STM32 MCUs TouchGFX and GUI

Is there any example how to create any simple animation? I would like to get object in motion using static isometric view. Object based on the few outlines of rectangles outlines with painter or putting the texture on it. I need to rotate one pseudo 3D rectangle in reference to the other. It is not so hard for 500MHz CPU, the issue comes with additional effects like lighting but it is not so important.

STM32H747XIH6 touchGFX, project root directory, two seperated CM4 and CM7, touchGFX under CM7, when touchGFX designer create code， always to search .cproject under root directory, (.ioc is here, but no .cproject, only .project), under CM7 exist .cproject and .project! this cause touchGFX designer code generate fail!

I have studied using the STM32F429I-DISC1 board with TouchGFX and can already implement buttons, LEDs, and ADC. However, I have a project that requires using a different LCD that uses the SSD2119. Can I directly replace the LCD, or are there additional parts of the code that need to be modified? Please guide me.

   I use the touchGFX to design a UI interface and have a serial issue for the distortion ,the format of picture is PNG with alpha ,color depth is 32 bit ; Even if i set the parameter on the touchGFX designer as RGB565,no either, alpha is true or ARGB888, no either, alpha is true , the real display effect with the 2.8 inch TFT LCD is not so good as following picture that i have no idea to improve this issue,by the way, the whole frame of LCD window is good to be displaied with R,G,B,white, black;    

Hi ST teams,Currently we use the ScrollList widget to show up to 2000 items and list item is not same properties for all, I have create the custom container to support item can show one of two layout: date title and item info like image bellow: To able detect and show list item with correct layout I have save the item info to list item and detect scroll up/down behavior follow the itemIndex callback from void HistoryView::scrollListUpdateItem(HistoryItem& item, int16_t itemIndex) if itemIntex > oldItemIndex then scroll is down else is up. With detected behavior and item info from last updated list item I will know what is next info index need to get and add to list item. I can show correct the ItemInfo or DateTitle from list if do scroll to list with slow speed. Hi,I've recently migrated to TouchGFX v4.25. The changelog seems to indicate that we can now store our texts in an unmapped external flash, for example an SPI flash. When going through the following page of the documentation :https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/scenarios/fonts-in-unmapped-flash , it only mentions fonts and not the actual texts. Does the same principle apply to texts as well, or is it not possible to store texts in an unmapped SPI external flash ? Or am i not looking at the right documentation ? Best regards,

Hello Forum,I’m working with a custom display that uses an ST7789V controller (GRAM) connected via FMC and MDMA.The single framebuffer is located in .RAM2.The microcontroller is an STM32H750.The application (the .text section) runs from QSPI flash, while the internal flash contains only the bootloader.Some widgets (such as TextArea) are rendered correctly, but others (like ToggleButton) appear corrupted.Additionally, the background image shows horizontal line artifacts.Please compare the two pictures:The first image is the expected reference.The second image shows the artifacts — the button is distorted, and the horizontal lines in the background image should not be there.Has anyone experienced similar issues or has suggestions on what might be causing this behavior?  

I like my digits to be monospaced so they don't dance, but I want letters to be proportional. I want to use 1 font for this. There are fonts that support this. These are called tabular fonts. They have monospaced digits and support figure space (0x2007) for alignment.There are fonts that support this that are also available in TouchGFX Designer:Segoe UIcalibriTahomaThis works. I wrote some code that replaces leading spaces before digits with digit spaces if the font supports it. This works really well and numbers no longer dance. Alternatively you can right-align a text field. But then you cannot have any text before it or you have to split the text in parts (so printf is not possible anymore and you might as well use two different fonts).Another way is to modify a font (make digits same width and remove kerning for digits, and add figure space). I've done this, but this is a lot of work. And this is not allowed for many fonts (our customer allowed us to do this).There are other fonts

I'm driving a customized LCD with STM32F469IIT6. However the image was shifted occasionnally. This issue is very hard to reproduce as it occurs 3time max a day. I'm pretty sure that the sync configs are correct. I noticed that the lane byte clock is close to its limit. Is there any advises or instructions ti solve this? I can give you more details about the issue.

