Hey,I want to use the stm32h743 mcu, and to connect with a touch screen interface RGB Bus.in the EVB there is a capacitive touch screen.Does someone used before a ressistive touch screen with the mcu, including a resistive touch controller ?i would like to hear some recommendations.thanks!peleg

I'm trying to get a continuous GPDMA transfers from ADC4 into a buffer on a Nucleo-U5A5 board.  I'm not using any security settings. It seems that the ADC conversion are working correctly.  When debugging I can poll the DR and see the values change (4 potentiometers).  Examining the HAL DMA channel struct always show a Locked/Busy state.  List state is busy as well.  I assume that's expected for a continuously running transfer? My only problem is that the buffer I assigned for the transfer is not getting updated. Are there any SRAM location limitations for DMA transfers on the U5A5?  I've seen some references to it on other devices.  Any other gotchas with GPDMA on the U5A5?

I am utilizing the STM32F767Zi microcontroller unit (MCU) on a customized printed circuit board (PCB). During the debugging process, we are using the ST-Link V2 ISOL debugger. However, we are encountering an issue where the MCU is not being detected in the Integrated Development Environment (IDE), nor is it recognized in the STM32CubeProgrammer software. We have verified the hardware connections and checked the voltages across the MCU, confirming that the power supply and connections are stable and as expected. Despite this, the issue persists, suggesting the need for further investigation into potential firmware, software configuration, or compatibility problems.

I want to drive havfbridge with STM32G474. I am going to use TIMx with channel1 and channel2 to create two PWM signals, that are 180° out of phase and with the same PWM % that is limited to 0% < PWM % < 49%. Because tohose signals have max 50% duty cycle and are 180° out of phase, they cant be bot high at once. I already have code with multiple  __HAL_TIM_SET_COMPARE calls, but i heard about Complementary outputs.I dont find settings for this in my Cube MX , can anyone help? Option 1:- Use a 10MHz Timepulse signal from the GPS (Ublox M8N) and connect it to the STM32H7.- The STM32H7 will count the timer from 0 to 999999.- To determine when the second has passed and the NMEA signal arrives, check the next timer overflow, which will indicate the exact second. Option 2:- Use a 1Hz Timepulse signal from the GPS and synchronize the time with the same as option 1. I prefer a 10MHz or higher frequency Timepulse signal because I want to use it to trigger the Timer. This will trigger the ADC, ensuring that the ADC aligns with the GPS clock every 1us.

Dear sir, dear missis,I'm working with an STM32L053r8 on a step by step know-how. My interface with the bootloader runs fine, and I am able to cover the main features provided through this interface. The issues I try to cover now is the right understanding , how the Cortex M0+ runs at assembly level.  I done several tests without results today, I can continue to test with an iterative methodology; I can also use the debug port (SWD pin).I developped an interface to do that, but at this time I didn't received any answer from the debug port. I initialize RTC timer by first clearing RTC_CR register,then waiting until WUTWF bit is on, then setting RTC WUTR register to 100, and RTC_CR to 0x4420 (wakeup timer enable, wakeup interrupt enable, bypass shadow). Bypass shadow register is set for other things.This setting should generate interrupt 2048/100=about 20 times per secondNVIC is enabled for RTC wakeup interrupt, EXTI is properly set to rising edge for line 20.The interrupt handler clears bit in EXTI_PR1 by writing 1 and clear bit 10 in RTC_ISR.NET EFFECT: one interrupt is generated. that's all.What i am doing wrong.

Hi Team, We are working on STM32U5A9J-DK for one of our application interfaced with Octal SPI Flash.We needed to acheive RWW operation which is supported by our Flash chip and we have used OSPI1 and OSPI2 in multiplexed mode but we are controlling Chip select in software because of the limitation in STM32U5A9 chip and we were able to see Parallel operation of Write and Read which is RWW but an issue is we are unable to read the Bank stat register from the flash chip which gives information of the Bank number which is being Written while Read is happening. Now our doubt is it because of chip select controlled in software its not able to read volatile register properly? Any input on this?   Sanath

Hi,While working with RTC smooth calibration on a STM32G070 part, I noticed two strange things:1st strange thing: When RTC_OUT pin is only driven with the battery backup (no main power) I got 512.18 Hz; however, when the main power is restablished, the frequency drops to 508.38 Hz. I can see these frequencies in both, an oscilloscope and a frequency meter. 2nd strange thing: With the main power restablished, if I attached a multimeter (as a second frequency meter) the RTC_OUT frequency returns back to 512.18 Hz. Then I made an experiment: instead the multimeter, I used a 10KOhm resistor between RTC_OUT and GND and I got the 512.18 Hz again. Is that possible that RTC_OUT is somehow affecting the crystal circuitry? PC13 has been set as RTC_OUT pin. Any hints? Am I overlooking sth?

