On my custom board based on the STM32G071CBT6 mcu I use ADC multichannel DMA conversions, DMA continuous requests, triggered by TIMER2 out event and driven with HAL library (STM32G0 firmware package V1.6.2). I get ADC conversion results by the conversion complete callback.My first application firmware version initializes ADC sequencer in fully configurable mode. I had to convert four ADC channels in sequence, but three of them could be changed run-time to other ADC channels among the ADC_IN1 – ADC_IN14 range. Hello,I have a question regarding doing a firmware update via the USART-pins and IO-Link.Would it be possible to use a IO-link master module to sent an update to the L6362A which translates it to 3.3V UART for the STM32G0B1KEU6 we are using in our current project.I couldn't find anything about this. It seems possible but I would need some guidance.We're using the UART1_pins. These allow for a firmware update on them.  Thanks in advance!

Hi, Community,I'm trying to understand the OCTOSPI peripheral on my STM32L4P5. I'm new to STM32, but old in embedded. Particularly, I need to know/affect the idle level of the data line of the OCTOSPI. I thought that the last transmitted bit would remain there...But no, I encountered a really weird behaviour. See for yourself. I created a simple program periodically test sending 16 bytes. Hello,I am using "NUCLEO-H743Zi2" eval board. I am using it for UART communication. I had configured UART4 in it as following;PA0 as UART4_TXPA1 as UART4_RXWhen I tried to transmit, it is not transmitting more than 2 bytes. While receiving, it is not at all consistent (random values are received).So I checked board's schematic as following;I saw that PA1 and PA0 are not directly connected to CN11 connector in the board. Is it causing UART4's transmission and reception error? Also if I want to operate UART4 using GPIO's PA0 and PA1 only, what is the solution?

Hi,I'm attempting to set up an STM32U575 as an I2C slave. (The master is a F301)My problem is that the slave only receives one byte, and then proceeds to disregard all of the following data.I have set up a switch that turns on an RGB LED, depending on the value received by the slave at the variable secondary_mcu_state (0 = LED OFF, 1 = LED RED, 2 = LED GREEN, 3 = LED BLUE). The master continually counts 0-3 and sends to slave.What I find curious is that after having started HAL_I2C_Slave_Receive_DMA() and then stepping through the while loop code, the program acts as desired: The LED is changing color continuously, and the i2c handler mode is appropriately set to HAL_I2C_MODE_SLAVE:

Hello im Khoi. i get big trouble with stm32l431rct, when i using freeRtos . Task1 i using spi comunication . Task2 i get ADC DMA . When i disable Task2 program no problem. But i enable task2 get problem spi hardfault-Handler . Excuse me :(( 

Hi during development of program I found weird behaviour. I am using STM32G030C8T6 MCU. I am trying to connect external device using HC-05 bluetooth module. In my project I also connect with devices using MAX3485 module for RS485 communication. I wrote python app on laptop to send information to my MCU. Information is interpreted in MCU and then it answers with same information to external device to ensure correctness of communication. Everything worked well until I started to listening for response from RS485 devices. Somehow request for connection and then first request from laptop, before sending any data to RS485 devices, works as desired, but after that any data obtained from MCU is seen on laptop as 0x0b in hexadecimal. I only send one byte of information in bluetooth communication. First I thought that maybe there is a problem with priority of interrupts but then I changed NVIC settings for UARTs in .ioc file for 1 for RS485 and 0 for bluetooth and nothing changed. Also weird

I have a breakpoint in the interrupt, but when i debug this point, the scope does not show the signal (red) as expected.It should be high and not low, as you can see in the picture.

Hello,I have custom board with STM32F301R8T6 and connected 4 channel slider sensor. I want to copy an example present in STM32CubeIde called TouchSensing_Linear. There in the configuration files such as tls_user.c, tls_user.h are includes for tls.h and tsl_acq_tsc.h, i suppose are library files for STM32_TouchSensing_Library. When i copy the code into my existing project, there is unresolved inclusion. My question is, how do i include the whole STM32_TouchSensing_Library in my project so all inclusions are resolved. Also, if I have to copy it from the example, where do I put it? In the Inc folder (which is on the same level as Src)? The library I found in the examle project has only tls.c files without the headers, or I found out so far, will it be a problem?Thanks for answers,Lost engineering student

Hi,Some doubts on the ECC functionality on STm32h74x.How can we know if the data can be corrected for cases DEDF and DEBWDF ? I always see the DEDF and SEDF fields set in my case. This bits are set when the control is hit the main(), and then I cleared it forcefully by writing 0x03 to M3SR and M4SR (when the control is at the red line). But, these bits were set immediately when I stepped into the next instruction (see below snapshot). Why is this so ?

