I have the following problem with my STM32H743:I want to use the ADC3 for an injected conversion, but the ADC3 interrupt does not call the ADC3_IRQHandler, instead the SysTick_Handler is called whenever an ADC3 interrupt happens.  When I read the ISPR from the SysTick_Handler, I can check which interrupt is active and clear the interrupt in the ADC3 ISR register. (So technically I can get everything to work, but I don't want to handle the ADC3 interrupt in the SysTick_Handler) I already read the NVIC registers while debugging and the ADC3 interrupt definitely happens, it just isn't handled by the right handler.I also checked the ISR vector table in the FLASH to see, if the entry for the ADC3 interrupt holds the wrong value but it points to the ADC3_IRQHandler as it should. I am all out of ideas where to l

Hello!I'm facing an odd problem with STM32H750VB MCU and the USB Host routine on a custom board. I'm working with the latest HAL (v1.11.2) at 400 MHz and USB using the 48 MHz internal RC, "host only" mode + FatFs "read-only". The software is quite simple: it detects a flash drive, mounts it and try to open a text file. If so, the file is closed, the flash drive is unmonted and then, the board is reset by "HAL_NVIC_SystemReset". The issue lies on this: after the board reboot with the flash drive still connected to the USB, the software detects it but doesn't enumerate it. It waits up to 30 seconds for the enumeration and then, a new reset is triggered, After that, it works! Keeping it cycling, the 1st reset works, the 2nd reset don't, the 3rd reset works, the 4th don't, and so on... Within this 30 seconds waiting, if I remove the flash drive from USB and plug it again, works flawless. Do you guys have any ideia about this beha

Hi all,we are encountering difficulties in activating the compensation cell option. Even if the SYSCFG_CMPCR bit 0 has been configured as 1 we never get the READY in bit 8 (always 0).Various tests have been carried out, but to no avail, so let's start from the beginning. Could you list what are the steps for activation to be successful for this microcontroller?  BRStefano

Hello,I'm working with two F4 STM32 boards using the SPI communication.The two boards are connect to each other using the SPI1 connectivity. The first board is configured as a Master and only send data. And the second is configured as a Slave and only receive data. The Baude Rate of the master is set to 656KBits/s. I disable the Hardware NSS Signal.  And the rest of the configuration is left as default.My problem with my code is that I only get data with one iteration. The callBack function is just called once. Hi, I've got an application which is running on an STM32F746ZGT. During in the field firmware upgrades, it has to erase part of the device's internal flash memory and then write to the flash. The problem I'm trying to overcome is to enable the device to continue executing code during the erase operation, which takes around 5 to 6 seconds. To do this, I'm moving some of the code chunks that I want to keep running during the erase operation into RAM. There's an interrupt and also the ISR vector that I'm moving into RAM.  I know TZEN is used to enable TrustZone. At first, this made sense, but now I think about the MCU implementing the Security/TrustZone, and it sounds strange that TrustZone can be disabled. So my question is, what does it really do ? Does it really somehow disable (power down?, clock gated?) the TrustZone related things (SAU, GTZC etc.) ? so there is really a signal somewhere inside the die that enables/disables this. Or, is the TrustZone in the core always enabled and TZEN just reconfigures things so everything runs like a secure binary or maybe nothing generates a security fault ?

Hi Team,We are using a STM32F407ZG MCU and we have a UI interface (LCD, Keypad, touch) on SPI1 polling method.We are using SPI2 and SPI3 for DAC interfacing. We have used DMA with time triggered for the SPI2 and managing the SPI3 with Timer.During testing we are seeing the touch is freezing after enabling the SPI2 and SPI3.Individually all are working fine.Appreciate any lead on this.Thanks,Maqsood 

Hi Everyone,I use STM32L083 MCU. My code has two sections which are bootloader code and main code. Bootloader Code Start Address : 0x0800000Main Code Start Address           : 0x08006400I implemented low power mode in my main code and used  "HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode(PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); " functions. If my main code start adress is 0x08006400, enter stop mode functions is not working and current consumption is around 1-2 mA. However, If I dont use bootloader and arrange main code start adress as 0x0800000, enter stop mode functions is working and current consumption is around 1-10 uA . Can you provide a solution to make the first case work? Best Regards,Nuri

