Hi, I am working on a project and having the following problem:My UART DMA is not working. I am transmitting a string, that should be visible in the terminal but it is not. The TX complete callback function is being triggered, so it looks like it works but there is nothing in the terminal. Previously, I was using UART without DMA and things were working fine. It confirms that the hardware connections and the VCP connections are correctly set up.   What I have done so far: - I enabled UART2, tested UART (without DMA). Hi,I am working on STM32G474CET mcu. I am trying to use VREFBUFF voltage for ADC channel referance voltage. My configuration looks like the following. When i run the code, it stuck in the HAL_SYSCFG_EnableVREFBUF function. Hello All,I got Classic CAN running on the FDCAN3 module of STM32G474CE device using MXCube and other example projects for STM32G474 devices.Problem is, all these example codes have a fixed baud rate of 1Mbps. My application requires thebaud rate be configurable. Until now, I have not been able to find any table / calculator on the internet that could calculate the bit timing register values for me, based on kernel clock and required baud rate etc... Does anyone here have any clue on this?

Hi ST Community, I am currently trying to evaluate if I can use EXTI GPIO IRQ handlers (function executed at USER BUTTON press) in combination with the STOP3 sleep mode.Firstly, I would like to request, if this is supported by the u5 CPU. Based on the reference manual, only a WKUP interrupt can wake up the CPU from STOP3 mode. So is the following scenario realizable?1) CPU configures EXTI GPIO (USER BUTTON) with IRQ handler/function2) CPU goes into STOP33) User presses USER BUTTON4) CPU leaks STOP3 (WKUP interrupt)5) CPU executes EXIT GPIO IRQ after wake up6) CPU goes pack to STOP3 and waits for next wake up7) <infinite loop from 2.> Or are the WKUP and EXTI GPIO interrupts exclusive? Hi EveryOne,                  I have made a custom board with STM32H7B0 and  W25Q128 . where W25Q128 has to hold the user application . I hoped that i can change OSPI in STM32H7B0  to a QSPI config and work with W25Q128  ( which will only work with SPI or Qspi) . I can't able to select QSPI config ( which is mentioned as it is already activated ) in Octal SPI parameters . i'm using  firmware version :FW H7 1.12.1   since this is a personal one i can't change the  W25Q128 to another OSPI supported flash memory  IC. Is there any example or any other way to make   W25Q128 (changing OSPI to single SPI or using any one SPI communication)  as a external memory to hold user application for  STM32H7B0.

I have a custom board with an STM32H730 and a LAN8710A PHY, operated in RMII mode.  The board is a new design, based on an older board but with some differences (the older board has an STM32H750).  My short-term goal is to prove out the hardware -- a response to a ping would be sufficient for this.I have no prior experience with the STM32 family.  I set up a project with STM32CubeIDE, following the Ethernet video from ControllersTech.  I'm at a point where the firmware initializes without error, and seems to correctly set up the PHY.  But then I run into problems.With the board plugged into the building LAN and a scope connected to the RX lines of the PHY, I see activity on those signals.  There is, however, no activity on the TX lines going from the processor back to the PHY.  And of course there's no response to a ping.We're outputting a 50 MHz clock from MCO1, and feeding that into ETH_RMII_REF_CLK and into the PHY clock input.  That sign

Hi,I'm working on an STM32G491RE-based project where we need to configure 10 GPIO input pins as external interrupts. Each of these pins is on a different port and mapped to a unique EXTI line (EXTI0 to EXTI10), so there’s no conflict in EXTI line usage.Due to current hardware limitations, we're unable to physically test all these pins simultaneously. However, I’d like to know: is it valid and supported to configure and enable all 10 EXTI lines in the firmware?Thanks in advance!

Hi Mr/Mrs,I have one problem about flash software for Stm32F103C8T6. When I compile and flash software for the first time, everything is OK. But, I have changed code and compile successfully then software can not flash to board. I see that there is one different point about SWDIO. At second time, it is “No target device”. I have tried switch Boot 0 into 1 and software flash success. I also tried with new target board and issue is similar. Here, I have used ST-Link V2 mini for Stm8, Stm32 and target board Stm32f103c8t6 via Keil C IDE.Could you please help me check and give for me some tips to resolve this problem? Thanks so much!

Am I seeing this right? According to the datasheet, the STM32F413xG/H only maps USART3_RX to PB11, PC5, PC11, and PD9. All four happen to not exist in the STM32F413CG/H variants with the UFQFPN48 package!Bit weird this doesn't seem to be noted anywhere. I guess this 10 UART chip is really a 9.5 (or fewer?) Hello  hope some one can shed some light please,I have a STM32F446RE board with SPI1 setup for 8pin SPI FRAM memoryI have written my own firmware using DMA / SPI1 to read and write to this FRAM ICThis is a very fast no volatile memory IC that does not have the limitations of standard FLASH memoryReading and Writing continuously SPI1 40MHz speedIt does not require or use Block / Page / Sector , polling, time delays for write etc.Its just continually allows write at very high speed, so eliminates all the pain of poor endurance, latency of normal serial flash memory. Can I find an external flash loader routine for this type of memory so I can use STcube programmer to load the FRAM with my custom data, of course not ???? Could someone please advise in very basic steps how to create a flash loader for my ST32446 I have tried looking at various flash files / github etc. but there is so much code relative to page size, block size, sector size etc. None of that is appl

Hallo,for security reason I have to stop HRTIM generating 3-phase signal for PMSM motor.It works as described in RM0433 (37.3.23) with DBG_HRTIM_STOP = 1: when debugger stops MCU predefined "FaultLevel" appears on outputs as expected. HRTIM goes into STOP mode. So far very good but... The problem is: "This is permanently maintained even if the MCU exits the halt mode."How can I leave FAULT state of HRTIM on leaving debugger halt without writting debugger script?

