STM32 MCUs Products

I am using the STM32H725ZGT6 for a new client application.  I have used it many times before.  This application requires three UARTs running, so I am using USART10 for one of them.  I have not used USART10 before.My code runs all 3 UARTs the same -- interrupt service on RX (which just reads the byte and puts it in a buffer), while TX is driven by code clocking. My problem is that the USART10 interrupt is not interrupting.  The other two behave textbook (USART1, UART7), but USART10 is dead.  The UART hardware is configured ok and runs ok when polled, but the symptoms act as if I am enabling the wrong interrupt bit.    I have seen some oblique references doing web searches to offsets / errors in the interrupt table documentation, past some point in the table.  That would be consistent since USART10 is near the end of the table.   I have searched the chip documentation and errata, however, and found nothing.

After a day of debugging, apparently HRTIM has minimum CR values, this means im not able to trigger any CR event close to the 0% of my scale, in my case this translates to a discontinuity in the lower end of my phase shift control. Is there any way around this? reading RM0364 page 842

Hello and good year everyone,I am trying to follow the architecture below, where I read 1 ADC halfword at 2KHz via SPI. The idea is to trigger the DMA 1 Channel 3 as soon a new data is available in my SPI. It transfers my data from SPI to RAM. As soon the DMA Transfer is complete, I need the MDMA to immediately transfer the data from RAM to DTCM. It seems like my SPI read is good, my DMA transfer from SPI to RAM is good too. However, the MDMA does not transfer any data from RAM to DTCM, do you know why ? Below are the interesting part of my code :  MDMA Config :

Hi,i created this minimum code, where the dma for the injected conversions will not work. Only after each(!) start of a regular conversion, the injected conversion does work for one time. In contrast to the STM32L0 that I am migrating from to the newer STM32U083, the U0 clock tree (Reference manual RM0503 V2.0 figure 11) does NOT show that timer clocks are PCLK*2 when APB prescaler>1.Also, it states in 5.2.14 that timer clock TIMPCLK is equal to PCLK. In other STM32 series like F1, L4 and L0 I was used to have timer clock doubling when PCLK<HCLK. A feature I always disliked, because it requires reconfiguring timers when you want to throttle the CPU speed.However:The HAL (STM32Cube_FW_U0_V1.2.0) function HAL_RCCEx_GetPeriphCLKFreq() returns 2x PCLK, but only for TIM15 and TIM1 in that case (APB prescaler>1). This exception for TIM1 and TIM15 is nowhere to be found in the reference manual.When I configure TIM6 to clock from 8MHz PCLK (1/2 of my 16MHz HCLK) with prescaler 8 (PSC register value 7) it appears to run twice as fast as expected: 2MHz instead of the expected 1MHz. Apparently it is clocked bt 16MHz (2*PCLK)

Hello,  I have a NUCLEO U545 - REQ and i have a Queue in which i read the incoming values from 4 potientiometers from my ADC4 and send them directly into the DMA.  The problem is that i also have the ADC1 connected to some potentiometers and im not able to put two ADC reading nodes into the same Queue. If i look at the live expressions i the readings of the ADC4 get stuck into the "first iteration" while the readings of the ADC1 do not initialize and therefore the Queue gets in this ADC1 reading node. I have not found any problem related to Queues and Nodes in the forums but i have found some videos about it and theres no example about two adc reading nodes inside of the same queue. Therefore i suppose i have to create a different queue but how do queues interact with each other?  Does someone know how do Queues interact with each other or is there any way of creating two ADC reading nodes in the same Queue?&nbs

Hi everybody: First post here. I'm working with a GPS parser that re-sends data to another board, and receives some feedback from this other obard. BTW, both perform GPS parsing, with the same algos. One is Feather STM32F407 (the one with the problem) and the other is Nucleo STM32F439 that is also a UDP server/broadcaster. The issue is that the first one uses USART 3 to interface to a GPS (in this case, TESEO3), and USART 6 to re send the NMEA sentence. In both cases, I'm using the DMA receive to IDLE, since in both cases data stream is continuous. The issue, is that the HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback only seems to work with ONE of the serial ports. Hi,Ive made a custom board with a STM32H735 micro on it. I have built a board with nothing but a micro and a few of its needed passive components and went to provide it power and test that its working. I supplied power from a benchtop power supply with a current limit of 400ma and it hit this limit at 3v. Dropping to 100ma it hit the limit at 2.2V. Checking the resistance on the power rails it 10.25k and the Vcap rail is 500k. Thermal camera shows a square heat zone expanding from the centre of the IC (LFQP package) towards the outside. Ive now tired 3 different ICs on 3 different boards. The schematic is very similar to the STM32H735G-DK  with changes mostly being things like jumpers. What could be causing this issue and what steps can i take from here?Thanks in advanced

In the last weeks, I was working on running W25Q256 nor flash chip from vendor Winbond with STM32F746 MCU on a custom board. My guideline in this road is ST's how to run QSPI flash video tutorial (5-part video) and of course some genius guys in the community who's helped me a lot to rewrite the functions of QSPI flash (Init, Erase, Write, Memory-mapped). So far functions tested in the Main.c and I can read the pre-written data on the memory. The next step is to generate (.stldr) external loader file and modify Flash.ld file.according to the video tutorial, I added Loader_Src.c, dev_inf.c, and dev_inf.h files to the workspace but there is a little confusion about flash.ld file that contains memory definitions and all other data and text stuff to assign to specific memory (>FLASH, >RAM, >QUADSPI).for the point of concern, I use STM32F746 with IS42S32400F SD-RAM connected with 2-banks to MCU and of-course W25Q256 NOR-FLASH.how to modify flash.ld file

Hello everyone. I have a big problem with my custom STM32H7 board, in particular with HAL_Delay.When I add a line on my main.c file to simply print on SWV, the first time seems to work, but after it does not work anymore. It prints the first time, and after it seems stuck in HAL_Delay indefinitely.. Could someone help me debug this issue? I'll put the .ioc file below, Thanks in advance.

