Hello, i am trying to use SPI2 on STM32H753VIT6 MCU using PD3 as Clock and PC2_C as MISO. Using the Hal libraries, i can generate clock on PD3 pin, and sensor answers me. But i dont get the sensor value on my software. Strange behaviour is, at its normal state i read 0xFF from PC2_C pin, but when i pull PC2_C to ground i can read 0x00. However i cannot read sensor data. When i changed the MISO pin to PB14 it worked. But i need PC2_C for my design. I have seen there have been people that had problems with PC2_C pin due to it being analog pin i assume. But i dont see anything on errata sheet. How can i solve my problem?Thank you.

Hello,I am developing a project using nucleo-l4r5zi ulp mcu. I am trying to find example codes for peripherals and generic components like rtc, iwdg etc but i am not able to find it in stm32cube ide as only middleware examples related to usb, rtos etc can be found when i search examples wrt the board. Can anyone share or guide me through the proper resources, where i can find examples for all functionalities of the board. Thank you 

Regarding the cause of HardFault_HandlerHardFault_Handler occurs at a specific timing in our software.I was able to determine which process was causing the problem by looking at the call stack, but is it possible to investigate the cause further by looking at registers or something else?

Hi STM Expert, This query is a continuation of the below ticket https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/no-activity-observed-in-tx-pin-of-fdcan-in-stm32g491kcu6/td-p/733712 Right now, we are testing the normal mode scenario where we have taken two STM32G491KCU6 MCUs and considered one as the Transmitter and one as the Receiver. Attaching the sample code we used for transmitting part and receiving part. Since we only have one STMLink, we cannot run both MCUs in debug mode. So the transmitter MCU is simply booted up and receiver end we are planning to run in debug mode so that we expect the Rx buffer to get filled and observe the same in Live Expressions tab.   Please let us know if this method is correct?

Hello,    I am using an STM32G0B0. My problem is, when my bootloader is calculating the CRC for the application that resides in program space, some of the data read from program space will be incorrect causing the CRC check to fail. My testing and checking revealed I received 5 incorrect bytes out of 448KBIf i go back and read the locations where these incorrect bytes came from, the debugger reveals that those locations read correct!So, It appears that there is some form of data corruption occurring when reading from the program space, and it is not consistent.Has anyone experienced this before?Could this issue be related to the "Prefetch failure when branching across flash memory banks" errata? (as I have had to disable the prefetch on this micro because i was experiencing that exact problem)ThanksStuart

I am using the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 board. All global variables are their initialized values up until SystemClock_Config() executes HAL_RCC_OscConfig() which executes HAL_InitTick(). Once it reaches that point, all the global variables get filled with garbage values, and the program counter seems to stop executing the source code in main.c, and loops around a file called 0x1FF0017C.The program did not always do this. it changed when I added code to debug the controller in LP run and stop mode. HiThere's a not-too-well worded paragraph from AN2606 on page 33:For STM32 devices embedding bootloader using the DFU/CAN interface in which theexternal clock source (HSE) is required for DFU/CAN operations, the detection of the HSEvalue is done dynamically by the bootloader firmware and is based on the internal oscillatorclock (HSI, MSI). When (because of temperature variations or other conditions) the internaloscillator precision is altered above the tolerance band (1% around the theoretical value),the bootloader can calculate a wrong HSE frequency value. In this case, the bootloaderDFU/CAN interfaces can malfunction, or not work at all. Does this mean the bootloader requires an external oscillator when you are using USB with the bootloader? My circuit doesn't have an external crystal, for the application I am using HSI and everything is fine including using USB device (CDC). I'd be happy to just use USART1

Hi.  We use the STM32F3 series for a number of products.  We were hoping to implement oversampling for the two ADC's based upon the Application Note AN5537, which indicated in Table 1 that the STM32F3 series has the oversampling engine on chip.  However I cant seem to find the registers typically used for this, or the X-CUBE-ADC_OVSP mentioned in the note.  Apologies if I am missing something obvious here but any guidance would be appreciated.  The intended MCU is the STM32F303K8T6.  Thank you.

