STM32L151RET6Is the RTC affected by the microcontroller reset?The system is placed in stop mode and is reset every 2 seconds by the watchdog.After 24 hours of operation, I find a delay of approximately 20 seconds.If I do not use stop mode and let the system run normally, these delays do not occur.It behaves as if the microcontroller reset affects the RTC.Has anyone else encountered this situation?

do anyone have example stm32h43 or even any stm32xxx QUADSPI example codei am using STM32H43 QUADSPI and i have configured BK1 to control a flash and BK2 to control a ramBK1 works flawlessly when FSEL - 0 (U4, flash1 selected) but BK2 cannot work properly when FSEL = 1 (U5, flash2 selected)just sending a read status register 1 instruction (common for both devices) only command to the devices is the easiest way to check the hardware working proper or notthe same code works on BK1, i got toggle the WREN bit and read it out but not on BK2i can see all the correct waveform on BK1 but when flash2 is selected, BK2-IO0 which is the SI for the ram U5 do not have the instruction bits which was present on BK1-IO0 when flash1 was selectedso, the only way to find out what is happening is to get sample working code to use it confirm if my setup is correctmy schematic follows the recommended connection in the ST reference documents for two independ

Hello,i am wondering why i can't find any information how fast the different SRAMs are.For Flash you have to configure waitstates, to setup the speed according to the CLK, but not for SRAM.I guess, because there is a dCache installed, the SRAM does not support full speed access or single cycle access. So the question is, how fast is the SRAM? best regards

Hello community,I try to configure the ADC in continuous mode so it writes the converted values via DMA continuously into a memory address in background without triggering via software. It should be possible with : ContinuousConvMode = ENABLE and ExternalTrigConv =ADC_SOFTWARE_START.But the function HAL_ADC_Start_DMA reads only once, writes via DMA and then stops and isn't getting triggered continuously. According to HAL manual, the function HAL_ADC_Start_DMA seems to work only in single mode. How do I get the ADC and DMA run continuously in the background? Do I need a timer?   Hi everyone!I have some questions related to the STM32F407 board and CAN protocol  Does the STM32F407 have an integrated CAN transceiver? If yes, how can I identify it in schematics and where can i find the schematics? If no, what external peripheral should I use to integrate one? Does the STM32F407 support CAN FD? I want to use loopback mode to get started with the CAN protocol, but I don’t know where to begin. How should I proceed?  

Hi all,I'm having problem implementing a function to change the baudrate during runtime. Dear,I am planning to use an OCXO (Taitien NI-10M-2503) as the external oscillator (HSE) for synchronizing the MCU to a highly accurate clock source. The OCXO provides an RF output with a sine wave swinging between -2V and 2V.According to the STM32H533 datasheet, it appears that the input signal on the OSC_IN pin must not exceed Vdd or fall below Vss. In my case, Vdd is 3.3V, and Vss is ground.I would like to seek your guidance regarding the following:Based on the datasheet, my understanding is that directly connecting the OCXO output to the OSC_IN pin would not work. Could you confirm if this is correct?Would it be necessary to use a circuit such as a bias-T to condition the signal before feeding it into the OSC_IN pin?Are there any example circuits or application notes available for this type of setup?If there are alternative or better approaches, I would greatly appreciate your recommendations.Thank yo

I want to continuously measure the frequency of signal1 relative to signal2.Signal1 can vary between 1-80 MHz, signal2 between 5-15 MHz.My approach is:Timer1 counts signal1.Timer2 counts signal2 with a counter period of 200. This gives me an event roughly at 10 MHz / 200 = 50 kHz. When this happens, timer1 should be saved to memory (old values can be overwritten) and reset to 0.How do I implement this in STM32CubeIDE? Especially the "one timer triggers reading of the other timer" is not clear to me.

 A client asked me for a code quote to control an ILI9341 TFT LCD. In my opinion, a Cortex-M0 would do the job, but I only found a Cortex-M0+ that has one core, but this only has prototyping boards for wireless solutions.Would I be right in my choice? Or would it be better to get the next one in line, a Cortex-M3?The objective would be to build a UART -> ISP gateway that would receive commands and draw the requested information on the screen. The hardware already exists and they don't want to change anything except small details on the UART port for this communication.Would a Cortex-M0+ be enough for this type of communication? I haven't yet evaluated issues with the ILI9341 protocol, such as memory requirements to store graphic representations.

