I am using the DMA to transfer data from UART 1 (Channel 2) and UART 2 (Channel 4). Every once and awhile the data seen on UART 2 which has a lower DMA priority will be "corrupted" by the UART 1 data. I know this because when I disable UART 1 routines, UART 2 receives perfectly everytime. This is never an issue with transmission on UART 2 even when UART 1 is enabled.This is on the STM32F072CBU6 MCU. I have a STM32H7 with it's FMC signals hooked up to an FPGA in order to allow the microcontroller to peak/poke into FPGA registers.  I had a FIFO in this address space that, if read, would automatically increment to the next value.  I was noticing on occasion having two read requests for what should be only a single read in the code (causing data loss on the FIFO).  I found this old post: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32f7-fmc-dummy-read/td-p/419015 in which someone saw the same issue and found out that interrupts were coming in causing the FMC to repeat the read once returning from the interrupt handler.  I tried disabling interrupts and saw my problem go away. What's odd is that I saw this happening very frequently on reads (occurring anywhere from a couple hundred to a few thousand reads in) but when

Tried to write a basic ltdc test not using hal and wen I pause the debug wen  changing a ltdc register it disconnects and says could not be halted whats going on

I'm currently working on an embedded project with stm32f469 microcontroller and trying to communicate with dps368 sensor using SPI communication. DPS368 is operating in mode 3 and now I'm facing an issue where I'm not receiving any data when I'm transmitting a command (0x8D) to get dps368's id. All I get is a flat line (0x00) for the MISO line from my logic analyzer.   Also, I noticed that when I'm in mode 3 (In the stm32cubdeide: CPOL high, CPHA 2Edge), the clock is not operating based on the expected operation of SPI communication. The expected operation of SPI in mode 3 is that when the chip select that's idle high is triggered (changes state to low), the clock will start with a high-level pulse. What I'm getting is, for the first time of transmission of the data, the clock is still initially low even if the chip select already changed its state to low. The clock will only become initially high when there's a transmission of data.

Hello,I have tried to set up USART1 Receive in DMA mode and with FreeRTOS. RX is GPDMA channel 0, Circular mode, Destination increment address on, burst size 16 bytes, priority Medium. Source increment off, burst 1 byte.USART1 : 115200 baudrate, 8 bits, no parity, stop 1 bit, Async.Timebase: TIM1.The receive was working as intended, before I implemented FreeRTOS, I cannot track exact sequence, but now input (3-4+ characters) will trigger both TC and HT at the same time, with number of times called proportional to bytes received 40 bytes ~ 10 callbacks. Buffer is 16 bytes, so no callbacks should have been activated and it is not working way it should.Next only the LAST four bytes will be actually written to the FIRST buffer cells, so input of "flag5341" will write 3,4,1,\r into the [0]-[3] buffer.This looks like some fundamental issue, and I am not sure where it exactly breaks it. How can I make it work?Tha

Hello,STM32F103RB microcontrollers.Why do TIM6 and TIM7 timers and its registers not define in CMSIS in stm32f103xb.h file (see Figure 1 below)?Figure 1Therefore, it is impossible to use this TIM6->ARR = 0x0001; instruction and similar to this instruction with registers of TIM6 and TIM7 timers.

Hi , In SPWM generation ,in Center align mode ,May i require give one sine table value twice , in the upword and down counting sequence .  Original sine wave values: [A1, A2, A3, ..., A200] DMA array: [A1, A1, A2, A2, A3, A3, ..., A200, A200] like wise the DMA array ?other wise is it distroted ? @MM..1  

I am using 5 adc values (emg[5]) and can get the value of them. I want to use these values in the main statement, so I assigned it.However I can't get the value. It's always zero.  (good[0] = emg[0])

I am still a beginner in STMicroelectronics programming. I am trying to do UART serial communication on STM32 Nucleo C031C6. USART2 seemed to be disabled on CubeMx while trying to configure the pins so I used USART1. I am using RealTerm as my serial monitor. Hello,STM32F103RB microcontroller.The Figure1 (see attached image) shows clock tree of STM32F103RB microcontroller. Before TIM6CLK, there is a block, which is highlighted in red rectangle. What's IF (APB1 PRESCALER  = 1) x1 ELSE x2 label in this red rectangle? APB1 prescaler can't equal to  "1". APB1 prescaler can be in states listed in the Figure2 (see attached image).

Hi everyone,For any timer, counter mode is equal to center aligned mode 3/2/1 except for up or down there are phase sub. between pwm channels with different duty values. There is no phase sub channels with same duty values. For example, in TIM1 with center aligned mode 3, I have selected channel 1 and channel 2 for pwm generation, Arr =100, there is phase sub forTIM1->CCR1=50 and TIM->1CCR2=75, there are no phase sub same values and up/down counter mode. Thank's for valuable comments.

I am trying to set up PWM on Channel 1, 2, 3 of TIM3. At first I set up only Channel 1 and the output voltage of PWM is 2.8V. But after I set up the other two channels, the output voltage of Channel 1 & 3 gets to 3.6V, while that of Channel 2 is still 2.8V. Hi,I want to flash my STM32L452RET6P using a .hex file. I am however struggling with the fact that STM IDE generates a .hex file with lines with only one WORD instead of the only supported double WORD when writing. So I need to buffer and assemble each double WORD from the .hex file. This involves a lot of tinkering for me, as in: how to buffer, how to know for sure we can finally write and so on. I have an STM32G473 on an existing board, and now the need to trigger Timer 2 in "One Pulse Mode" from a hardware input has come up. No problem, I thought, as I knew that the MCU has an event system. I simply assumed that I could generate an event with the EXTI, and use that as a trigger for Timer 2.Yeah, I know. Never assume.As I read the manual, the events generated by EXTI cannot be connected to the trigger input on the timers. In order to do this, I apparently need to use one of the TIMx_ETR inputs. Otherwise, I am pretty much stuck with what is available in the manual's table 272 - 277.If I am wrong about this, please let me know. That would save me some impractical hardware changes with super-thin wires on teeny-tiny component pins, and such.

WHile debugging for a custom board this is what I am facing Break at address "0x1fff4080" with no debug information available, or outside of program code. This is the code that I am trying to run . What is the reason for this error and how it can be curated .  I have already verified the most common reason i.e. BOOT0 pin which has been pulled low. I have attached the main.c file to this post   

I recently bought a brand new STM32H747I-DISCO board from mouser. Read up user manual and tried to use it for the first time. When I connect it to PC with USB cable, LD10 lights up red. Then LD8 lights up green and LD10 starts blinking red. STM32CubeProgrammer cant detect the board. The board doesn't show up anywhere on the PC. I checked that JP6 is set to STlk. If I understand correctly, LD8 turning on means the whole board is powered. But I don't think LD10 should be blinking. I have been looking for documentation on LD10 behavior but could not find any. Tried pressing B1 (Reset) and B2 (Wake UP). It still does not connect to PC. The board should have a preloaded program but nothing like that runs either. The display doesn't turn on. Can I get a little help with this problem? Thank you very much for your time. PS: For additional information, the display is MB1166 Rev.A
