Hello,After trying almost everything I found online, I’m posting here for help.I’m working with an STM32H747I-DISCO board, aiming to exchange data via USB CDC with Windows. I’ve configured the .ioc for USB CDC device (FS or HS) on the Cortex M7 core. However, the COM port does not appear on Windows.Does anyone have a working .ioc configuration for USB CDC or got this running on this board? I’m running out of ideas and can't find a working project for this board as a start. Hello,  I am using the STM32H573RIV6 for my project and would like to use the USB interface. However, according to the datasheet, the VDDUSB pin is not available for the VFQFPN68 package. Does this mean the USB feature is not available for the STM32H573RIV6? This is not specifically mentioned in the datasheet. Regards, Harsha

Hi, In my STM32G474 project, I'm receiving a signal consisting of a burst of pulses, with a relatively long idle period before the next burst. I'm trying to setup a system where I use timers to count the pulses, and a slave timer to detect the idle period. How is the best way to do this?In my setup I'm using TIM2 in ETR2 mode, and using this, I'm able to count the pulses coming in by setting regular counter mode. My plan was to setup TIM4 to count independently with a timeout of say 40mSec. This timer is then set to receive resets from TIM2 whenever there is a counter update.This don't seem to work.My TIM4 is using internal clock and trigger source is ITR1, and slave mode is set to reset mode.Any tips and suggestions?Best regards

HelloNeed help, need to set PWM in a one pulse mode, so that at start timer there would be a low level output for a time equal to value of CCRx, after compare the output would be change to a high level and would remain so after overflow and stopping the counter.Now I use PWM Mode 2 and active high level (tried PWM Mode 1 and active low level), as a result, after the counter stops, the output goes to low level, as shown on the screenshot: 

Hi community,I have a problem that other people have also raised and I'd be grateful for help.I followed AN5361 and I watched this STM video on the same topic. First thing to mention is that the video and doc have different advice about whether the CM7 should Halt All Cores (Video advice) or not (AN5361 advice). I'm trying to use my NUCLEO-H753ZI board to send some message to my PC using UART. I read from the data sheet that USART3 is connected to the ST-LINK for the Virtual COM Port (VCP), and USART3 can directly transmit messages to the PC. However, in the configuration window, USART3 is greyed out and cannot be configured. Is this normal? If so, how can I send messages to my PC using this board?

In the schematic for STM32N6 Vddcore power rail (attached), voltages of 0.81V and 0.89V are output from the SMPS using resistor dividers. I understand how the output of 0.81V was achieved using the 56K and 160K resistors and formula from the SMPS datasheet, but I'm not clear how the 0.89V output was achieved when the third resistor of 422K was added in parallel when the n-channel mosfet is used. Can someone please share the formula/how this was calculated?

I'm currently at schematic stage designing a board based around the STM32U5G9ZJT6Q. The PCB will be produced and assembled by JLCPCB, so I had a look for a HSE crystal they have in stock and found this:https://jlcpcb.com/partdetail/YangxingTech-X322516MLB4SI/C13738https://jlcpcb.com/api/file/downloadByFileSystemAccessId/8579709258350247936Calculations seem to check out OK (Gm_crit < Gm_critMax), I'm just a bit unsure about the Rext resistor and whether it is required for this part. I have put an 0603 0R resistor in for now, is there a way to calculate whether I will need some resistance there, or does it require measurements to be taken on the circuit, then adjust accordingly?

When I tried to enable read protection level 1 through STM32Cube Programmer(using ST link and J link), I was able to do so successfully. However, after enabling read protection, none of the peripherals worked properly—specifically, the push button and USART. I also tried this on STM32WL and STM32U0 boards. Could you please help me understand the reason for this issue and provide a proper solution?

