Hello,I would like to use TCXO (25 MHz) for timing STM32L071. It doesn't really work for me. When I put a scope probe behind C1, a signal can be seen in the picture. (some 27 Hz). Do you know what's wrong? The power supply for TCXO is 3.3Please any idea? Thank you.

Hello everybody,for my current application I would like to disable the prefetching of the OCTOSPI peripheral.I'm using a STM32H723VGT6. Ideally one can configure it to be in memory mapped mode but still do every transmission without caching or prefetching. If one asks for address XYZ one allways triggers an new request for this address.Is this possible?Thanks!

I have tried normal GPIO setting with pullup/down and setting AF5, but it just stays the same level, but its shape changes (see additional pictures).I have just connected the probes. Hi to everybody.I'm struggling to figure out this issue: I got a "NMI_Handler" error...uint32_t *p = (uint32_t*)0x08080000UL; uint32_t val = *p; //here jump to NMI_HandlerIf I put the addr to 0x08070000UL (e.g.) no probelm.I'm using a STM32H562RGTX with 1MB of flash. I know that a 2MB need a back swtich... But why in 1MB?How I can handle this?Thanks in advance.

I am using TIM1 for medium-frequency PWM and TIM8 for high speed ADC sampling with a STM32F765VIT6. TIM8 triggers ADC1, ADC2, and ADC3 where DMA streams collect the data. The frequency of TIM8 is a multiple of TIM1 so once it is started it will remain synchronized, but it does need to start a particular phase of TIM1.Currently I am starting TIM8 the "dumb" way: during initialization I start TIM1, loop until the TIM1 timer value is the appropriate value for starting TIM8, and then start TIM8. It feels I should be able to use the synchronization capabilities of the timers to make an elegant solution.I'm looking into the synchronization capabilities of the timers in section 25.3.25 of rm0410 and it seems like using TIM8 in Slave Mode: Trigger Mode has promise. It seems after it is triggered I would either 1) make sure the trigger source from TIM1 is always active or 2) turn off TIM8 Slave Mode.I'd appreciate if anyone could tell me if I'm on the wrong path before I

Hello,I have been struggling to make this post because I wanted to post a very clear question after I had found the source of the problem. However, I have been working on this problem nightly for two weeks now and even still I can't pinpoint precisely what / where my program is going wrong. I have attempted to add the code: NVIC_PriorityGroupConfig( NVIC_PRIORITYGROUP_4 ); to the code in main.c as instructed in the red text on page: http://www.freertos.org/RTOS-Cortex-M3-M4.html (I had to figure out the argument must have all capital characters). and as instructed in the comment in line 221 in the file ''stm32f3xx_hal_cortex.c''. I cannot find the function NVIC_PriorityGroupConfig() defined anywhere, nor can the gcc compiler running in Ac6. Where is it?

Hi, I'm working with a STM32F411RE6 on a pcb and i've noticed that trying to read an input from PB5 and PB6  just returns 0. I've tried fiddling with the registers eg. setting them to analog input mode, pullup, pulldown and left floating but none of it seems to make a difference. my guess is that is has to do with the ADC. for reference below is a screenshot of my teleplot grah showing various pin analog input I've also included a copy of my code and kicad schematic/board

Hi guys,I am using the stm32f103rct6 microcontroller, and there is a hardware watchdog in the peripheral circuit to monitor the operation of the program, but after my program runs away, the watchdog will pull down the nrst pin flat, and sometimes the mcu cannot be started after reset. I would like to ask if anyone has encountered a similar situation and how to solve it.THANKS!!!

Hi, I am trying to sense a signal through TIM1 channel 1 by configuring as Input capture and Measure the signal frequency and Pulse width. Now I want to generate a signal with a phase delay after the falling edge of the input capture pulse. It should turn ON after the falling edge with some delay and turn OFF after triggering next rising edge. How to configure the channel? can we use other channel in the same timer?? or need to select other Timer for generating Signal?? RegardsVijay

Hi, I am trying to communicate with i2c DMA without interrupt. My MCU is STM32G474RET6.I've read that it is possible but can't find how to do it. How can i communicate in slave mode with i2c dma? Since my interrupts disabled, can't use the callback functions. I've checked the signal and after address, bus is hanged and not gave ACK.

Hi We use an STM32L452 with an external LSE (32.786 kHz) oscillator. We would like to use PC13 as a GPIO input with interrupt. In the errata sheet for the STM32L452 (ES0388 Rev9) I find the following entry:“2.2.12 PC13 signal transitions disturb LSEDescriptionThe PC13 port toggling disturbs the LSE clock.WorkaroundNone.“ What does “disturbs" mean for the LSE? What is the impact, if PC13 is used as a GPIO input with interrupt?

Hi, I have a confusion between these 2 USART Block diagram. Figure 1 and Figure 2.Figure 1 shows that the flow of the RX is from RX ENDEC block -> RDR -> Receiver control.Figure 2 shows that the flow of the RX is from RX ENDEC block -> Receive shift register -> RDR.Could someone explain to me the flow of these 2 figures? is it same? because I am so confused.Figure 1                                           FIGURE 1 

Hi, we struggle to get P-L496G-CELL02 up and running with a plastic SIM. I know that set pin Sim_select0 to LOW to select the plastic SIM. However, I don't know what software to use and how to set it up. STM32F303 - Application running fine in CubeIDE debugger, custom board. It will not start as standalone, programmed with CubeIDE or CubeProgrammer with .elf or .hex.I have created an 'attach' run debug configuration, which can successfully display program execution and symbols when connected after CubeIDE starts the application.I have placed the following code in main() in order to pause execution at the top of main to hopefully attach and step through to identify the fault.However, when I attach after a cold/power reset, this is my trace, as if the system is not making it to main after cold start/no debugger.

Hi, I'm trying to check I3C protocol with NUCLEO-H503RB and IKS01A1.I just followed below link for I3C. https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Getting_started_with_I3CAnd I can see that the master transmit the data but there is no ACK from the slave.(I've attached the scope shot).I was trying to buy IKS01A3, but it was out of stock, so I just bought IKS01A1. Because it seems same IC. Is it okay?I've also tried below example from the github, but result is same. https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH5/tree/main/Projects/NUCLEO-H503RB/Examples/I3CPlease help me to find a way to check I3C.    

RTC3 of some newer STM32s introduce a RTC mixed mode, where both binary part (32-bit down-counting sub-seconds register SSR) and classic BCD calender (TR/DT) mode are operational.In my case I am using this for classic style BCD alarms together with binary mode timers used by the CubeMX generated LoRaWAN stack.This works perfectly fine until I try to set the BCD calender time part with HAL_RTC_SetTime.It turned out, that as soon as RTC->TR is written, RTC->SSR is reset to 0xFFFFFFFF. As all timers backed by the binary mode rely on some SSR timestamp, they fail.I tried backing up SSR and writing back after RTC->TR write, but it seems to be read-only.Am I missing something? If a mixed mode has been introduced, I doubt normal behaviour is that the BCD part cannot be set anymore without affecting the binary mode part.
