STM32 MCUs Software development tools

I used the STM32CUBE FOR VSCODE preview version and enabled FreeRTOS in STM32CUBEMX. However, during the debugging process, the STM32CUBE RTOS STATE is empty and does not display any content, even when the program is paused.

So i was failing to properly flash my STM32N6 because in version STM32_SigningTool_CLI 2.21.  I think it's because it doesn't align the payload.  So when i flashed the board made with 2.21 it didn't recognize it and didn't load. In version 2.20 this doesn't happen.  I don't know if this is a bug or a failed configuration.  But i used the same command for both of them and it worked in version 2.20. 

Lost links and routes, errors after migrating; etc... I reverted to 1.19.0 and 6.14 respectively   

I enabled the RTC wakeup interrupt in STM32cubeIDE graphical configer. The IDE added code to the MX_RTC_Init(void) which enables the interrupt and starts the timer. But is there graphical config – is there the Cube way – to tell the IDE not to add the HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT(…) call to MX_RTC_Init(void) ?[I’m using the graphical configer in the IDE and the MX interchangeably. But if the standalone MX has better options, please let me know. ]

How to start with FileX using CubeMX?In CubeMX I enabled ThreadX and FileX with the default configuration, increased ThreadX "memory pool size" to 2k and  enabled "Generate Init Code" for both.In app_azure_rtos.c, tx_application_define() function MX_FileX_Init() fails - tx_byte_allocate() returns error code 16. According to docs that means TX_NO_MEMORY "Service was unable to allocate a block of memory within the specified time to wait.".I get this error even when I substantially increase ThreadX "memory pool size" to 64k.Without FileX enabled ThreadX works - I created a timer which nicely blinks the onboard LED.I know FileX does not really require ThreadX, but I need it for other purposes.This is probably something simple, but I admit I am new to ThreadX.Tested with the latest CubeMX, STM32U5A9 MCU as well as NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q boards.Please advise.

When trying to setup MBedTLS through CubeMX for the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q, CubeMX does not give the option to select LWIP as the TCP/IP stack in the MBEDTLS "Version and modes" configuration tab. The only options given are "None" and "User defined". Additionally, for the "RNG dependency", the only options are "SW RNG(no entropy)" and "Custom RNG(Custom entropy)". It does not detect that I have enabled hardware level RNG. If I try setting up a project for NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q, I have the same issue. I tried setting up the project so the Ethernet stack was on the M7 only, the M4 only, and both the M7 and M4 and none of these variations made a difference.However, if I try setting up a project for any single core F4 or H7 variant, like the NUCLEO-H753ZI, I am able to select LWIP and HW RNG(ST entropy). I've done a fresh install of STM32CubeIDE on my Win11 computer. (Version: 2.0.0 Build: 26820_20251114_1348 UTC). I installed CubeMX through Help > Install New Software and then tried to open an existing projects .ioc file. This did not work, I got the following error (log also attached)The ioc file itself is fine. I can open it on other computers without a problem.I tried installing CubeMX as a seperate program, which works fine. I assume its the CubeIDE plugin that has a problem

I have just purchased the STM32N6570-DK kit and have been able to successfully load and run the demo binaries. However when I have tried to generate a simple application like the LED Blink project I have been able to successfully get it running in the Cube IDE debug mode but once I load the .bin file into the external flash it will not run.I have followed the online tutorials by  B.Montanari as well as read all the available documentation but nothing seems to be working.I have signed the fsbl.bin file to create a fsbl-trusted.bin file and programmed the external flash at 0x7000 0000 exactly as outlined in the tutorials but no luck. The code definitely runs on the kit in the Cube IDE debug mode so I am obviously missing some vital key setup when it comes to loading it from flash but I am unable to figure out what it is.I understand how the BOOT process works but trying to implement the process is a different matter.This is a basic operating requirement for using the STM32N6 so why

Dear community,we're using a Makefile Project with STM32H5xx and NetX Duo using the LAN8742When the code is generated, CubeMX is adding the line:.../STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.1.1/Drivers/BSP/Components/lan8742/lan8742.c \twice to the Makefile which leads to multiple definition errors in Compile. The line has to be removed by Hand afterwards. I think this is malicous behaviour here.Best RegardsPascal

Dear ST community,I have a custom board with small external NOR flash MX25U1632F connected to STM32H573. I have written a custom external flash loader for this device. The loader works, for example, from stm32cubeprogrammer gui, and can read the external flash memory, and erase sectors.My problem is during secure manager provisioning. I have built a sfi package using the provisioning.py --sfi-gen script provided in the x-cube-sec-m-h5-v2-1-0.zip.During provisioning, initially, the device is in OB_PROD_STATE_OPEN state. Here, the sector erases complete successfully. I'm trying to install ./SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer-2.21.0.linux -q But it just keeps failing or waiting for user response.  Its not quiet if it asks for interaction.  Moreover I have a tried a varfile but it expects a specific format (XML? Schema?)I can't find any documentation on how to install this without user interaction.  Can anyone help or point me to the documentation? Thank you 

I made a new project by importing an .ioc file. When the project opened/created, I was introduced into pinout view of the MCU.While I was there, the software (Stm32CubeIDE) got updated, asked me to restart to finish the update.I accept the restart.After the restart, I open my projectIf I double click my .ioc file, it just opens the file with txt editor:I do not know how to enter pinout view again.Obviously, I have tried looking on all the tabs/options, right clicking everywhere. When I create a new GPIO port configured as OUTPUT in STM32CubeMX, the pin definitely exists on my board. However, after I click Generate Code, the new pin configuration does not appear in main.c (for example, I don’t see the initialization code for that pin in MX_GPIO_Init()).Why does this happen? I tried to investigate but couldn't find the reason.My STM32CubeIDE version is 1.19.0.The MCU I am using is STM32G071RBT3, and the specific pin I am trying to add is GPIOD pin 3 — but I also don’t see any other newly added pins in the generated code. None of the new GPIO ports appear after code generation. THANKS

It would appear that these lines are hardcoded and unaffected by the code generator. when trying to program our hex file in the microcontroller with the actual version 2.21 of programmer, I get following error: failed to download Sector[0]. in hex file the sector 0 starting from address 0x0 is used. wondering, that this could not be programmed with stm tools. sw tool hw tool result stm programmer st-link error stm programmer j-link error j-flash pro j-link error j-flash light j-link good in my opinion, the definition file for programmer isn't correct. the sector 0 is missing. why? shall it be corrected? thanks for fast help. Hello colleagues.My first post here...I have seen somewhere in youtube tha it is possible to provide URL to the specific Github location and use code from there as a library or some sort of included component. It has to be special file in Github serving as a "link" or index. Unfortunately, I forgot where I hve seen that and cannot find way to do that.  Any pointers ? Thanks.