Hello,I have a GPIO pin that is owned and used by the M4, i.e. Pin Context Assignment.  But on power-up, I'd like the M7 to do some work with it, toggle the state, before it starts the M4.  Is it possible for the M7 to programmatically take ownership of the GPIO pin, then transfer it back to the M4 just before it starts the M4?Regards,Robert 

I'm trying to code a USB host on my stm32h743 board, and I would like more than one active IN endpoint.I'm basing my code on the STM32Cube_FW_L0_V1.12.1 STM32H743I-EVAL application USB_Host CDC_Standalone.I have a modified version of USBH_CDC_InterfaceInit that (I think) sets up two sets of CDC endpoints, and I can send characters on either of them and receive interrupts fine. When a character is due to be sent back on the first endpoint, I receive that character. But on the second endpoint, I just receive a NULL character.It's a little hackish in that one of the endpoint sets is hardcoded from the configuration descriptor because we're after an interface subclass and protocol both of 0xff and USBH_FindInterface treats 0xff as a wildcard. Dear ST Team,I am currently working with the STM32F407 board and implementing SPI communication between a Master and a slave. While the slave does respond to data sent by the Master, I am encountering an issue where the received data sometimes rolls and contains unexpected garbage values.Could you please provide guidance on possible causes and troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue? Any insights into proper SPI configuration, clock synchronization, or handling of buffer overflows would be greatly appreciated.Looking forward to your support.

Hello!I have not been able to figure out how to get PSSI DMA working for the H5. For other peripherals, there is a DMA-tab in the configuration, but not for PSSI. Similarly, I have not been able to find any way of using interrupts for transmitting or receiving PSSI data. The XXX_Transmit_IT() & XXX_Receive_IT() functions available for many other peripherals are missing. As it is, my only option seems to be to synchronously send and poll for data.My question is what am I missing? Is there another way of doing this for the STM32H5? If you could just point me in the right direction, I'd be most grateful.Cheers,// Ola

Hi All!I have an application where I am designing a PCB for an STM32 MCU. However it requires a faster ADC than the integrated one. I am thinking about using the AD9057 by analog devices, using parallel interface. I want to ideally read as fast as possible each sample, and transfer data to memory using DMA. My question then is, what is the fastest/most elegant way of doing this, and what is the easiest way of doing this? Could one for example use PA0 to PA7 as GPIO inputs and read them simultaneously and transfer the data using DMA or CPU at 20 MSPS? Is is fast enough? I am open to any suggestions! I would love examples too!Could one use FMC? How would one configure it?Best regardsNOTE: I am trying to avoid using FPGA

I designed my board using the STM32L476RGT6. However, when using the ST-Link via SWD, I get the following message:Error: No STM32 target found! If your product embeds Debug Authentication, please perform a discovery using Debug Authentication.I have checked all connections and voltages, and everything is correct, with the proper 3.3V values.I am sending the schematic and a photo of the programmer.Note: I did not solder the VCAP capacitors, and there is no voltage on these pins. 

Hi, I have a b-l4s5i-iot01a board. I want to generate 2 different pulses with a phase difference from different output channels. I have my desired pulses using TIM15 channel 1 and 2 but I cannot delay one of them. TIM1  and TIM8 pins are not accesible on the discovery kit and I want pulses to have 10ms so I used slave trigger mode but CubeMX says for combined channels you must not use slave mode. Below are my configurations. I use TIM1 as a 10MHz trigger for TIM15.

Hi, I have an application that should trigger an interrupt on a falling level signal. For argument sake, let's say that I expect it to trigger about once a second. Now, when I run my code, it triggers(the EXTI12 ISR) more like 30 times per second. I have measured the level signal, and it is flat but the ISR for some reason still triggers. Attached is the scope plot of my level signal. I have a Debug IO PIN toggling plot as well. you can see, I ran this over 3s and my scope had 3 captures, from my analogy this means the level signal cannot be the cause ?. This is my

New to CAN here,Is it possible to configure the same CAN peripheral (CAN1) on an STM32F4 to receive messages from one node in RXFIFO0 and from another node in RXFIFO1?The reason for this setup is that one of the nodes has a higher priority and I would like to separate the messages accordingly. If this is possible, how should I configure the CAN filter settings to achieve this?

Hi, I am developing a low power application using STM32L431RCTx of 64-pin QFTP package.I have gone through the manual and some web content and tried several methods. The minimum current consumption I could achieve is 1.33mA at 3.6V power supply. The system uses two ER34615 batteries in parallel for power supply. I have two TPS631010 chips working at 3.3V for the MCU and RF, 5V for the sensor circuit respectively.The MCU uses 8MHz and 32.768k as external HSI and LSI clock respectively. The MCU works at 2MHz.Here is the CubeMX configuration.
