Hi, I'm looking for LSE crystal and I alredy know there are prodcut recommendations tables in the AN2867 document,  for the LSE crystal, so I'm looking a crystal for my STM32L4P5RGT6 MCU, there is many crystals that are compatible with my MCU family (STM32L4P+), so what criteria should I use tho choose a product in specific?There is different C0, CL, ESR, gmcrit for different crystals what to look at when when choosing?This is the table I'm referring toThanks for your time. 

Hi, I made an STM32G4 and TCAN1044VDRQ1 setup and tried to use the FDCAN, but I couldn't get it to work. There is no response from the transceiver. I tried all the bit timings and used calculators to compute the values. I used a USB-to-CAN FD analyzer and sent a message, but there is no response in the HAL_FDCAN_RxFifo0Callback interrupt.It is not getting triggered when a message comes in. I don’t know what to do. I’ve spent too much time on this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. I'm working with an STM32H735 Discovery board. I have DFSDM working via the STMOD+ connector. I'm currently designing a PCB that will plug into the Arduino header to better connectorize our PDM mics, add a few additional parts, etc. and move all DFSDM signals to PC0, PB14, and PC2 (on the Arduino header).But I've discovered that even though I can assign DFSDM1_CKOUT to pin PC2, I'm not seeing the clock signal. I can set the pin as a GPIO out and toggle it just fine, so I've verified it comes to the right pin on the Arduino header. PC2 drives the on-board user LED LD2. Is it the situation that the DFSDM peripheral can't drive the clock signal with the LED and 680R resistor pulling the line high? Thing is, the line stays low; I'd think in DFSDM mode it'd have trouble pulling the line low if it were a situation of the LED+resistor acting as a strong pull-up. I'd considered removing R143 or LD2, but the fact that the line stays low makes me think that's not the issue.

Hello :) i am working with a nucleo-h755zi.my goal is to create the following:1. M7 core running with FreeRTOS and LWIP.2. M4 Core running bare metal. after using the following instructions (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-create-project-for-stm32h7-with-ethernet-and-lwip-stack/ta-p/49308#memory-layout ) i was able to achive (1).unfortenoutly it seems that while the M7 runs fine and i am able to ping it, the M4 Systick is not OK (uwTick is always 0), i also noticed that this problem is fixed when i disable M7 MPU defenitions.i suspect that the LWIP stack is somehow blocking or corrupting M4 Data. Please advise on how to resolve this, perhaps i am missing something?  th

I'm programming one of the dual-core STM32s (the STM32H747IGT6) and running into a situation where the CM4 is much slower than I need it to be, and I'm trying to figure out why. I'm using this short piece of code as my test bed: __COMPILER_BARRIER(); start_timer = TIM5->CNT; if ( (loopState == WaitingToStoreValues) && (i < last_i) ) { num_data = 0; loopState = StoringValues; } end_timer = TIM5->CNT; __COMPILER_BARRIER(); start_timer, loopState, i, last_i, and num_data are all stack variables, and TIM5 is set to run at full speed (240 MHz) so it ticks once every 4.1666 nsec.   The conditions in the 'if' statement are rarely met, and when I run this code a gazillion times the delta is 56 ticks 99% of the time so I'm assuming that's the "condition not met" situation.  The rest of the time the delta is anywhere from 18 to 84

Hi,I'm trying to get a stm32u073 to wake up from stop mode using an RTC alarm. I previously did the same on a stm32f103 which seemed to work just fine. When trying the same on the stm32u073 the controller either doesn't wake up or wakes up every second depending on which mode is used for the RTC (BCD or binary).In binary mode the controller wakes up every second not using the set time for the alarm, in bcd mode it doesn't wake up at all.Is there something that has to be done differently when using the stm32u73? Or does anyone have a working example for waking up the stm32u073 from stop mode using an RTC alarm?   

I have solved the problem, but I want to know the root cause so I can solve this perfectly.I use STM32C071FBP6. Hello,In my project, I want to hold boot params in BKPSRAM so "Application project" can also write and read this section easily. If boot is needed, "Application project" will set boot params as required and after that it will use "NVIC_System_Reset".Therefore, I tried to write and read some parameters in this area. I can see the datas is written successfully in "BKPSRAM_BASE_S" section while debugging but when I restart the debug session, BKPSRAM section is all fill with zeros. Hello, ST experts STM32F407 is used on our system. PE7 is configured as an EXTI pin for both rising and falling edge. How can I accurately  recognize which edge is the cause of this interrupt? Because there maybe a narrow glitch on PE7, so reading GPIO state on interrupt routine may not be a good way. Best RegardsYang

I was finishing a project that does the job of hi-speed polling from a SPI interfaced IMU chip, the frequency is about 5Khz, I know that this could be done by start a DMA transfer by software in the hardware update interrupt. But now I'm searching for a faster solution. Hello forum,I'm (still) working on a data acquisition system based on STM32H743XIH6 MCU, I'm pushing the 16bit ADC to the limits and I'm stuck on a corner.Let me summarize first the actual code:1) TIM1 trigger every 1us ADC1 acquisition2) ADC1 acquire 4 ch and move data via DMA to a ADCbuf[4] (4ch scan @1MSa/s)3) HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback is called (every 1us) when 2) is complete and does some calculations on ADCbuf[4]. (After 100k executions=4x100k samples a flag is risen triggering data output on the main loop).Long story short, It works flawlessly up to 960kHz, at 1MHz randomly the callback is called again before the previous call get completely served. The chip model we use is STM32L496VG. Our customer reported that the machine became unresponsive (bricked) and couldn't power on after an OTA upgrade. After receiving the machine, we used STM32 Programmer to read the flash, which prompted chip protection. When we read the option bytes (OB), all contents were found to have become 0xFF. We checked the code but found no section that writes to the OB, and we haven't been able to reproduce the issue. Currently, we want to know under what circumstances the OB would all become 0xFF and what possible causes there might be.

Hello,I am using the STM32H745I-DISCO board for my project, which requires both TouchGFX and CAN FD functionality. However, I am encountering an issue with the clock configuration.I need to synchronize the Nominal Baud Rate to 500 kbps and the Data Baud Rate to 2000 kbps.I configured the Nominal timing parameters as follows:Prescaler: 4Time Segment 1: 13Time Segment 2: 2SJW: 1According to my calculations, the resulting Nominal Baud Rate should be 500 kbps, but STM32CubeIDE shows the calculated rate as 1250 kbps.I suspect the issue lies in the Clock Configuration.Could this be related to the FDCAN clock source or prescaler settings?I would appreciate it if you could guide me on how to properly configure the clock settings for this use case.Also, if there are any official documents, reference manuals, or

Hello everyone,I'm currently working with an STM32F746 microcontroller as an SPI slave using DMA for data reception.The SPI master sends fixed-size packets of 512 bytes, and everything works fine most of the time. However, occasionally, a few bytes (e.g., 4 bytes) seem to get lost during transmission or reception. After that, the SPI slave continues receiving data, but everything becomes misaligned by that number of lost bytes. This causes the following packets to be parsed incorrectly and fail CRC checks.I need a way to recover synchronization after such a misalignment — that is, to detect when a packet is no longer aligned to the expected 512-byte structure, and then find the correct boundary again so I can resume proper packet parsing.Has anyone encountered a similar issue?
