I'm trying to get the LPUART working with BDMA on a STM32H7A3 MCU.  Eventually I'd like to set it up so the MCU goes into a low power state and wakes up when it receives a LF character match in the incoming message, but for now I'm just trying to get a small test program working starting with just transmitting some bytes using BDMA.  I have DMA with character match working on a regular UART with DMA and I'm using that code as an example along with the reference manual sections on the LPUART and BDMA. I think I'm doing everything the reference manual says to do but maybe I missed or misunderstood something. I can send characters out the LPUART without DMA and see them show up on my logic analyzer but when I try to do a BDMA transmit, nothing shows up on the LPUART_TX line to trigger the logic analyzer.I've read this article ( https://community.st.com/t5/s

Hi All, I am using the STM32H723 device and have used the HAL functions and they work but I find the SysTick or any timebase interrupts my code. Timing is critical; if the data from the serial port is interrupted by the SysTick interrupt, I lose data. I want to completely disable the use of SysTick and anything that relies on its use but like the use of the HAL functions. Is there a way to use the HAL without the timebase? I've tried IRQ Priority changes and just about everything I can think of to get the SysTick timer to stop interrupting my code but it persists. I have these two functions I use for the I2C:HAL_I2C_Mem_ReadHAL_I2C_Mem_WriteI also need to figure out SPI comms too but that's a different animal for a different day. Are there LL functions that are similar to those above? Can I use the HAL_I2C_Mem_Read_IT and HAL_I2C_Mem_Write_IT as a possible solution? I changed everything over to LL drivers but do not see much

Hi, Alli'm using stm32G070CBT6, i have some problem with low layer usart interrupt.the MCU seems always hang when received usart byte. Has anyone here experienced something similar?how to solved this case. thanks

Hello,I'm having weird problems with code crashing, perhaps related to how I have IRAM1/IRAM2 set up in my project:Looking in the reference manual, I see that the SRAM starting at 0x2000_0000 is the DTCM_RAM on TCM interface (data RAM?), the SRAM starting at 0x2400_0000 is the D1 domain, AXI SRAM but I don't see any documentation for how big either of these are.  I also can't figure out what is meant in Keil by IRAM1 vs. IRAM2 (Google is not very helpful), although I suspect that question might not be within the scope of the STM forums...If anyone can help with this I will really appreciate it!Thanks,-Brian

Hi,Currently, we are facing an accuracy problem when using the built-in DAC on the STM32F407 (with buffer enabled). As the built-in reference voltage measured 2.0005V, we set the DOR to 0x800, expecting to get 1.25V on the DAC output. However, we actually measured 1.238V, which is 122mV away from the ideal. All tests were made with the DAC under no load. As I've seen in datasheets and many posts, the mentioned DAC output range will be 0.2V~ (VDDA-0.2V) when the buffer is enabled. Could I suspect that the DAC output offset specification is within (IDEAL ±0.2V)? Given the 122mV error mentioned above, it's hard to estimate the output accuracy without any listed specifications to refer to. Overall, I think the built-in buffer actually works and is usable, but we really need more information about it to leverage it better.Thanks.

The FDCAN loopback test of G474 can enter the receive interrupt, but normally the two devices communicate with each other, and when one of the devices is used to debug, it is found that the interrupt cannot be entered。  

Hello, I have several boards to design where we can fit everything into the STM32F103. We don't need USB, CAN, or Ethernet. However, the price for the '103 isn't that different from the '403 or the '722. So for a brand new project which family would be best to use? For long term availability is it better to use one of the newer processors like the STM32F722 even though we don't need the additional peripherals?BTW, thank you for maintaining footprint compatibility: the STM32F103 in LQFP144 is almost exactly the same as the STM32F722 in LQFP144.

  Hi,I'm trying to run dual QSPI Flash with my own design STM32H750XBH6. Flashes are 256 mbit MX25L25645. Single mode 32 mb flash read, write and boot succesfully. However, when I switch to dual chip mode, i get a write error (constant 0XFF) on the 2nd chip after 0x93000001 (48 mb) adresses. (adress 0x90000000 to 0x92FFFFFF  working very well. )

Hello, I've used TIM2 to count to 100000 every second. With this i hope to make a very accurate millisecond timer. I can see the counter succesfully going to 1s and then i reset it manually using the RTC interrupt.Now i want to use an output compare with no output to trigger an interrupt. But i can't do it. Please someone help me.

