Hey, I´m working on implementing all 3 CAN bus interfaces on a F767ZI. Looking through the Reference Manual it states that dual CAN set ups feature 28 filter banks and single CAN set ups feature 14 filter banks. However looking at Table 280 it states that CAN1 and 2 share 26 filter banks and CAN3 has 14. Is the 26 a typo or is the number actually limited on this MCU?//Andre

Hello, I am currently working with the STM32H7S78-DK board using STM32CubeIDE for setup. I have connected four external buttons to the following pins: D2 (PF1), D4 (PF2), D7 (PF3), and D8 (PF4) on the board. I have configured the buttons as external interrupts. However, while I am able to detect button presses in the main loop by polling the GPIO pins, the interrupt does not seem to trigger the HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin) function. Steps I have followed: - Configured GPIO pins (PF1, PF2, PF3, PF4) as interrupt inputs in STM32CubeMX.- Enabled the interrupts in the NVIC configuration.- Implemented the HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback function in the code.- Used GPIO_MODE_IT_RISING for interrupt triggering.Despite the above configurations, the interrupt Callback is not being invoked when the buttons are pressed.Here I attached some snapshot of configuration and code i have write.

Hi community,after searching quite a long time for a bug on my board I found it. It was due to an unclear phrasing of the stm32f411's datasheet in table8/p39: for the QFP64 package pin 13 is not only vref but also VDDA.It would be much clearer to write VREF/VDDA in that row.  Regards 

Thank you so much for your continued support. There is undershoot and overshoot in the waveform of the input pin on the STM32H7A3ZIT6. What is the acceptable duration (in nanoseconds) for it to be within specification? Please also check the attached file. Sorry to trouble you, but please provide your response. Best Regards。  

 あなた:Hi, I'm developing audio recording system uinsg DFSDM of STM32L4. The microphone sound is converted to digital by external ADC and the converted data is sent via SPI to DFSDM. The problem is that the external ADC provides data but it has setup delay from rising edge of CKOUT and the data for DATIN isn't available at the time of riging edge of CKOUT. Is there any way to delay read timing of SPI so that it can wait setup delay? The setup delay of external ADC is about 58ns. 

Hi i have a question about configuring your adc in continous mode!I dont understand why this mode doesnt work when i set my EOCS to "EOC flag at the end of single channel conversion".Let's say i m using multiple channels from adc and i dont want to work with DMA and instead i ll be working with interruptions directly .How can i get the value from each each channel if the EOC is raised only when the whole sequence is done?Thanks in advance!

When I wrote the code created with CubeMX in the circuit in the attached image and executed it, it hung up at UART transmission.This is a simple program with one line of additional code.(HAL_UART_Transmit)What am I doing wrong?I haven't been able to resolve it for a week. 

Posted on January 02, 2016 at 20:08Using CubeMX eclipse plugin under linux. The generated source code has windows style CR-LF lineends, what's very uncommon for this OS (and even for Mac OSX). This issue heavily bothers post processing tools which might working on the generated code (e.g. grep, awk, perl, …). Could ST please change the code generation to have OS styled lineends (for Linux & OSX, this means LF without CR)? Further, it would be nice, if the generated code comes without trailing whitespace. Hello,I am trying to use the USB HOST with CubeMX, everything works fine and I can detect my USB stick properly. The connection/disconnection is detected correctly.Then, I tested connecting a UGREEN SD card reader, and everything works fine as long as I insert only one SD card. However, when I insert the second SD card into the card reader, CubeMX does not detect the second connection and only considers the first connection.Similarly, when I connect a powered USB hub (Meta 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub), it detects the USB but never goes into "APPLICATION READY"...?My question is the following: is it possible to use the USB Host with CubeMX to control a USB hub and read and write to multiple USB sticks?I haven’t found any example on GitHub.Thank you for reading!

Hello,   On one hand, I built an app that uses I2C, 2 UARTS, ADCs, captures PWM, provides PWM. All of them rely heavily on the use of DMAs. This app gives good results without any apparent issue. On the  other hand, I built a test app on the same target to drive a display using LVGL 9.2.2. It seems to work too.   So far, so good... Now I put both together: the result produces an hard fault with STKALIGN and UNALIGN_TRP bits set. I suspect an overflow somewhere. As the app is pretty big, I started to strip the code as much as possible while keeping the hardfault. Stripping code allowed the app to be compiled without optimization hoping this will help resolving. This leads to a single module that is provided below. Hello, I'm writing this in hope I can successfully resolve my issue with getting BERR on every I2C call, when connected with specific master device.I have implemented slave device using STM32F4 discovery board using HAL I2C drivers and IT functions.For ease of testing I have also implemented master device on Arduino MKRZero. Based on available documentation of MKRZero, it comes without pull-ups placed on PCB so I have added it as shown in the picture below.I have tried with 1k Ohm and 3k3 Ohm resistors on SDA&SCL line and in both cases communication worked.Below is picture with 1k Ohm resistors.

