Hello,I have two core boards:1st: Nucleo-64 with STM32L476RGT6U 64 pins, 1Mb of flash memory and 128 Kbytes of SRAM.2nd: Nucleo-144 with STM32F429ZIT6U with 144 pins, 2Mb of flash memory and 256+4 Kbytes of SRAM.I have a little experience only with PIC18F and I am new to STM32 and CUBE IDE, I just took a course on these tools.I have a project to develop, which involves reading 3 analog readings at a frequency between 5 and 20 Khz, for a period of at least 2 minutes. These readings will be made or more, during the entire process of monitoring a mechanical weld.So there are 15 thousand readings X 120 seconds = 1,800,000 readings.1- Can I use one of the core boards, I have to develop this project using ADC with continuous buffer and perhaps DMA together? Is this type of configuration correct?2- Considering 12 or 16-bit readings, are they capable of storing all this information in RAM during the entire process?3- If t

hi,I am trying to connect ili9341  - STM32F722ZE FSMC- TFT but i couldn't succeed .ili9342 16bit - is working in direct GPIO 16 bit data PORT drive with STM32F722ZE not in FSMC-TFT . Looks most of the ili9341 working with FMC-TFT STM32F4 Series   around the internet.Really ILI9341 will work with F7 Series ? and MPU is mandatory with FSMC-TFT ? .Plan to STM32H7B0VBT6 with LTDC display before start that can i test STM32H7B0VBT6 with ili9341- FMC ? .  

Hello STM32G0B1 For some obscure reason, sometimes the systick handler function is not called anymore.I mean, it works for some time then it does not work anymore. It looks like it is more likely to happen when I'm debugging but I have no factual information to provide for this assumption.Here's the content of the systick registers: The IT is activated. VTOR is at adress 0. I don't have any reason to change this.What can I do to have a clue to understand what happen? ThanksJulien

My V2 is having communication link issues with my STVP.  It was running fine and then boom I get hit with a notification that"Cannot communicate with the device!Check the SWD cable connection and check all the needed pin connections on the SWD connector. Reboot the ST-Link with USB cable.If the device has been programmed with Protection Level 2, no more communication is possible."What can I do to fix the issue?  I am not sure how to reboot the ST-Link with the usb cable nor understand why all of a sudden there would be a protection level on the device.  I am sorry I am not very tech savy I have been thrown onto this project. I did have to install the driver once I noticed the connection issue on the device manager.Please help.

We're working on a new design using the STM32H753, partly based on the fact the memories have ECC implemented, but the documentation does not mention what technology is used for the FDCAN message RAM.Can someone elaborate on what protections exist for data integrity between CRC validation and a read from message RAM?Likewise, is there any protection against or indication of memory faults for any other features supported by message RAM?

I'm using CMSIS-RTOSv2 middleware which I configure through CubeMX. The files generated by CubeMX are somewhat different from the ones from official CMSIS-RTOSv2 github repository where latter has all implementations for memory pool functions and my project, whose code is generated through CubeMX, doesn't have them. Upon inspection of "cmsis_os2.h" header file I found that declarations for memory pool functions are provided but no implementations are given inside "cmsis_os2.c" file. I have CubeMX updated to latest version.Any ideas why are memory pool functions in CMSIS-RTOSv2 literally cut out of implementation file?

Hi guys,I want to use the STM32F769I-Discovery for a PiL-Simulation in MATLAB/Simulink. As a serial connection I use a USB A to Micro B that is plugged in at the CN15 USB ST-link Port on the microcontroller.. The thing is that when I want to run my model in PiL it doesn't detect the STM32 controller. In the Model Configuration Parameters I checked the COM Port which is in my case COM5. I also installed the ST-Link Debug which is listed in the USB devices section on my device manager. I am thankful for any piece of advice.

I am currently working on the LoRaWAN_END_NODE example project for a stm32WL . And I want to receive external data via uart and use the LoRaWan process continually, however I am getting problems. The UART is giving invalid data after the sequencer is being initialized.Edit: I have tried the suggestions below, I have put the gps into a task for the sequencer to run. I have also disabled low power mode. I still get invalid data from the UART that I don't receive when the sequencer is not on.Is this a clock issue? Any ideas?

If I understand correctly, the BKPT instruction is "promoted" to hard fault when debugger is not connected.Is it possible to tweak STM32H7 so that BKPT will be silently ignored?-- pa

It works at first, then it can stop workingIt can be cured by commenting out an unused function or changing the optimization type.It works for a while, then it stops. And I have 2 identical boards. It works on one,on the other it doesn't.I ask for help. I am attaching my project. What could be the problem?If not, can you fix your bootloader W25Q128_STM32H7XX-CUSTOM27.FLM ?It doesn't work for me.

I want to port from STM32L433 MCU to STM32F410 MCU for my application. I am using an ECLIPSE IDE and OpenOCD debugging and have custom drivers (not the HAL from stm) for L4 for peripherals and clock. The underlying hardware has changed to F410 and I want to know the differences in L4 to F4. Hi, first time using DMA so just reading various datasheets and posts. But something is not clear.   I would like to use DMA with UART to send large amount of data through the serial port while keeping the CPU as free as possible for other intensive tasks. So I am thinking of using HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA() but, because of the large amount of data that needs to be sent, I might need to call HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA() very often with the risk to it being called while the previous HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA() call/operation is still running.   Is there a way to somehow append - or perhaps automatically queue - the new data right at the moment I need to so the code can keep executing, instead of having to wait and check for when the current DMA action is completed (whether inline or through interrupts)?   Also is there a limit to the data size I can send with HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA() ?   Perhaps using two chan

I removed the STlink of the NUCLEO F722ZE board and wrote it, but there was a clock error, so the program itself is not working It worked normally when there was Stlink, but it's not working I set it to HSI and used it, but it didn't work, so a clock issue occurred to switch to HSE, so I thought it would be okay to just debug it, but at some point, the clock didn't work, so it didn't come out of stop mode I set it as an rtc alarm and woke it up, but it seems like a clock error when it stops after going well How can I fix this error? Stlink uses a lot of electric current, so it needs to be removed I removed only the stlink from the hardware, but this is the situation Original settings before removing STlink  

I have a pile of boards with STM32F303RCT7 MCU that are pulling a ton of current, i.e. they are fried.I tried VI curve analysis but I'm not finding anything that leads me to why they blew up.Can anyone suggest a good failure analysis lab that I can send the dead parts to?

I have something that doesn't work, the first time I write on a file, all is correct, but if I rewrite on the same portion of the file, the writing seems to be correct, but, when reading, the content hasn't changed. Do you have found something similar? Is there a project where is possible to have the FILEX working with this demoboard?Thank you

I'm working on a design that involves using an STM32F04 acting as a USB-CDC to RS232 bridge to communicate with the main logic of the system, in preference to dedicated RS232 USB chips that require dedicated drivers. In addition to this, the STM32 is also driving an I2C device and bridging it over SPI to the main logic. All of this works well. The I2C is also connected both to the CPU and the main logic, though the main logic does nothing with this interface normally, but allows me to test the issue below.When I came to investigate having the main logic update the firmware of the STM32, I identified an issue - though I was able to boot the STM32 into its ROM bootloader, I can't actually access it - it doesn't respond on the I2C or the UART.Having consulted AN2606, it lists the following ports as used by the bootloader in the STM32F04:- PA11 (USB-)- PA12 (USB+)- PA9 (USART1 TX)- PA10 (USART1 RX)- PA14 (USART2 TX)- PA15 (USART2 RX)