Hello,I was able to update F429 using boot-0 and CubeProg tool via USB. But requirement was to update without boot-0 pin. Please suggest alternatives for update from USB.Also wanted to know: I tried changing boot-0 to do DFU, using SW and HW reset but didn't work. Power cycle was required. Wanted to know does SW/ HW reset work?

Hello, I want to ask what is necessary for implementation of 32.768khz RTC XTAL to STM32F411CEU6?In AN3060 I saw in chapter 3, fig6 that external load caps are not needed because they are implemented in STM32 MCU. Then I checked STM32F411CEU6 datasheet and there is figure25 where is example that resonator have these caps in the package.What is correct? Provided information in ST documents quite confused me.I have this XTAL - ABS06-32.768KHZ-1-T Thank you for your advide. Regards, Martin

I am trying to figure out how to DFU a STM32G070CB, but finding the available documentation utterly useless.. According to this document : AN2606 "STM32 microcontroller system memory boot mode", my chip STM32G070 uses "Pattern 11":#1. I know what the boot0 pin is (it's a pin on the chip). BUT what is "nboot0", What is "nboot1", What is "BOOT_LOCK", ??????????? These are described NOWHERE in in my 93 page STM32G datasheet, nowhere in the , or any other document I can find#2: What are the four rows supposed to represent???  

Hello ST Community,I am working on an OTA (Over-The-Air) update implementation for an STM32L072 series microcontroller which has 192kb flash memory. In my setup, I have divided the flash memory into three regions: bootloader (starting at 0x08000000), App1 (0x08005000) which will initially running, and App2 (0x0801C000) where first firware binfile will be flash through OTA process. The bootloader handles jumping to the active application( suppose active app is 1 so it will set the msp and jump to that address for example in initial stage the msp is set at app1 address which is 0x08005000), and OTA updates allow switching between App1 and App2 slots( for example ones new fw will be flashed and CRC done the value for active app will be chnaged and will be store in flash and reset and again B.L will check and set msp and jump to that address).Here is my challenge: When performing OTA updates, the bin file includes a hardcoded vector table offset and flash

Hello, I am having issue with running two SPI (SPI2 & SPI 3) in two streams like Stream4 and Stream7 in single DMA1. Later on i checked  individually checking Stream4 for output1 and then Stream7 for output 2. I found out i am able to get the wave forms for Stream 4 but not able to get the output for Stream7. Hi,I am just starting to learn the STMCubeIDE debugger's capabilities. I have tested all the essential functions of the debugger on a led blink project, and after everything worked fine I moved on to an I2C code that actually requires some debugging. And this time it did not work properly. Starting in the top of the main function, I can only make two consecutive step overs until I get a hard fault. Step over acts like a step into, it still gets me inside every function. Pressing step into many times does not generate any faults, but once I get into blocking delay function, it becomes useless. I tried to use breakpoints and also tried it without any breakpoints. My step over still got me into every single function. Its also interesting, that this code does not work properly, but it gets to the infinite loop part - problems in the real time execution occur way later that during debugging. I've "developed" a ridiculously simple test program using STM32CubeIDE, for BlackPill STM32F411CE :on board LED blinks at 0,5 Hz.  Downloaded via ST-link plugged into USB. Browsing through Memory shows the downloaded code (Segment .text) matching the linker log file, all fine.Disconnect the ST-Link wires from board and plugging in a USB3 Cable into the up to now unused onboard USB port. Holding down boot0 button while tapping the RST button fires up STM ROM bootloader, which correctly senses a plugged in USB cable and presents the board as USB device 0483/df11, complete with text "STM32 BOOTLOADER",  again all well, one would think.However, firing up CubeProgrammer mode "USB" and clicking rescan button "no DFU detected" shows.Clocksetup ist 96MHz main clock and 48MHz USB clock(?) with the onboard external 25.000MHz crystal.Even after configuring the (in my program unused) USB as USB_OTG_FS device in "device only" mode, same

Hi everybody,I have TIM15, configured to PWM generation, in one shot configuration, using OC1N output. The output is set to 0 and timer disabled.. When I later initialize TIM1, the output of TIM15 goes high at the instant the Update event is generated. I noticed it depend on Fast mode setting - if not set, the output remains low.
