As mentioned in the topic subject, I would like to implement I2C Slave device which will simulate the BQ769x2 device. For development I'm using STM32F4 Discovery board, but the final product will be deployed on STM32L0.Master device is first trying to detect if slave device is present and after that some functions will be called in no exact order nor the functions have same length. Hi   I am using a STML4xx processor and use HAL for system initialising, and sending strings through the USB port. It works most of the time. I call the below function SendString(...) to send string through the USB port , never within an interupt. I have a volatile variable as a timeout and decremented within the System timer. Sometimes the system sticks inside the CDC_Transmit_FS command, when stuck the System timer doesnt get called. Seems to stick within the routine. I cant see whay it doesnt break the loop , if it cant send the string. Anyone any idea? Hi, I am using an STM32G0B1CBT and using the example shown in the following video to implement a USB-C PD sink with TRACER_EMB and UI_INTERFACE utilities for debugging. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vsJhNIaHxEAfter compiling and running the code, I noticed that the function BSP_GUI_LoadDataFromFlash at line 80 is trying to read from flash address 0x803F800, which is outside the memory region of 128k for the STM32G0B1CBT MCU. What can be the issue?Thanks

The module is connected via PE7 and PE8 on an STM32F767ZI. However, I am encountering difficulties in properly configuring the DMA to handle two-step communication with the component.Additionally, when I attempt to send the AT\r\n command, the DMA correctly processes the \r\n characters but does not seem to recognize the AT command.You can find my code on GitHub. Hey ST,In the FW package that comes with the STM32H7S78-DK, I've been using the Template-XIP project as the base for my own project, and I noticed this issue with the MPU setup of the external SDRAM on the XSPI1 line. Whenver I would try and access memory above 4MB of the external ram chip, I would see a memory controller fault, and my Firmware would halt it's operation.In all of the MPU setup and extmem manager code, the size of this chip is always defined as "32MB". Which would be correct if this define was made for Bytes. But, Since it's an all caps define, I think what probably happened, is that all the defines are written in terms of MegaBits, Instead of MegaBytes, but are following an all caps convention. Hello everyone,I'm currently working on a USB Type‑C Power Delivery design using the STM32U575VGT6Q and the TCPP01‑M12. According to the TCPP01‑M12 datasheet and the example from the UM2581 STM32L5 Nucleo Board, the DB pin should be connected to a GPIO pin on the MCU.The MCU provides two DB signals to properly indicate a dead battery condition. Can these signals be used and fed to the TCPP01‑M12 DB pin?However, I cannot find any option in CubeMX to select or configure just one DB signal – it appears that this specific configuration is not available in the graphical interface.Has anyone encountered this issue?Should the second DB signal be connected together with the first one?Should I leave it unconnected or tie it to a defined potential?Is stacking of an external interrupt on the second DB signal a suitable workaround to use it for the FLT signal?

Hello everyone, I am currently starting my master thesis and i have to design a control loop for an inverter with the STM32 U545 RE-Q. I have started programming in STM32 a week ago so everything is complicated and overwhelming ... I am aware that there are multiple examples that i can download from every family of NUCLEOS but non of them have worked for me. I have tried the U575 example called ADC, where data from the ADC is written on the DMA, i have configured the IDE as in the example, created the Node, the Queue, etc... Hi All,On a custom board we have notice weird behaviour with the watchdog timer.Indeed sometimes on low temperature (closer to 0°C) the board is unable to restart normally on WDT reset.On WDT reset, the scheduler restarts during few ticks and hangs. Any ideas would be will be very appreciated.Regards 

Tested CAN on STM32h723ZGT6 using internal clock i.e., HSI ,which is working fine. When I tried to test it using external clock i.e., HSE with same configuration I am unable to get data on BUS-Analyzer. When I try to transmit the data, the data is able to store in the RAM and even transmit handler is hit. But unable to get data on BUS. I am using crystal oscillator with 12MHz frequency, baudrate 500k, clock frequency to CAN is 8MHz and all the remaining configurations are as seen in the image below.     Thank you and best Regards, Aashritha V.

