HiI've been struggling trying to get an Image from a Image sensor over DCMI via the GPDMA on an STM32U575.The image sensor has a resolution of 752*480, though I only want to capture 420*420, which I've configured on the sensor to output. I've also configured it to output a B&W image meaning I only get one byte per pixel.I've used the DCMI_ContinousCap_EmbeddedSychMode example as the basis for my code, though I'm not using an omnivision sensor so I've swapped out the configuration for one required for my image sensor. However, for the most part, I have not modified the GPDMA or linked list settings from this example, just the I2C comms (swapped to SPI) and DCMI to external synchro, and DCMI polarities to match my image sensors output.when I try to pull a full image in one DMA transfer, I get an overflow error after only receiving half the image (88200 bytes). When I make the image size 360*360 I get the full image just fine (129600

Good morning, I have to do a porting from a project developed on STM32F423 to an STM32U5A5The starting project used the wiced sdk, with the supported platform STM32F423.If I understand well, for STM32U5A the wiced sdk is deprecated, and it would be better to use the package Infineon.AIROC-Wi-Fi.Bluetooth-STM32. Is it correct? Is there any application note to help me to do the porting? or to use the infineon package with STM32CubeMx?

Hello, I hope you are doing great.I have two NUCLEO H743ZI2, one of them is MB1364E, and the other one is MB1364C. They are totaly the same but there are little differences and I would like to find them and make them same, since I would like to use them in the same application.I searched a lot and I found that there are some differences between them in the PCB and components.For example,1- SB1, 0 ohm 0603 resistor is deleted form the PCB in MB1364E.2- SB45, a 0 ohm 0603 resistor is added to the PCB in MB1364E.The question is that is there any other differences that I could not find?Is there a PDF which explane the differences?Best regards,

Hi folks,I hooked up the B-G474E-DPOW1 board using the micro USB cable to the USB port on my laptop. I confirmed that all the three LEDS (LED6, LED7 and LED9) turn on as expected. But when I open up a PuTTY serial console window by connecting to the right COM port, I do not see any boot up messages. Do I have to enable some settings, to see the boot up messages?Thanks!Best Regards,Gautam

Hi,I am trying to configure the pin PC13 in my STM32F411 device as Input with Pull up option and it is connected to a rotary encoder. At initial bootup time, the pin is in toggle state and after that, it is set to 0. In the same project, I also configured the RTC. This PC13 pin has an alternate function as RTC_AMP1, RTC_OUT, and RTC_TS. Could you please explain the reason for this?Thanks and RegardsVrinda R

Is it not possible to read the Unique device ID registers (96 bits) on STM32L051 through the bootloader? I get a NACK on that address.

hello i wand to use stm32h7 series LQFP package to connect RGB888 display first time i try with this chip   the alternate pins is not close to each other.. and for optimal high speed pcb traces, it be nice this pins to be close or im mistaken and not use correct alternate pin function id like a consult  thanks       

STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.12.0Build: 14980_20230301_1550 (UTC)I have a STM32F407 Discovery board running a web server.  I have a simple webpage with a single button that when clicked, displays a text message below the button. I had issues with the server at first due to the const keywords that were in the fsdata.c file, but it is working fine now.Where is the buffer for the incoming button click and the text message located? Is there a weak callback function somewhere that handles incoming data? I want to intercept the message and take action based on the incoming data.I used STM32CubeIDE to create the server and accepted all of the default settings.  

Hi dear experts,I want to know is there a way to only program Bank2 and run the firmware from it? I manage to program Bank2 and set the BFB2=1 but i cant get the firmware to run. Am i making a mistake by not programming the Bank1 at all? i should mention that i used a right linker file for Bank2 firmware and i have also take a look the AN4767 and AN2606.  Do I need any additional code to be programmed to Bank1 even if I'm not using it at all?

Hi community!Currently, I am using a MCU STM32L083 and I am trying to implement a bootloader. The firmware to be updated is encrypted with a AES-128 algorithm. The firmware is encrypted one time with a unique key for each divice and a second time for the model of the device. Is it possible to use two different keys?Basically I need to use key1 to descrypt a block of data and then use key2 on that block to get the plain text. Thank you in advance.Alan.

I use Portenta H7 MCU module. I use it with a STM32CubeIDE project (not Arduino).I do not like the Arduino IDE - LOL, I am missing several features, esp. not possible to use a HW debugger and to step through my code, no support for HW breakpoints etc. Never mind: I have a full STM32 HAL and STM32CubeIDE based project. I can use external ST-LINK (with Breakout Board).Portenta H7 comes with an Arduino bootloader flashed: you can flash a new user BIN file (FW) via tool "dfu-util.exe".I want to keep it, because it is convenient and no need for my users to have a ST-LINK dongle. They can update the FW any time themselves (via USB-C, needed anyway for power and UART command line).But: I want to use also remote connections, e.g. VNC to the computer where the Portenta H7 is connected (in a lab). I cannot press the reset button quickly twice (I am remote). But I want to activate the Arduino bootloader in MCU flash

Unfortunately, I wrongly designed the PCB board So, the boot0 pin is currently floating (no connectable evenif temporaliy because of BGA pin layout).I'm getting trouble with programming. So, I want to know whether the programming error is happening due to the boot0 pin.Is there any problem when boot0 pin is floating?

I have been stuck on a tricky little issue for some time now.Using an STM32H753, on a reasonably large and complex application, when trying to erase the upper flash bank, the watchdog expires resetting the chip!My suspicion is that the CPU is stalling during the erase (~5s), but watchdog keeps going until it resets.I am running low on ideas to debug this, I am open to any help. Here are some things of significance:This is a long and established firmware, this issue only came about after some recent changes. Until then flash erase has worked flawlessly for years.Rolling back versions and changes does not help highlight the issue. It seems to be more related to flash memory placement. Even inserting one assembly instruction can cause/stop this problem.Watchdog has EWI interrupt enabled. This fires if I force a watchdog to occur. But it does not before the reset during flash erase.Flash is set up as dual b

Hi, we use 12 ADC channels to measure temperatures in a smart home project. The system clock of the STM32F071V8Tx is configured at 48 MHz. Due to the slow temperature curve, we use the longest sampling time. We have taken a conversion table from a data sheet of the controller, which contains which bit value of the ADC is supplied at which input voltage.So at 1.74V 2082 tics should be delivered. However, the ADC only delivers 2159 tics. The difference of 23 tics is outside the tolerance specified by ST. The configuration can be seen in the following diagram. I was reading the documentation from: https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-eeprom.html#documentationabout the eeprom lib. Concerning the cleanup time, I don't follow where the number comes from. I am using an L4 and there was only one example of an L4It specifies a ~900MS cleanup time, which matches what I see in my use caseit then specifies the formula for this time as "The time taken to erase flash memory EEPROM pages = number of pages * tERASE."

Dear Experts,I have 4 inch RPI LCD 480x320 SPI based on the ILI9486 display driver. Like inside ArduinoIDE, there is a Library manager where we can find so many TFT-LCD libraries with STM32 board support, Is there a common place to find libraries for STM32CubeIDE? Or a way to import ArduinoIDE libraries to CubeIDE. Or suggest to me any TFT-LCD library that works on CubeIDE. @TDK
