Hi guys,When setting option bytes to boot device from internal flash (at 0x0800_0000), the entire Flash memory region is aliased to start at address 0x0000_0000.  But the mapping address of ITCM is starting from 0x0000_0000 to 0x0000_FFFF, so I wanna know whether the ITCM is visible or not to M7 Core in this situation, or how to do for executing code from ITCM.I have no idea about that, help me, please.Thank you. 

Hey everyone!Some context:We are developing a medical device using STM32H7ZIT6 MCU. We succesfully developed a working prototype, using UART connection protocol.  Couple of consistency problems (i.e. the device works flawlessly at times, sometimes we get "USB driver cannot be recognized" error, sometimes UART Recieve functions do not work, the connection cannot be established in some PC's, sometimes inserting the device causes other pc peripherals such as mouse to run wild, etc). and the fact that UART protocol is old caused us to decide to switch to USB CDC protocol. This is what happened to us afterwards:1) We succesfully managed to run the code on STM32H7A3ZI-Q Nucleo board. 2) On bread board, we decided to test it before going for PCB board. I have reviewed the many posts from others that have not been able to jump from a bootloader the application code and nothing that I tried worked.My MCU has its 128kB of flash in two banks, one at 0x08000000 and the other at 0x08040000.  When the MCU is reset, it starts with the code in the first bank, so this is where my bootloader is located.I have 6kB of flash reserved for storing calibration and configuration information immediately following the bootloader.  I have the application code in the second bank (0x08040000). The sole purpose of my bootloader is to allow an application software package to update the application firmware over a Modbus connection (via USB or RS485).  I am able to send the new firmware and successfully program the new application code.  I have verified this by using the STM32CubeProgrammer to compare the file to the updated flash contents.Without the bootloader, the application code works fine from STM2

Hi, I observed a limitation in the STM32H7 reference manual saying that "The current version of the SDMMC supports only one SD/SDIO/e•MMC card at any onetime and a stack of e•MMC."So my application requires to control two SDIO slaves from both SDIO interfaces of STM32H747 at the same time, Is this realizable?

Hi everyone,I am using the NUCLEO STM32-F401RE V dev board and trying to communicate with an MAX31856 temperature amplifier. I am using SPI2 peripheral. I am able to write values on the SPI line. I have printed them out to the UART and have verified the signal with the scope. However, I am having trouble reading the MAX chip. For this I am using the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive() function. After a lot of debugging, I have narrowed down to just trying to read the values I am writing to CR0, CR1, and Mask registers. I have verified the writes with the scope but don't see anything on the SDO from the MAX chip when I attempt to read the registers. I've done a loopback test and measure the data I am writing from the MOSI on the MISO of the STM32 which tells me my SPI is configured correctly. I don't see anything on the MAX and I've tried I've tried 3 different chips at this point and they all have the same behavior so I believe there is something wrong with my code. I have attac

HiI am receiving data from a 24-bit ADC through SPI. To reduce frequency of SPI-SCK, the ADC has the capability to send data through 2 SPI-MISO to STM32f107, both of them working with a single SPI-SCK (18Mbit/s). How can I configure SPIs in STM32cubeMX? I think I should define 1 master (Full Duplex) and 1 slave (Receive only) SPI ports and wire the SPI-SCK of master one to the slave one. Am I right?Moreover, I want to send the data to PC through Ethernet and I should create a 50MHz Master Clock for the Ethernet Physical Layer Transceiver. I have conflicts for TIMs for the Master Clock Output. How can I solve the problem?

