):

I am quite new to the STM32H7 power configuration, so I may have misunderstood the datasheet and reference manual. I am using an STM32H745BI with only an external 3.3 V LDO (no SMPS components on my board). In CubeMX I have changed the power configuration from PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY to PWR_EXTERNAL_SOURCE_SUPPLY Right now my board is wired like this: VDDx: 3.3 V, each with 100 nF decoupling VSSx, VSSA: GND VBAT: not connected VSSSMPS: GND VLXSMPS: not connected VDDSMPS: not connected VFBSMPS: not connected VCAP1 / VCAP2 / VCAP3: 2.2 µF to GND VDDLDO_1 / VDDLDO_2 / VDDLDO_3: not connected PDR_ON: 0 Ω to GND SWD is not working reliably and I suspect my power-pin connections are wrong. Hello, I am trying to make a write into flash driver but I am having some issues.I know that the only way to write a 1 to the memory is by clearing the whole page, but I am having issues writing 0s.By reading the manual I encountered: Bit 2 PGERR: Programming error Set by hardware when an address to be programmed contains a value different from '0xFFFF' before programming. Does that mean I can only write 0s once to each addres per page clear?If this is the case, why is that? Wouldn't I be capable of writinng indefinetly when I am not trying to write any 1 in the memory?

I am implementing a high-speed, continuous UART loopback system using the GPDMA Standard circular mode on an STM32N6 series microcontroller. If have read the RM0456 and could not found a detailed description.If I switch the option byte DUALBANK to 0 single-bank mode, what will happen if I access a address which is normally supposed to be in bank 2? Do I get a memory access error?So is my assumption correct? That would mean switching on the single bank mode of a 2MB device, I can only used 1MB of the first bank? best regards P.