Hello!Prehistory:USB DFU works flawlessly on another my design which is based on the STM32H743ZGT6.When it is powered on with BOOT0=1, I measure 3.3V on the USB_DP processor pin with a USB cable disconnected from the board.Problem:There is a USB DFU issue on the design based on the STM32F413VGT6.Facts for a power-on with BOOT0=1 (jumper X10 is not installed):1) USB_FS_DP voltage is about 0.2V2) the processor is not discovered as DFU when USB cable is connected to a PC3) R200 was replaced with 51 Ohm - no change in behaviour4) test firmware implements blinking LED, so when BOOT0=1, it is definitely is not executed, because the LED is off.When BOOT0=0 and test firmware configured USB as DFU, after power-on I measure 3.3V on the USB_FS_DP signal.

Hello everyone.I am currently considering using the STM32H735 AD converter.As shown in the figure, I have inserted a Schottky barrier diode and a 1kΩ resistor just before the ADC terminal pin for overvoltage protection.I was curious about the input impedance of the ADC pin, so I read the specifications, and I was wondering if RAIN corresponds to the input impedance? I will be using a 12-bit ADC, so in this case, will the impedance be MAX680Ω? If so, the signal level will drop, so I will have to reconsider the protection circuit.・What is the input impedance of the ADC pin?・If you are actually using this microcontroller, what type of protection circuit do you use?I would appreciate your advice. 

Good day everyone. I am working on the STM32H7 MCU and using the HAL library for controlling an SPI in DMA mode that has to exchange data with an external device in real-time. I'm working at the maximum possible CPU frequency and using the -O2 optimization, and still, there is a 3.5 microseconds delay between the call of SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA and the SPI transfer start, and then, after the SPI transmission start there is around 1.5 microseconds delay before the function returns.Does anyone have an optimized for performance SPI driver for use in DMA mode? I'm trying to avoid writing everything from scratch, so any input on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

I'm working on a custom PCB with an STM32H750VB and the ST-link is unable to find the target in both CubeProgrammer and St-link Utility via SWD, below are screenshots of some of the error messages I received and our microcontroller schematic. I've probed all of the VBAT, VDDA, VDDA, and VREF+ and they are all at 3.3V. All of the grounds are connected and are at 0V. I've tested the ST-link with a nucleo board and was able to connect to and program it. I measured VCAP1 and VCAP2 and they were at 1.008V, matching the voltage same pins on our nucleo board. The only odd thing I found was that NRST is at 0V when the board is powered. It's not shorted to GND and has a measured resistance of 16 Mohm. Even though the MCU has internal pullup on NRST, I tried adding an external pullup 10k but was still unable to receive a connection. Could there be an issue that my schematic is indicating? One possibility is that the chip could just be fried since the SWD connector pinout on

Hello,I am in the process of selecting a microcontroller for my application and would like some guidance on which microcontroller would be best suited for my project. My project has the following known specifications/interfaces:- x3 UART ports up to 512kbps- x2 SPI busses connecting to the INA229 (max SPI clock frequency of 10MHz)- Preferred operating temperature of -40C to 125CI understand the selection from an interface pinout perspective. However, I am not as well-versed in what I need from the maximum supported clock frequency/memory perspective. Any guidance would be appreciated. 

Good afternoon,  I have a question regarding the best strategy to follow on how to measure multiple channels with the ADC (triggered with timer) and map them to the DMA. I have followed the project called ADC_DMA_Transfer that can be found in the Project's folder of the U575 family and it works and i can see in my buffer the 5 values of the ADC that i want to monitor in continuous conversion mode. Hello,I am using a STM32H733VGT on a custom design board. On a fresh project in CubeMX, I tried to activate data cache but the autogenerated code crashes at  SCB_EnableDCache(); . (nothing has been activated on the CubeMX, just the external crystal and debugging port)i tried enabling or disabling MPU as well, same results.I need data cache for activating ethernet. Any help would be highly appreciated.