Hi,I have an stm32G0B1 that i'm working on. I want to use a timer "TIMER2" but the block diagram of the board doesn't not give the AP2B2 clock bus. I know with other boards is usually mentioned. Where do I go to look for it, as I have looked and I struggle to find it.

I am experiencing issues with the VBAT pin on the STM32H753ZI Nucleo board. Specifically, the VBAT pin is not responding properly. I am using a CR2032 CMOS battery for RTC backup, but it is not maintaining the date and time as expected. When the power supply is off, the RTC does not hold and run correctly, but it resumes running once the power supply is restored. battery positive connected to VBAT and negative to GND. i have removed SB52. I have attached the IOC and main file for your reference.

Hi,I am using STM32G07 for the slave side, and another MCU for the Host side.I would like to implement the device firmware upgrade of the ST MCU, and controlled by the Host MCU.There is only support for UART communication between two MCUs.ST MCU Protocol version is V3.1, and the "Get Checksum" command is only supported for V3.3For the "Read Memory" Command, I tried using baud rate =115200 & 2 stop bits to read 256 bytes, which takes ~26ms for the UART part only. if read all 128K Bytes for Flash Image integrity checking, it takes at least 13.312sI tried to damage the .bin file image e.g last 32 bytes of content, and the MCU could run the Main application (the application would output UART Log regularly).Question:Any alternative suggestions or methods could check the flash image integrity faster?STM32G07 able to upgrade the Protocol version to V3.3? 

can anyone give the example code to read pottentiometer values using SDADC in stm32f373vct6 .  i have done  configurations for it but it is giving only 32768  reading even though  i am varying the potentiometer.  

Greetings! Getting back into embedded after a long while. As the title says I am wanting to use STM32H563ZI with openocd, but it is not supported out of the box. I have gone through the readme and it looks like I need to create a specific `target/stm32h5x.cfg` file to use with this board. I just want to get working on command line right now. I am on a Mac. I think I am missing something fundamental and/or gotten tunnel vision.* Is there a template to create a new .cfg for this board somewhere.* What is the usual process to get support for a new board ? Fork below repo, add new file, and submit a PR?* I have looked at the following links but must be missing something. Hi, I am working on a project where I have a custom board with STM32L073 MCU and I want to read a color sensor (AS7341) via I2C. This will be a low power application. I will harvest energy via NFC from a smartphone (I am using NTAG I2C plus). I can get a voltage is about 2.8 V and current about 10-14 mA from the harvested energy. This will power up the color sensor and the MCU. I have been trying to operate the MCU at low power but I am unable to do it. I have tried regulating down voltage from a 3.7V 1000 mAh lipo battery to 1.8V and trying to run the MCU to get the color sensor data but I cannot do it. I tried using a logic analyzer to observe the I2C signals. For greater than 3.3V, it works fine, I am able to see the data in uart as well as in the logic analyzer but when it goes below 3.3V it doesn't work. I also tried regulating down to 2.8V from a battery, still doesn't work. I think I am missing something on how to operate the STM32 MCU in low power mode. Please let me know what

Hello,I am using a STM32L476RCT which should work up to 85°C.I am receiving unsolicited interrupts when I put my board in an environment at 60°C.I only use usart1 and a few GPIO interrupts, which are working fine. But when the temperature rises, the system gets stuck.Using the debugger, I was able to see that interrupts are occurring and sending the system to default handler. Those interrupts are WWDG_IRQHandler, and UART/USARTX_IRQHandler. Looking at the registers, those interrupts should be disabled. We do not use WWDG.A quick fix is to define a custom handler for the interruptions that I don't want, but it does not explain why those interruptions are occurring.Does anyone has any idea what could go wrong ?Thanks  

I am attempting to interface an STM32H723 with an ADXL345 accelerometer. I used CubeMX and generated I2C driver code with 400kHZ clock frequency and error/event interrupts enabled. I have attempted both I2C1 and I2C2, but neither peripheral generates any clock pulses or driving of the SDA pin low. I am using 4.7K pull-up resistor between SDA/SCL and 3.3V. I am attempting to  do a 1-byte simple register read of the ADXL345 device from register 0x00, and the ADXL345 device address for read is 0xA7. However, I cannot seem to get I2C1 or I2C2 pins to drive any activity - they just remain pulled high to 3.3V. I am wondering if I am missing something in the initialization code CubMX generated. Cross-referencing with the reference manual, nothing looks out of the ordinary for what I attempted to configure.
