I did not find any solution of Bootloader for CAN2.0A or CAN2.0B with SMT32. Currently i am using below part no. MCU-'STM32G0B1CCT6' CAN IC-'ISO1044BD'

Hi,I have a question regarding the possibilities and best practises of the early wake interrupt generated by the window watchdog.Is it possible to use the EWI to refresh the watchdog? And if so, is it actually a good idea and reliable?To describe the reason why I am asking briefly:I receive data over UART in fixed intervals, which refreshes the watchdog under normal conditions. If no data is received after a certain time I assume the connection is faulty, set a failsafe/timeout flag and refresh the watchdog. This would be triggered by the EWI and should not happen under normal operating conditions, it is purely a failsafe measure.Technically no reset is necessary or even wanted in this case. I know that this should be realised with a normal timer interrupt, but I am using all of the timers for something else. I could probably make this work with the RTC or a capture compare interrupt from timer 1, but ideally I do not want to use the same timer for

Hi there, I am working on a project using the STM32H755 zi that has 1 USBC port, can we use the same port for uploading the code, UART Communication and powering the device instead of using ST-LINK? Or is there any way to use ST-LINK for communication? Thanks for any help. 

Hello, I'm using the STM32F469NiH6 to try and do a certain number of SPI transactions (let's say 12 bytes) at regular intervals without core intervention, using Timers and DMA. And I have a couple of questions concerning this (I have had a look into the RM, in particular the peripheral registers, but a second opinion would be useful in case I missed/misunderstood anything) Is there a way for any of the timers to enable/disable the SPI directly?Is it possible to use DMA (triggered by a PWM edge, for instance) to enable/disable a different peripheral (like SPI) by writing to its configuration register (setting the Enable bit) ? If there's any help, official examples, community forum threads, or pointers to the Reference Manual, that definitively answer my questions above, that would be greatly helpful! Thanks! 

I set up EXTI so I get interupt on the correct pin GPIO B.6. But I cannot get it to wake up from stop1 mode. I call WFI and RTC wakes upp the processor regularly but EXTI will not. Reading the reference manuel it says any interupt should wake the processor from stop1 mode.In datasheet wakeup pins are mentioned, but I do not find how they are linked to GPIO.I am not sure of GPIO clock B shall be enabled or not. Can it be disabled and still wakeup on EXTI? I tried both enable and disable but still the processor did not wakeup.Here is the relevant code, have I missed setting up something? ("rrrr", the more I dive into latest STM MCUs - the more I get frustrated - LOL)The datasheet for STM32U5A5, LQFP64 package, tells me: there are PB15 as SAI2_SD_A and also PC12 as SAI2_SD_B.But the CubeMX does not let me configure these signals as SAI2: I need just one pin (one of them, preferred as PB15 = SAI2_SD_A, for a S/PDIF output).But:if I load and see the features of this STM32U5A5, LQFP64 package in CubeMX:it tells me just SAI = 1- it is actually not true: the datasheet shows me a complete signal set "possibility" for SAI2 as I2S!- SAI2_A and SAI2_B are complete on the STM32U5A, even for this package!if I try to configure pins, e.g. PB15 as SAI2_SD_A, or PC12 = SAI2_SD_B:the SAI2 f

Hi ST,i have an inverter project designed with stm32g474xx and there is a "h-bridge" topology in the system.Can I create a uni-polar PWM to get three-level output while controlling this topology with hrtim1?Can hrtim1 create uni-polar pwm outputs (180 degree phase difference in up-down mode) and its features suitable for this type of h-bridge operation?I would like know your feedback and suggestions.Best regards.  

I have a board using STM32F103CBT6 chip.  After flashing the board once (through CubeIDE v1.14.0 with ST-Link v2) I cannot flash it again and keep getting the message "No target found".  Here's a snapshot of the chip circuit:  When I power up the board it flashes an LED that I programmed so I know the initial programming worked.  But I can't connect again. Any ideas would be appreciated.

From what I understand, a STM32L433RCT3 MCU powered by VBAT pin will shutdown except for RTC and backup registers.1. I'm wondering if the RTC Alarms can trigger during the VBAT period?2. Will any code execute from the RTC Alarm interrupt during VBAT? Will the interrupt run when VDD is reapplied to the system?

Hi!I am still playing with the SAI of my STM32F446RE. It has one SAI (SAI1) which has two blocks, A and B.The idea is to use the two blocks synchronously in TDM mode to transmit in total 8 slots, 4 slots for each block.I can get it to work fine, though I noticed the two blocks do not necessarily send the data at the same time - i.e. as soon as I put something in the DR registers it gets sent. I went through the datasheet and a few PDF presentations multiple times, but I still do not get how I can get the 2 blocks to send the data at the same time (for example I put 4 bytes in each block, then say "go" and the 8 bytes are sent together using the 8 slots - i.e. one frame).I guess it is something to do with the FIFIO thresholds? I tried setting them to Full (in my case half full will be 4 bytes, so it will be perfect) but it does not change anything.Could someone explain to me how I am supposed to configure the SAI b

I am working on development project using NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q.The application is to scan multiple analog signals (4) signals using ADC1 (14 bit). The ADC triggered periodically using Timer 1. The results to be transferred to memory using DMA. Any sample code available that combines ADC (multi channel) + timer + DMA?

How to use parallel two UARTs in STM32F746ZG: one for data transfer, the other for serial print

Hi all,I recently got a Nucleo STM32H563ZI board to start doing development with the STM32H5x family of microcontrollers but I'm having issues trying to setup a debug session in VSCode. I've download the STM32 OpenOCD version and compiled it as it seems to have support for STM32h5x. Has anyone successfully launched a debug session in VSCode? I'm using Cortex-Debug and have tried different configurations with openocd but no luck. Thanks!martin

Posted on November 15, 2012 at 02:02I am working on an i2c driver that utilizes DMA for the master transmits. Everything seems to be set fine because I get hundreds of successful transactions but every once in a while, I issue a transaction but never get the DMA interrupt. I have both interrupts set for success and error and I get the success interrupt after just about every transaction. Every once in a while, I miss the interrupt. I put some counters in the event handler to make sure that I get the expected interrupts and I do, but I never get an error interrupt and I miss that one success. It seems to be only on the larger transfers, 268 bytes. The smaller ones all succeed and most of the 268 bytes ones succeed but I would say that once every 30 seconds of flooding the bus with transactions, the DMA doesn't interrupt. The priority of the DMA is set to 2. Can anyone shed some light on what may be going on?
