Hi, STM Experts,Recently, we are investigating if STM-H5 MCU with I3C SDR support could meet our system requirement. We now have a following question, and hope get support from you.In our system, there will be not only I3C devices but also I2C legacy devices which can work at 400Kbps or 1Mbps modes. As for legacy I2C protocol, mutli-master feature is supported so that any of the I2C device can start a communication transaction when a bus is in an idle state. Is this still true for an I2C device working on a mixed I3C bus i.e. the I2C device (target in I3C specification term) can start a communication transaction when the mixed I3C bus is in Bus Availiable State? Will STM-H5 MCU support such a use senario?Thanks and Regards!// JC1985

Hello everyone!Ran into some issues writing float data to the UART. I know with Nordic, there was some weird workaround that had to be used to convert it that looked something like this: NRF_LOG_INFO("MLX90393 X = " NRF_LOG_FLOAT_MARKER "\r", NRF_LOG_FLOAT(*x));I wasn't sure if there was some other trick for this, if there's a project related setting that is required to make use of floating point (in case it's disabled by default or something to that effect, etc). Hi,I am using STM32H755ZI for a project and i want to provide a firmware update feature. I will only have one USB port in the end product, so i can't use ST LINK. When i try to upload using DFU, i need to pull my BOOT0 pin high such that the bootloader will be loaded from system memory, I need to reset the board as well. That makes sense too. But let's say i don't want to do that. Can i jump to the system memory location such that the chip will enter DFU mode. I was thinking about something like this. using the STM32H753VIT6, I like to monitor the on-chip temperature sensor. The environmental temperature can become about 50 degrees Celsius, and the board is housed is a small plastic (DIN-rail) enclosure. This enclosure is fitted in a metal cabinet.The measurement worked stable on a revision 'Y' of the STM32H7, but now I finally got the recommended revision 'V' of the MCU, where the reading is very unstable, when reading every second. It may vary more than 15 degrees Celsius between two readings.The board design did not change.On the other hand, there are differences between the ADC peripheral registers between the 'Y' and 'V' versions. Hi @Peter BENSCH  Greetings again. I am using STM32H5 and STM32G4 series MCU in my project. As per the datasheets and application notes, it is recommended to isolate analog and digital supply voltages with a proper ferrite bead or a zero ohm resistor. But I had faced issues in EMC and EMI testing when isolated with the same. Can you confirm whether it is mandatory to isolate both analog and digital voltages? What is the proper design that you would recommend? Regards,Sreejith

I think there are some wron identifiers?After reading the manual and seeing the tables i think it must be "tim_ti2_in0", "tim_ti3_in0" and "tim_ti4_in0" on page 1223? Also in the table on page 1081, there is a "tim_ti2_in[15:1]" that should be "tim_ti3_in[15:1]".

Hi,I am working with a custom board using the STM32F765VGT6 which is connected to a NAND flash chip, the WN29N02GV, via the FMC peripheral.I have been able to read the flash ID correctly, but am having issues with the reading and writing data.I wrote a simple program, to write data to a page, and then read back the data and compare. I'm looking into calculating the timings for the brk filters for the TIM1 periphery. Mentioned there is the "tim_ker_ck" and the "tim_pclk" respectively.I cannot seem to find any information on where these come from.The clock tree in the RM says that TIM1 is connected to the APB2 using PCLK2, however there's nothing on how PCLK2 translates to tim_ker_ck or tim_pclk.

Hello,I have a very strange behaviour with the I2C bus of a STM32G431.I try to communicate with a MLX90393 of Melexis. I had some problems to get the measurements, after a Start measurement. The MLX90393 returned an error code. So I checked the signal with a signal analyzer.The signal look like this:  So the voltage of the SCL signal in white (digital measure at the top and analogue at the bottom) has a voltage drop to 1.6V at the end of the frame ! What is strange is that for other frames I've absolutely no problem. For example here I try to get the measurement from the sensor:

Hi,I have read thoroughly RM0454, STM32G070CB datasheet and AN4187 in order to understand how to configure the DMA and DMAMUX in order to feed the CRC peripheral with FLASH data using the DMA (with CPU it is working but way slower than expected).I don't understand how to start the DMA requests through software, is there anyone who had successfully done it on G0 ?P.S. I don't do Cube and I don't want to do it for various reasons...

however, pwm1 doesn't output pulses. I think timer1 stop comparing output if calling Stop() function. Anyone has idea to implement this? Thank you.

Hi all, for some reason I have massive trouble making an SPI write function for a w5500 chip. I followed various threads to make this code which I also did for the solution of my problem. Hey,currently im evaluating STM32F401ReX, but it seems like it has only 3  complementary PWM Channels on Timer 1. Are there any Controllers with a total of 6 complementary PWM channels?