Hello, I am facing the below scenario in my development board. I am trying to do OTA update in my RIverDI 5 inch display module. I receive the firmware chunk from the ESP board which is connected through the external connectors of the riverDI module and through USART1. The USART1 receives the firmware elf chunks and I need to store them in the STM32. The size of my elf file is more than 3MB and I cant directly store the data in the internal flash memory. The only option that I have right now is the external memory, but I am unable to read/write from it. When I looked through the internet, it was not suggested to write into the external memory since it is allocated for storing the TouchGfx Assets. But my only option is to store the elf file chunks in the external memory and use the same for the OTA update process. This is what I tried to do in my appliation. 1. I'm using the ST Cube environment (IDE + MX) to configure the SPI2 peripheral in Full-Duplex Master mode on a STM32F105VBHX chip.It seems like the peripheral is not driving the NSS (chip select) pin (PB12).  When the pin is selected for SPI2_NSS and the peripheral is configured with the "Hardware NSS Output Signal", no signal is driven on that pin when the SPI peripheral is clocking data.  Instead, it is held low constantly.If I configure that pin as GPIO, I can drive it with code just fine, which is what I am doing to get around the problem for now.  However, that is also problematic because I can't seem to depend on the HAL_SPI_TxCpltCallback and/or HAL_SPI_RxCpltCallback methods always getting called when a transaction completes.  Of course, this means some time is wasted.I don't see any references to SPI2 NSS in the silicon errata that apply to my situation (I

The code I wrote for the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 is supposed to count pulses on a falling-edge external interrupt pin. The pulse source is an Arduino which toggles its GPIO on and off every 5ms, for a 10ms pulse period. after 6 seconds, the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 transmits the accumulated pulses to a receiving B-L072Z-LRWAN1 device (using proprietary peer-to-peer communication [confirmed to work properly]), which after 6 seconds should receive a count of 600 pulses. The 6 second timer has been confirmed to trigger a callback every 6 seconds.My issue is that only 300 pulses are being send, which implies that the interrupt is only being called or incrementing every other time. There is an IoT bridge which takes the pulse input from both the arduino and the receiving STM32 device, and displays the pulse count on an IoT platform. the graph shows that the pulse rate for the STM32 is exactly half of what is coming from the Arduino. I have a program with various tasks, in one of these I send a request and, after that, I wait for a response, so I have a cycle like this SendRequest(); do { WaitResponse(); DelayMillisecondS(200); }while (Timerisnotexpired()); the Problem is that the answer takes time to be given and I receive messages like this "Target is not responding, retrying...", sometimes I receive a sequence of this messages and the debug connection terminates. Probably, the clock to the stlink fails, but I don't know how to make up with this. I have lowered the frequency of swd interface and I have enabled "Suspend watchdog counters while halted", but the problem remains.Any help would be appreciated.Thank youIsabella

Hi,I am thinking using the STM32U5G9VJT6Q and configure the USB to USB-OTG but never used USB OTG before.The PCB would have its own power supply and only work when power is applied through it and never take power from the USB connector. The USB would also be USB 2.0 using Type C connector but without any of the fancy external ICs for handshaking and power management.Considering the above and configuring the USB to OTG (so I can change it to be either device or host at runtime):- if configured as host, I assume the power to the device connected be provided directly from the 5V of the PCB without any microcontroller control of it. Is that correct?- for the OTG is the OTG_HS_ID pin I assume I connect it straight to the MicroUSB connector or Type-C connector. Is that correct or do I need to have some logic/devices in between? Thank you :)

I followed this video for CAN-bus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfWlIY0zAIc&t=918s but as simply as it looks, my configuration doesnt seem to work, I'm working on the NUCLEO-F767zi, I started a new project with default config simply adding CAN1, no other pin configured or device added. With the oscilloscope, I can see the CAN_TX pin toggling, but nothing received in LoopBack Mode. I attached the main.c file and the .ioc file.     I read the discussion on this post but I cant use the same solution, not really sure why (I'm no expert in clock configuration). Thank to whoever will give his opinion about it.

I recently saw your presentation of HSO in motor control.I have a couple of questions:1) Is the HSO algorithm implementable in the B-G431ESC board? Hello,    We are using STM32L552ZET6Q MCU in our project. Here we are using only 3 UART Pheripherals, 2 LED output GPIOs.    Here We attached the CUBEMX .ioc file of the our project. After the code generation from the STM32CUBEMX, we complete our's own program for the project.    In this code we are using LPUART1 and USART2 to communicate  a PC for Serial monitoring. UART4 used to Serial communication with another one MCU. Two LED GPIO used to indication purpose.   After the code completion we flashing the code to the STM32L552ZET6Q  MCU and  it works fine. But most of the time, the controller not working properly, it means the MCU not Communicate with PC and Another one MCU. After the reset Power it will working properly. We cant find whats the problem occure in that time. We doubt this controller may goes to sleep mode or standby mode or shutdown mode maybe. Because the controller was