Hi,I am working on SPI communication between STM32G491 and ATM90E26. and I am using the SPI polling API with HAL_SPI_Transmit and HAL_SPI_Receive.My System clock is 96Mhz and I am using prescaler of 64 for SPI.CLKPolarity=Low,CLKPhase=1Edge.Communication is happening between the devices but I am not getting the correct data.there is only a shift of one bit.For examplein binary:expected: 0001 0011 1001 0100received: 0000 1001 1100 1010f I shift the received bitstream to the left I get exactly the right result.I found one solution in the forum for similar type of question(for stm32H7) It was solved withhspi1.Init.MasterKeepIOState = SPI_MASTER_KEEP_IO_STATE_ENABLE;But I am using STM32G4 with SPI Poll methodthere is no MasterKeepIOState parameter  ava

I have a HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA() transaction that I am performing. The data can be seen on the line to properly get clocked out over SPI. The problem is that in the receive interrupt, we kick off the next transaction (a DMA SPI write). This write fails because the HAL erroneously still has a lock on the DMA tx handler. The transmit eventually comes through, but we fail to write a transaction due to the lock. I cannot figure out why the transmit interrupt does not fire before the rx interrupt. I did see that the SW priority of the DMA streams was the same, and the natural priority in that case is to prefer the lower stream number (which in my case was the rx stream); however, when I bumped up the priority of the sw dma stream priority to be higher than the rx stream, that did nothing to change the outcome.

I need to assign  8 GPIOs (4 I/p + 4 o/p) for membrane keypad pushbutton circuit. I am worried about ESD protection of GPIOs. Please suggest  STM parts for ESD protection best suited for use purpose.Kindly let know if I can select any  pins or there are some more tolerant GPIOs. 

I have spent a few weeks reviewing HAL related and LL related neopixel libs however I would love if there was someone who had a working version of literally just the ability to set up a neopixel on any port and simply light it or light a few neopixels in an array.I have found several with HALs but it really does not give a good understanding of how this is done from scratch.To be clear I am not looking for a HAL solution. I am looking for a bare-metal no library solution.Thank you in advance.

I m using STM32IDE ioc to generate SPI signal hardware NSS, CPOL 1, CPHAS 0 and it was working fine until recently lots of overshoot and undershoot appear, which causes the slave device to fail all data transmit to MCU. i enclosed the waveform, anyone can advise whats causing this?  

I have a STM32WLE5 custom board with MX25L4006E SPI Flash.I created an external loader with CubeIDE based on the article - "How to add your SPI flash into the STM32CubeProgrammer’s external loader"The result stldr does not work and when I tried to debug it I realize the Init function does not called. I removed all the SPI Flash parts from it and left only a blinking of a led and a printout to the UART I have on board but I did not see any change in the led or the printout data on the terminal.How can I continue from that point?Attached is the linker file I sued.

I am transferring sensor data between Jetson Nano and STM32F411E-DISCO via can using 2 MCP2515. On the STM32 side, imu and encoder sensors are connected and constantly transmit data to Jetson nano via canbus.However, due to a problem that I do not fully understand, I think there is bit loss in the data and the value of the transmitted data is transmitted by half, or positive data is transmitted as negative data. Hi, I am trying to understand if mcu STM32H753 supports the smartcard mode for USART as reported in the datasheet. Has anyone ever used it and managed to port X-CUBE-SMCARD for H7 series? Also, in your experience do you think is better to use ST8024L or direct connection has some advantages?

I am using STM32G050 and I also tried with STM32L476. I am transmitting data as an I2C Slave using STM-HAL. However, when I use HAL_I2C_EnableListen_IT, the transmission is an error. I can't read values and see the logic analyzer. HAL_I2C_DisableListen_IT allows successful data transmission. I am trying to understand the underlying reasons for this behavior. Hello everyone,I have been struggling with the ETH interface on my board for a while now.Since I'm stuck, I wanted to ask if any of you can help me or give me a tip on which direction to look.I have a customised board with an STM32H743IIK6. The LAN8742A is used as the LAN transceiver. The circuit diagram of the ETH is almost the same as that in the Nucleo-H743ZI2. The LAN socket and the quartz type are different. Furthermore, the magnetics are in the socket itself. 

I have an ADC issue with the STM32F0. Looked all through the HAL docs and not sure what the error is. I can't get the ADC to complete a conversion or if it does only the first call. When I debug with the ADC calibration call, it goes to a fault. When I try sampling it with polling it doesn't update (I'm guessing because the conversion never completes).