Hi  I am a hardware design base person, it's been a while I wrote the code.  I have one STM NUCLEO-F401RE board and one sht3x i2c sensor. I wonder how to make them working (at least print sensor information via UART serial port). I see some source code like sht3x.c and sht3x.h are provided on Github(https://github.com/henriheimann/stm32-hal-sht3x). I follow the instruction to cpoy them into INC and SRC in STM32CubeIDE project However, I encounter lots error messages while building the code. Could anyone help to have a step-by-step walkthrough about how to bring it up?  

Hi all, im using STM37H74x evaluation board and i managed to get most of it working (PWM, DAC etc..)but when i try using the ADC i get strange input, putting the configuration aside, this is what my main looks like below.im using ADC1 ch6, according to the reference manual in order to use this output i had to change SBso that SB37 is on and SB38 is off , if i did understand that correctly.my output did not seem to mind the pin input and just constantly showed a random value that was between 8000 and 11000note that the ADC is 16bit. and that i have tried the same method on differently channels and ADCs

I am generating 1Khz PWM from my Timer2 and TImer1 I am using for delay(I configured it for 50 usec delay with interrupt).Both timer2 and timer1 working as expected.1.For every pwm pulse start I need to read adc for 50 usec after pulse start and after 800 usec of pulse start I need to check the GPIO this is my logic.Now for testing purpose at 50 usec I am setting the led and at 800 usec I am resetting the led. Hello,  I have tried for the last couple of days to get use 2 pots to change the frequency and duty cycle of a PWM signal using "Bare Metal" programming due to the flash limitation of the STM32L011K4T6 I rapidly ran out of space using HAL and was not able to make this fit. I am using the STM32 Nucleo-L011K4 Board The Issue I am having is under HAL I got the STM32L011K4T6 to read from 1 Pot and output a variable frequency PWM signal or 2 Pots and no PWM Signal due to size limitations. So I switched to Bare Metal Programming and have had nothing but issues even though I set the registers the same and have followed multiple different guides online but every time I wait for the ADC_ISR_EOC flag to be set it gets set as soon as I trigger ADC_CR_ADCSTART but then disappears as soon as I get into the while variable so it forms an infinite loop.at this point I do not know what I am doing wrong. Any help would be gre

In datasheet for STM32G431 series and RM0440 (applicable reference), there are references to ADC12 (I'm encountering this when working on ADC converter, pin and channel assignments for an application.) There doesn't appear to be a specific definition of ADC12, however, in a couple of places it appears this is shorthand for "ADC1 OR ADC2". For example, if I encounter ADC12_5 (not a specific quote, but the general idea applies), should I interpret this as "I can use either ADC1 channel 5 or ADC2 channel 5 per my preference)? Thanks for any guidance/clarification.

My binary file size is 7.5kb. - my controller is successfully connected from utility- I can successfully erase chip by stlink utility But when I click on program and verify. The I got error " elf loader is bigger than RAM size." Please help me on this as soon as possible.  

I tried to send a RTR frame to another CAN peripheral , another node received the RTR bit successfully and RTR bit in the node has been set. Does the node receiving the RTR frame will transmit the Message automatically? or We have to read the RTR bit and send the Message Manually? Other than RTR bit Do I need to set any other Bits in other registers ?

Hi all!,I have 2 STM32F103C8T6 connected by CAN bus.Each STM32F103C8T6 has the same firmware.This firmware starts sending a message "RequestID" by the CAN bus.Is there a way to avoid send the "RequestID" in case another "RequestID" were detected on the CAN bus?I though about arbitration lost, but if I put a logic analizer, I can see each device is sending its own "RequestID" with about 20us delay.What I need is a way a device detect a "RequestID" message was sent, and then wait a time to send own "RequestID"I tried to abort any pending transmission in case a "RequestID" was received, but doesn'