I have bootloaded a CAN application, and after its loaded & the application starts, it can transmit but it doesn't receive.What steps happen as the bootloader hands over control to the new application? For example, how does it know where to jump to?I have trawled through lots of the knowledge base & there are articles about writing custom bootloaders & how to jump from the application to the system bootloader, but nothing that describes the most likely use case i.e. exiting the system bootloader & starting the user application. Hi, I tried to read signal from ultrasonic parking unit by capturing PWM input. Signal has one start pulse 530 Hz width (1.87 ms) and a sequence with 0 and 1 (9.942 kHz and 4,97 kHz) period between pulses sequences is about 193 ms. I use STM32F103 blue pill board with external 8Mhz quartz oscillator.

I need to expand my STM32H7A3ZIT6 MCU's RAM and FLASH memories and since I am using a lot of peripherals and would like to avoid the rather complex routing process of the FMC, I am trying to keep the number of pins I am using low thus, I looked into Octospi instead of the FMC. From what I understand, octospi uses less pins and operates at a higher frequency, thus has a lower latency but also a lower throughput since it only has 8 parallel data lines, compared to the 32 the FMC has. Does this mean that Octospi is usually preferred for flash where-as the FMC is usually recommended when adding external SRAM since it usually requires a higher throughput? Would it still be possible to use it for SRAM as well though? I'd appreciate anyone who can share experience on this or recommend resources to read-up on. Thanks in advance.

I am using STM32s NUCLEO-H755ZIQ board , while debugging through eclipse IDE for the M7 core the board's MCU went under low power state and LD6 which is over current led (red) is turned on.When I am connecting the board with the STM32CubeProgrammer the board is gettting detected but ST-Link is failing to flash the board.  Please help me with this problem as same thing has happend with the another NUCLEO-H755ZIQ board.Both the boards are having same problem

HelloOn an coin-cell application I use the STOP mode twice, once with WakeUp through external interrupts, once with WakeUp through RTC. Everything works fine.When I enter the STOP mode with WkUp through external interrupts, I need to completely disable & stop the RTC, in order to save power (STOP-mode without RTC would be about 500nA less current). I tried stopping the RTC, De-Init the RTC, etc., but without effort: RTC keeps sucking power.Any idea on how to stop & disable in runtime the RTC, so it does not consume the additional RTC-power when MCU in STOP-mode?Many thanks in advance!Best RegardsGerardo

I could really need some help how to get a STM32F030T4P6 to act as a i2c slave and receive a byte of data I've spend so much time in the past week trying to solve this problem, but no progress at all The final code must act as four PCF8574 port expanders and save the received byte in a common array with one index for each of the four PCF8574 addresses. Why?.... Because it is a very easy way of getting some data from Home Assistant, via EsPHome into the MCU for further usage I need to use these 4 bytes to create some serial pulse trains thet will control some relay modules that is using a special protocol. I'm working on getting the STM32G0 to stop mode. Im using WFI so it will wake on interrupt. Right now its immediately waking which is confusing me.My understanding is that I should __disable_irq() first to prevent the interrupt handlers from being called which would potentially cause you to miss a wakeup flag because the handler cleared it. I can't make sense of this.with the irq disabled the flag could still get set.  Thus, I think I need to disable the IRQ source itself. once the source is disabled then why would I need to call disable_irq?Unless I should do as follows1. Disable sources I don't want to wake the MCU2. disable_irq3. configure sources I _do_ want to wake the MCU4. STOPIs this the correct procedure?

Hi,I am using a STM32F446 as a USB high speed host. my device is connected to a USB3300 chip to control the micro usb port, which is then connected to a camera. My code works ~90% of the time, however sometimes the connection to the camera can be unreliable. When this happens, the only way to get it to connect again is to power cycle the device. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this issue and how I could resolve it? I have tried just resetting the USB if it doesn't connect after a few seconds, but I think I am missing something as this isn't working. Any workarounds like this that fix the issue would also be useful.I have attached a screenshot of the schematic for USB, and can provide more details if necessary.Any help or ideas is much appreciated!