Hello,Am using STM32H745XI device same as the disco board and external flash on QSPI (MT25QL512A) single chip flash. IAR IDE is used for development. Though there are reference driver codes available for MT25QL512A but different controller is used. It may take sometime to develop a loader from scratch using STM32H745 and MT25QL512AIs there a .stldr file available which you can share which uses the same pins as the STM32H745 disco board with MT25QL512A in single flash mode?Thanks & Regards,Anuj

Hi,i just tried to see the reaction on some events on a system with H7A3 cpu and was surprised:EXTI response time was 50 us !  This is a lot for a ARM cpu running at 200MHz - too much, i would say.ED: wrong timings measured, my error : pins have cer.caps to filter out noise - and also make delays on the signal. See "solution" , timing measured on pin without any caps -> to INT (setting other pin) is close to expected.Here the wrong timings :So i made some tests :EXTI response time on external signal , setting a port pin in INT , check on a DSO the delay:on H7A3 , at 200MHz core, I-cache on, -O0 : 50 us !! As RM said，SWPMI can serve only as Master interface, Whether SWPMI can communicate with itself ? such as Board1 SWPMI (transfer)  communicate  with Board2 SWPMI (receiver) . 3.When internal transceiver is bypassed(SWP_TBYP=1),the SWPMI_TX、SWPMI_RX and SWPMI_SUSPEND signals can connect an external transceiver. Hi to all.I have an H-bridge motor drive that I'm having some EMC issues with. There are always conflicting requirements. I want to drive the FET's hard , for power dissipation reasons , but faster gate rise times mean higher harmonic frequency generation. Would PWM dithering help in this regard. It's something that is used a lot in SMPS controller chips to reduce noise , so I assume it could also be used in a PWM drive circuit.I realize that PCB layout is probably the biggest influencing factor in EMC/EMI issues , but everything I can add to reduce noise will help. I'm limited to a 2 layer board , so layout is tricky.CheersRob

Hi I am working on SBSFU Application project from STM32U585 project. I have done below changes to the existing project.1. Added my project code SBSFU_Appli_NonSecure project.2. Previously this project was assigned 192KB and it was hardly using 3% of it. And now the requirement is of more RAM, I have increased RAM boundry to 256KB as below in STM32U585AIIX_FLASH.ldRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = NS_DATA_START, LENGTH = 256KB/*NS_DATA_SIZE*/3. STM32H745 datasheet says:RTC_OUT can come out PB2 port. No other port is listed in the DS for RTC_OUT. See table 8, page 62. RTC_OUT also listed in table 10, page 90, and note for PC13, page 92.STM32H745 reference manual says:RTC_OUT can be directed to PC13 or PB2, with PB2 not being useful in standby/VBAT modes. See table 387, page 2081.Okay, so which document is correct?My instincts say the RM likely is correct, but building PCBs based on instinct will end up costing you someday, so I want the documents to be clear and consistent.

While I am trying to write data in flash in memory it isn't being updated in the particular memory location while checking in debug session. And memory locations are showing 00000000 by default instead of FFFFFFFF and the image for same is attached hereby.I have also added one file named FLASH_PAGE.c which is also attached hereby. Kindly provide some solution for this issue. 

basically, qspi is know to operate in memory mapped mode. where,fmc_nor flash used to operate in what? is the nand flash is only operates on non memoey mapped mode, where memory needs some driver to access . please, clear this doubt best regards, jr_mbed_engr

How can add an external LSE oscillator to the STM32C011F4U6TR device as described in the datasheet (page 53)?I'm not able to find OSC32_IN and OSC32_OUT in the pin assignment. Instead, I've found OSC32_EN (pin1 of STM32C011F4U6TR) but I'm not understand what it is for.Could anyone clarify this?Gaston

Hi All,I have a 50MHz clock with 1Vpp and the MAC is not working. The only information I have from the RM and datasheet is this is a digital input pin and never mentioned about the voltage level. Please help what is the clock pulse VPP for RMII reference clock pin ?Thank you in advance. 

As I am working on the stm32G474VETx with LQFP100 packing. For master and slave, I am using same type of board. I am implementing the MODBUS communication using the fiber optic cable but every time I am getting the error code 06 showing that the salve is busy. I am requesting the everyone what is the possible reasons getting the slave in busy state. And mention the how to fix them. I need to operate this in at least in the 1 Mbps to 2. I implementing the MODBUS using the UART Communication. Mention some of the example code implementing MODBUS in stm32 using the polling method, interrupt method and DMA method.