Hello everyoneI joined a somewhat finished project, which has working TouchGFX display using assets saved in external flash memory. The next phase is to enable A/B FW update, meaning that now the assets might end up either in the start or middle of the external flash. Ive been tasked with enabling the program to read the assets at runtime, deciding if they exist in the start or middle using a flag provided by the bootloader. So far, I managed to read Images, Videos, Audio and Texts from the back half of the flash by redirecting pointers with an offset, but im having real difficulties with the generated Fonts. For some reason I cant get it to work. My strategy is to intercept the GFX getFont function by a new class inheriting ApplicationFontProvider, but I simply cannot get it to work. Currently I dont think I even managed to connect it properly and I dont think the code even run through it.Is there some sort of example someone made for this scenario? Would greatly appreciate any help.&

MCU: STM32H7S7L8H6HIssue: Choppy scroll animations after regenerating TouchGFX/target/generated in CubeMX files with TouchGFX 4.26 (previously 4.24.1 or 4.25)SymptomsScroll wheel with custom containers (toggle buttons + text) now shows low FPS when swiping. The same widget was way smoother before regeneration. I have a device with old generated files still running smoothly, confirming the regression is in the regenerated target code (check video, the smoother one is the bottom one).Unfortunately, I haven't git the  TouchGFX/target/generated because I thought it was being generated by TouchGFX Designer and not CubeMX, so I have no idea what code it was running before. Hi,I am new on TouchGFX and UI making, i have make many screens with transition in between i want to add a qr Code,But when I just add a default qrcode no edit, but it dont show any thing, on that screen but when i change screen to different one and come back again the previous screen content print on qr code area.First screen:Qr screen: in the qr area the previous screen pixel shownQr next screen: when we go to next screen and again come back it again shows same issue. or if we set the qr screen as startup it shows black completely in the qr region. Kindly tell which issue causing this, as i does following troubleshoot from my sie;1- use the invalidate in constructor, setup screen of view, and with screen coding in view file.2- try to look every possible options like change qr versions, scale, ECC. mostly every option3- try https://www.qrcode.com/en/about/version.html qr version table combitions to correctly check4- change screens and try on different projects.screen 1:

I have a project that I've been working on for some time, but I stopped using it for a month and when I turn it on, the display only shows pixels of various colors, and I can't load the gfx onto the board. Everything was working fine before.If I start a new project, I can load the image.What could it be?

After developing a test GUI using TouchGFX 4.26.0, when I added the code patch for CAN communication then I keep on getting various build errors due to comaptibility issue between TouchGFX and STM32Cube IDE packages. If anyone has tested CAN communication for Riverdi Display boards that can help then kindly reply. I try to use TouchGFX with FreeRTOS, and one of the many problems I found, is thath the screen is nod refreshed because Thread (TouchGFX_Task) is waiting inside OSWrappers::waitForVSync, but VSync is disabled in configuration. I'm missing something? I followed all the steps in the tutorial (https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/touchgfx-hal-development/scenarios/scenarios-configure-rtos) but seams doesn't working. I'm using an SPI display, the project is for M7 core on STM32H755  

Hello, I'm looking for an example with TouchGFX and AZRTOS / Azure RTOS (and USB). I'm using a customer board with STM32H7S, LCD and USB.  For USB applications, AZRTOS / Azure RTOS seems more suitable to me.Does anyone know of an example or instructions? Dear ST employees, It would be great if TouchFX could optionally generate code without RTOS.       

Hello, I have an issue with my touchGFX gauge. First, let me explain what I want to do and how I currently do it. What I want is receiving data from the CANbus which is a command for the gauge to which position the needle needs to point (same as a car). These commands are direct and if I write it directly to the GUI it jumps positions. It needs to move smooth to that position. What I have now is:I receive CAN message with an interrupt.