Hello,I am using a STM32G491 in LQFP48 package. In the RM0440 rev8 page 2122 the package code for LQFP48 is 01011. But I read 01001 which would be LQFP32. The device id 0x479 is correct. Is there a reason for this? Thanks.

Hello,I have a custom H743 board with Microchip USB3340 external PHY (REFCLK = 24MHz, dedicated external oscillator)In an code that use ChibiOS, my configuration should achieve HS mode, but ultimately, after handshake, it revert to FS mode (12Mbits/s) : so it works, but it is slow.In order to understand where I am wrong, I have flashed STM32F7Cube(V1.17.1)/STM32746G-Discovery/Applications/USB_Device/MSC_Standalone/SW4STM32/STM32746G-DISCOVERY_USBD-HS on a discovery F746, but problem is same : when plugged on a computer (tried several : windows and linux, different usb cables) official ST MSC HS demo connect in FS mode, not HS mode with same symptoms : slow transfert rate.Can some someone can point me a working MSC HS demo, or has clues why ST demo don't do HS, and if there is a way to fix that ?ThanksAlexandre

I'm working with a legacy project that uses some EEPROM emulation code on a STM32F103 MCU. I need to find the original release file containing eeprom.c and eeprom.h of that emulation code. I am currently using a FreeRTOS example project with the stmwL55, but instead of the defaulted heap 4, I am selected heap 5 in the ioc to utilize RAM2 for the 28kb. The build analyzer shows that my RAM1 only has 50% usage and RAM2 is at 0% so I am not sure what else I have to do for my memory to actually be used.

I'm creating some SPI slave code using an STM32 on a G474RE board.  The protocol is that the master sends two command bytes, and then the slave sends back a single byte response.  My SPI is a little rusty, but as I recall the way you do this is to have the master send a third byte (just 0x00) and the slave response will show up in MISO.That's working just fine, what I'm curious about is the data that shows up on MISO while the master is sending his two command bytes on MOSI.  It seems like the STM32 just picks a random byte it sent sometime in the past and sends it again.  It's not a big deal, I really only care about the third byte, but it makes me a little nervous to have random data wandering around on SPI.Am I doing something wrong?  Is this just the way the STM32's SPI works?  Is there a way to tell the STM32 "if you have nothing to send, send a zero"?Thanks,Chris 

Because there appear to be little/no stock of the STM32U535CEU (QFN Version) I'm left with a dilemma of whether to use the built in SMPS.  Some documentation in another post describes how to connect up when not using it but how do you switch between using the LDO and the SMPS?  I can't see any options in the CUBE IDE .ioc file...

Hi eveyone,I have a problem with RTC wake up. I use LSE 32.768kHz.I run example from manufacturer to wake up MCU from Stand by mode very 1min, 2mins. Everything work okay.But, When I put delay 10s and HAL_PWR_EnterSTANDBYMode(); into while(1). Everything is not okay.The RTC does not wake up on time, when I delay 10s it will lack of 10s, when I delay 20s it lack of 20s. Hi expert, our project is currently in the development stage. We are using the NUCLEO-H753ZI Development Kit for firmware development while awaiting the arrival of our custom board from the manufacturer. The dev-kit employs the STM32H753ZI (LQFP144), which has a slightly different pin configuration compared to the MCU on our custom board STM32H753ZI (LQFP100).During our development process, we encountered an issue with using PC2_C to control SPI2 (SPI2_MISO), where it consistently pulls low. Despite extensive debugging efforts, including configuring the pin as GPIO and measuring with a logic analyzer, the issue persisted. HiWe are trying to use the f746 disco kit as a udp server that writes what it receives to an SD card. The kit is currently connected directly to a PC with ethernet and usb. As this is our first stm project, we tried following several tutorials that are avaialbe online, which we felt were outdated. We couldn't even ping the kit or get the IP we added to show on the computer's "ipconfig". Any help would be appreciated!Thanks

I'm currently working on a project using an STM32F103RET microcontroller. I need to use SPI1 to write log data to a flash chip at an rate of 64 bytes every 20 milliseconds, and use USART3 monitoring external communication, receiving an average of 30 bytes every 10 milliseconds. To minimizing CPU usage, I'm trying use DMA to handle data transmission, and find that SPI1_TX and USART3_RX share a same DMA channel (DMA1,channel 3).The question is, is it possible to use DMA1 Channel 3 for both SPI1_TX and USART3_RX simultaneously on an STM32F103?(My code runing in main loop without RTOS)