I am using the above library to display simple text msg on the OLED display. It works. However the controller slows down - while(1) loop works as if delay(5000) is implemented. At first the internal HSI clock running at 8Mhz was being used. Thinking that increasing the clock speed might help , activated the PLL so as to increase the clock to 48MHZ. But still the SSD1306 somehow pulls down the speed. If the code for SSD1306 are commented out , rest of the operation runs faster. The controller is used to read only 2 ADC channels with DMA, which is not much of a task. Nothing else.  Has anyone encountered such an issue ? What could be the likely issue ? 

I am using a STM32U545 Nucleo board with a purpose of measuring up to 8 Square wave frequencies simultaneously averaging between 100KHz to 1.5MHz. I only need to measure frequency with as much as accuracy achievable. Finally, I plan to transfer all the readings over I2C.   What is the best setup for this case in CubeMX? I have tried to follow Input capture DMA examples online but in my board it is GPDMA1, and setup for it is different than some online tutorials. Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi people,Im working on STM32H723 module and using SPI6 with LL and/or registers. Even when using HAL libraries I have same issue. SPI stops working randomlyI need to send several messages every (e.g.) 25 ms, (I tried 50 ms). Main Clock is set to max speed, 550 MHz, SPI 6 clock is 137.5 MHz and using a clock divider of 16 it downs to 8.6 MHzTwo timers running, 1 ms ( run time tracking) and 25 ms (used for SPI6)No other peripheral is active in this experiment (I have a bigger code with several peripherals enabled but run into SPI problems so I decided to test SPI only in this experiment)This is SPI TxRx function

Hi everyone,I'm working with the NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q board and using the ADC_SingleConversion_TriggerSW_Init example. However, I can't get the ADC to measure correctly. No matter what voltage I apply to pin 9 of CN7, the reading always stays around 80mV.STM32 Version: 1.17.0Has anyone encountered this issue before? Could I be missing something in the configuration?Thanks in advance!

According to the description of Section 7.3.2 "Error code correction (ECC)" in the RM0456 manual, reading the data at address 0x0BFA1F80 is supposed to generate an NMI interrupt.However, when I tried to read the data at this address, no NMI interrupt was triggered.I was also able to read the data at this address normally using Cube Programmer.The development board used for testing is the ST`s B-U585I-IOT02A.Why didn't the read operation trigger an NMI interrupt?

I need to measure 0 to 80V DC voltage with STM32F373CCT6 and I have some questions to get the best performance of the SDADC.*Is this CPU and 16-bit SDADC good for this purpose?*Is it better to use the internal 1V8 Vref or an external 1V8 or 3V3 Vref?*In case I use an external 3v3 Vref I can insert a resistive divider to have a maximum of 3V3 at the SDADC input, such as a 1M series resistor and a 42k2 resistor to ground. Do I need to put an op amp on SDADC input to have a low impedance input? The measured voltage is a stable DC  voltage. Using the internal analog gain can I increase the resolution of the ADC as the voltage decreases without external components?*to calibrate the gain do I have to put a stable voltage at the analog input? what value should it have? does it have to go into the same pin I use to measure 0-80V DC or another analog input?

Hello everyone,I’m working on a PCB that includes an STM32F303. This is my first board using USB, although it’s not my first time working with USB code; I’ve previously developed various USB applications on demo boards.During development, I powered the board with an external lab DC power supply from GW Instek, providing 15V to the board. I developed my software (STM32 side) working with USB, and everything was working fine. The board controls high-power LEDs/COBs, and from the Python code on the PC side, I could adjust the light intensity of the LED/COB as intended. Everything was going great.Then, I replaced the lab DC power supply with a commercial power supply (XP Power VCB60US15) that fits my box. Before connecting it to the PCB, I verified that the 15V was correct. After connecting both the power supply and the USB to the development USB hub, one of the LEDs/COBs started lighting up (which was unexpected, as this wasn't the behavior when powered by the GW I

I went through the ST External QSPI Loader how to and have verified my quadspi.c/h driver is good with the Winbond W25Q64 flash part we are using.  However after I create the .stldr and load it into the STM32 Programmer it will not read from the flash...get Error:data read failed.  I've attached the project if someone could help me out with what could be wrong?

Hello, I am working on a product with dual banks enabled. In each banks, there are one bootloader and application. In bank1's bootloader, if new application arrived, it will update bank2's application and then reset and boot from bank2. I meet a problem that the boot from bank 2 is not saved after power off. The code always boot from bank 1, after it lost power. In design, it should boot from the same bank as previous, while there is no firmware update. Attached my code for setting OB_BFB2_ENABLE after firmware upgrade.Thank you for assistances. Melfice