I am trying to use “FLASH_EDATA_EraseProgram” with NUCREO-H563ZI.When I execute the code, it works normally, but when I connect to the debugger again after closing the debugger, part of the EDATA is initialized.When running in standalone mode, the EDATA is not initialized even if the power is turned on and off, so it looks like the debugger is deleting part of the EDATA. I am using pin PA8 in open drain GPIO output mode to control the power supply voltage on a custom board. Normally, the power supply output 5V but when PA8 is set low, it adds an extra 3k resistor to ground to the voltage feedback pin on the power supply and the output switches 12V.The voltage feedback node is nominally 2.5V.This works fine except that when PA8 is high (open drain), the supply outputs around 7.5V and the voltage at the PA8 pin is around 1.5V, not the 2.5V I would expect. Internal pull-ups and pull-downs are disabled.I rewired the prototype board and switched to a different pin (PB11) and everything worked correctly. This problem exists on all of the prototype boards that we have powered up so far.What is going on? Why is that particular pin acting like it has a very weak pull-down when high instead of going open drain?

I am developing a low-power application and need to add a button-input. As the MCU (STM32WLE5) is in sleep (STOP2) most of the time (waking up by RTC every 30 seconds), the button press needs to trigger an interrupt which also wakes up the MCU.FYI, my current board consumption in sleep is 1.4 uAI cannot add a standard GPIO input, because the current consumption of the schmitt-triggers is too high, so I tried to use the TAMP input, as this seems to allow for low-power applications. The button simply switches PB3 (Tamp input 3) to GND.I am able to get an interrupt from the button which wakes up the MCU from STOP2. Hello,I am using a gate driver IC (1EDN8511BXUSA1) that operates with a 9-10V power supply. The IN- input of the IC is connected to a GPIO pin of the STM32L496, which is internally pulled up to VCC with a 400kΩ resistor (as shown in the picture). At startup, the GPIO pin receives 9V before the initialization process. My question is whether the GPIO pin could be damaged by the 22.5µA injection current that occurs for a short duration during startup?Thank you for your help.

I’m designing a board with the STM32F401RBT6 and have decided to use a 48 MHz TCXO for the HSE clock.I’ve written a simple "Hello World" program that communicates through USART.the TCXO i used : TG2016SMN 48.0000M-MCGNNM3 Observations: When using the HSI (internal oscillator), the program works fine. When switching to the HSE (with the TCXO), the program does not work. I measured the TCXO OUTPUT SIGNAL using an oscilloscope. The waveform is shown in the attached image.

While debugging on the Stm32g474, I enabled write protection. Now I want to disable it. It seems like this is impossible with the Stm32Cubeprogrammer? It will not allow me to enter an invalid address or an address that ends before it starts. How am I supposed to disable WRP on the chip?Thanks

Hello, I am seeing an issue with an STM32U5 battery powered system in the field. I use IWDG to reset the device in the occurrence of a software issue, and put the device into standby mode to sleep for periods of time before being woken up by either RTC or a wakeup pin. I was seeing cases where the devices weren't going to sleep after calling HAL_PWR_EnterSTANDBYMode, and they would proceed to drop into a while loop, and eventually reset with the IWDG. I am trying to create a Client that communicates via Ethernet on the PHY LAN8720 chip. The program has an error that does not run automatically when the board is powered on or the chip is reset. If I use debug, I have to press RUN several times to be able to access the config and main functions and then run normally. Can anyone help me with this error? Thank you very much!!!!

Hi,I have connected a MAX-M10M  module to an STM32H7  MCU ( it's custom board) by UART port. I am able to send data to GPS module and also receive config data of it but not able to receive NMEA packets. I only receive the first byte and then the HAL_STATUS of my HAL_UART_RECEIVE function switches to TIMEOUT.( I am using MX CUBE for pin initialization). I have tried blocking mode, IT and DMA, no luck.Any help would be highly appreciated.
